Also, the sauces all came in those horrible little sachets and were cheap varieties rather than Heinz and HP. Saying this the the meal wasn't bad by any means, it was just normal roadside truck stop fair when with a little bit more effort could have been superb quality. For a greasy spoon type cafe the prices are not that low and the food isn't that good. The service is appalling. The last time I went in there I left without having eaten after over 30 minutes because our food hadn't arrived - the staff were far too busy talking to other customers. My daughter was hungry and was desperate for something hot to eat - I had promised her chips and beans in Cleethorpes before having a ride on the train - we ended up going elsewhere. Other occasions I have been there I've been the only person waiting for food and it's taken so long I sometimes wonder if they have even started cooking it. The bacon butties are extremely fatty. It gives the typical greasy spoon type cafe a bad name. I will not be giving them another try.
