If I knew in advance I would have booked in advance. My uncle said they were not good anymore anyway they used to have good pet sitters and now they have teens who don't care and the company doesn't care either. They didn't even stay thirty minutes like they were supposed to and hardly walked the dogs for 5 minutes. Then they told my uncle they don't service Apex anymore so company doesn't care they just want your money.

They took the time to come and meet our dog, engage him, and throughout our trips, they constantly send pictures and updates via text. its incredibly reassuring to know he's in good hands. A few months ago we had an ice storm while we were out of town. Carolina Pet angels stayed overnight at our house to make sure toby was taken care of - truly above and beyond our expectations- would recommend them to anyone who is tired of sending their dog to "jail" when they travel. i know our dog enjoys the visits and being in his own home.

Horrible place. In a hot summer week I brought my long hair dog there and specifically told the…read morestaff that my dog cannot stay out in the sun. They assured me he will be fine and they would keep them cool. They also said I could call any time to check on him. I called once a day during the week he was there, and every time they picked up the phone they said "let me check on him", and came back and said "he is ok", asked for more details, the answer was still "he is okay". When I picked up my dog at the end of the trip, he looked not himself -- instead of cheerfully greeting me, he seemed slow and not even been able to focus on anything. When we got home, he was lying on the floor started panting. The panting got worse and he coughed very bad throughout the day. I had to take him to the vet the next day, spent $200+ dollars for the vet visit. I had no idea how he was treated during the stay at Pooch Pad but I would never ever take my baby back there!

Let me first preface this by saying this review does not apply to everyone. We love Dr. Bray, and…read morethe vet tech we dealt with this morning was very sweet. We are leaving this practice after years, and THOUSANDS UPON THOUSAND UPON THOUSANDS of $$$. 1. Front staff is apathetic, and uncaring and bordeline rude at times. Especially young lady with long black hair. There is one lady with light brown hair and southern accent that is nice, but that is the exception. 2. Wait times are unacceptable. They rarely honor appointment times. You can expect to wait 25-45 minutes for a drop off appointment and well over an hour after your appointment time for your pet to be seen. You also can expect to wait 25-45 minutes for them to bring your pet out to you after drop offs or procedures. 3. Prices have increased steadily and consistently, and they often push very expensive and often times unnecessary tests. The prices that they charge do not commiserate with the experience you receive there. They have made multiple mistakes, and do not admit when they are wrong. This morning, I had a tech appt to have my cat's blood drawn. It was an appointment that needed to be prompt, because he needed blood drawn within 4-6 hours of meds. Because they were late (yet again) he missed that window. They did not seem to care when my husband mentioned he was concerned that the window was missed, annd just said, well it's been done now. They had that our appointment this morning was a drop off, when in fact, it was not. Then they blamed their error on my spouse and said that he knew it was drop off appointment because they had discussed that he needed to have his blood drawn within a given time window. They missed that window because they were late. AGAIN. You can't justify charging exhorbitant amounts for services, and then be consistently late, rude and apathetic about it. They don't seem to have the staff that is needed to service this large of a practice. They need to overhaul this practice if they want to stay in business. We will be transferring all but one of our animals (except for the one that is ongoing cancer treatment with Dr. Bray) to a smaller (non corporate) local practice. I mentioned this to the young lady at the desk with the black hair, and she really could not have given a crap.

Moreover it took me a second to realize the shampoo comes out of the hose with the water. More transparent prices and directions should be on the website and at the facility.
