But the result was much more, the variety of flowers, shrubs and trees, (some bearing berries for birds) is the envy of the entire neighborhood. The plants have matured into a planned "painting" of contrasting foliage. My experience is that money spent outside of the house goes further than remodel money spent inside...maybe it is the "alive" thing that plants have. Now that my husband and I, the owners, moved in, we wanted a space that felt "finished", cozy and a place where we would like to hang out. Diana, the owner of Trio Landscaping, was excellent to work with. She spent a lot of time getting a good understanding of our budget and what we wanted before she created a plan and sent it to us. We had several zoom calls discussing the plan and making minor revisions to ensure it met our needs. Her design is spot on for our space. We were out of town the week the construction took place and came back to a completely new backyard! I tipped…read more$200 more because it was hard and took them almost 10 hours over 2 days because one guy got sick and had to go to the hospital. - Gave me quote on Yelp from pictures I sent, instead of just telling me to call to set up an estimate like most places do. - Showed up early, but not too early, and got to work right away. Asked for a $150 more on top of the $650 I was quoted, which was fine because it was a big job and $650 was already by far the best deal I'd found. Paid via Zelle. - Cut up logs and stumps with a chainsaw and used a tarp and wheelbarrow to move all the stuff across half an acre. - Polite, expedient, considerate. I fed him lunch and coffee and water. I wouldn't hesitate to have these dudes back.

I tried to contract American Landscape to do some drainage work at my house. I originally had a…read moreconsultation set up for Saturday (and had scheduled my day around making sure to be at my house during the scheduled time), and was called 1 hour ahead of the appointment to be told that Greg would not be able to make it on time. I understand that delays happen and wasn't super broken up about it, so I called the offices and had the appointment rescheduled for 3:30 on Sunday. Come Sunday, Greg calls to confirm the appointment. We confirmed that the appointment was made for 3:30, but I had a flexible schedule so I let him know that if later works for him then we could meet at that time, though the 3:30 time would also work if he preferred. He suggested meeting at 4, which was completely agreeable to me. Indeed, at 4 he came by and said hello while I was speaking with my tenants out front. The conversation was to inform them about a worker who would be replacing the locks in their apartment and to nail down some leasing details, so I told Greg I would meet him in the back yard shortly. At 4:05 (according to my phone), I went to the back and Greg was nowhere to be found. I circled the property looking, to no avail. At this point (approximately 4:07) I called his cell, and he very curtly informed me that I "made a mistake by making him wait", and to "not call the company ever again". In Summary: American Landscaping cancelled the initial consultation session for the originally scheduled day, was allotted another 30 minute extension for the rescheduled appointment, and then drove off without a word when I had the audacity to take 5 minutes to complete a conversation with my tenants. This behavior is confusingly unprofessional.

That, a high back armchair that has seen better days, an old Sleep Number mattress that has been replaced by a new mattress, and some miscellaneous foam strips that I tried to use to stop the trough in the middle of the Sleep Number air chambers had to go. I reached out to Junk360 via their website request for estimate and got a prompt response. A couple emails later a pickup date and time was set. On the day of the pickup I received a call, as I was told to expect, telling me they were on the way. The crew was on time, professional, courteous. I presume it was a light load for them but they had everything out in just a few minutes. Less than half an hour from parking the truck to closing it up. I'm glad I used Junk360.
