Cutest bookstore ever! I had to stop by The Book Store when visiting Kaukauna…read more There are a variety of sections labeled with the best signage. The owner told me she made them from recycled cabinets- so creative! The store has a huge mystery, horror, and romance sections. There are some smaller self-help, history, sports, and biography sections. There is also a great clearance section with some blind reads near the front door. I also recommend you checkout the selections of bookmarks and stickers near the cashier. The bookmarks are made by local artists. The Book Store is a must visit for book lovers in the area and there are lots of cool eateries and pubs nearby too.

Didn't say anything as I complemented the store, didn't say anything while I made my purchase. I went back the next day to exchange a shirt and I asked the lady for an extra bag and told her I'd pay for it if it wasn't free and she made a big deal about it. Then she threw the bag at me after I purchased the other shirt. I will never spend my hard earned money there EVER again.

Make sure you understand the return policy thoroughly before making a purchase. I bought a Sherpa…read morepullover for my daughter here on Small Business Saturday, intending to give it as a Christmas gift. As a first time shopper, I asked about the return policy and was told it could be returned for in-store credit. The sleeves proved too short, so I tried to return the purchase today. Initially the cashier said there was a 10 day return policy on clothing and refused the return. I explained the information I had been given, but since it was seasonal, she would only make an exception to exchange it for the same clothing item. She referred me to the back of the price tag, which does explain the policy; but what I was verbally told was different. Well, a larger size doesn't have longer sleeves, but since I had no alternative, I made an exchange. I said that as a first time shopper, it didn't give me a good impression of the store. Nothing more was said. (BTW, the item is now on sale for 20% off vs my 10% discount. Bottom line, I thought this might become a store I would shop frequently, but now I will not return. I try to shop local, but with policies like this, it's no wonder larger stores are winning the retail race.

I am certainly glad I acted on the recommendation as Jim has a great eye and I am very much a novice in all matters artistic. He went through a series of frame swatches until I saw one that set off the alarm bells in my head and left the painting in his care. I was more than pleased after receiving it back. Wonderful work, and also at a very affordable price for custom framing (the paining was stretched on gallery boards originally and not a common canvas size either). I can't really speak of the selection of art supplies as, as I stated, I know nothing of such matters, but the painting looks fantastic and Jim was great to work with. I would highly recommend Art Haus.
