An Australian from Sydney who comes to Byron bay every year first told me about this Egyptian restaurant. MUST GET: triple dip (pita bread with hummus, Baba ganoush, and spicy tomato sauce). The pita bread is thin and toasted - delicious! Each complement is delicious! We asked for extra pita bread and finished all of them! Prawns with mango avocado sauce - Super fresh prawns that are perfectly grilled. I like the mango avocado sauce. Can use a bit more salt or lime sauce on this. SOLID: Roasted cauliflower - fantastic sauce with dukka. The cauliflowers were a bit over cooked. Ask for a crunchier version. SKIP: Fatoush salad - this salad is too salty for an american.
