I have used Tarzan in the past to top off our trees and have been very happy with his work. This time when he arrived to walk though our home to our rear deck, we asked if he had been inoculated. He said he had not. We reacted by saying that we would then prefer he, at least, wear a mask. He refused. He preferred to lose a client rather than put a mask on for 15 minutes to make us more comfortable when entering our home to make his estimate. Very disappointing. read more

We purchased our home in the fall of 2017. There were several good size trees that had grown up near the back of the house that needed to be taken down, as well as some limbs that needed to be removed. With us having several other projects in the works around the same time, in the early spring of 2018, Tarzan the tree man group was great in coordinating schedules and making recommendations. We were very happy with their work, flexibility, and professionalism. Totally recommend their services. Another year has come around, and there are several more trees that need to be trimmed and/or removed. I'm looking back to Pat and Morgan to do their magic and make are home safe and beautiful, by removing additional limbs and trees. Need free work done? I highly recommend Tarzan the Treeman! Pat and Morgan were excellent! They came out quickly, gave us a great quote, and got us on the schedule shortly after. They are professional, fair-priced, and they do an incredible job! They brought down a large pine tree that was dying and it literally fell exactly where they wanted it to. Thy also trimmed up some branches on three massive trees to give us the pictured view. Wow, right?!? The skill and planning they put into everything is beyond appreciated from this home owner! I had an extremely negative experience with the administrative side of this company. I have had Pat do tree work for me in the past, and thought he did good work and was a very nice person. However, this time around my project was outright rejected by Morgan, Pat's sister who manages scheduling and quoting jobs. Pat came out to my house to look at the work I needed, which included a large broken tree limb hanging dangerously above my deck. Pat and I agreed that that needed to be removed right away. In the meantime, I was trying to work with Morgan on quotes and scheduling. I received an initial cost estimate with no detail that seemed fairly high to me. I asked her to provide me with a detailed quote to help me understand exactly the cost of the various services I needed. And noted that 1.5 months after Pat came to look at the work, the broken tree limb is still hanging over my deck and the rest of the work has not even been scheduled. When I stated "this is very disappointing" in my email, I received an extremely rude response telling me to find another tree service. Furthermore, Pat had put me in touch with a contractor, Dan Hayes, for concurrent work on my driveway. After I was dumped by Morgan, I received a curt email from Dan saying that he would not help me with the work, with no explanation. Obviously they talked to each other and blackballed me. I responded to both emails politely but asking for further explanation, and left a voice mail for Morgan. Neither Morgan nor Dan had the courtesy to respond. I have never left a bad review for anyone before. But the lack of professionalism and human decency in this case compelled me to so now. I would not recommend working with these people. read more

I am a repeat customer and would never consider using anyone else for tree removals. The latest project was the removal of 6 HUGE Holly trees. Not only is there no trace of the trees but the clean up was impeccable. I didn't even have to pick up 1 leaf. I remember the 1st project they did for me several years ago, it was the removal of a very large tree in the dead of winter. Very close to my house and literally next to a 10 foot fence. It was amazing watching Patrick rope up the tree and carefully cut branches before he downed the tree. Felt bad for him working in the freezing weather, wind blowing like crazy but he was a true professional. My neighbor also noticed and hired him for a project on his property as well. If you are looking for a professional, reliable, down to earth company, look no further. Like I said earlier, I wouldn't go anywhere else. Good People! read more

Outstanding work from Pat and his crew! We had about 6 trees that needed to be removed and 2 big ones that needed trimming so I saw their truck driving through Biltmore Village, and I thought to my self, "Tarzan the Treeman, that's a cool business name," So I gave them a call to schedule a time for an estimate. They accommodated my schedule and came out one afternoon, so we went over everything I wanted done and they gave me a very detailed estimate. After we scheduled the work, they were very prompt and did an outstanding job. They removed all of the logs, cleaned up everything, and chipped the limbs in my back yard so I could have a big mulch pile (I haven't had to buy any all year). I would recommend them to anyone who needs expert tree service. read more

Patrick and Morgan were fantastic! I had several large trees tangled amongst power and phone lines. They not only did a great job with the tree removal, but coordinated efforts with the service companies to get lines taken down and reinstalled after the cut. They were also very helpful in evaluating which trees were best to drop and which should stay, based on the health of the trees. And they came in way under the quotes I had from two other companies.
