At 1:00, Jamie texted me and said she was at my home. I told her that I was 10 minutes away. As I was pulling into my neighborhood, Jamie sent me a text and said that she had been at my house since 12:50 and she couldn't wait any longer. I don't understand why I was given the appointment of 1:00 to 1:30. My appointment should have been 12:30 to 1:00 if that was the case. I'd had this appointment for six weeks, so now at the busiest time of year for the grooming business, I've got to find a new groomer. So very disappointed!!!

They assured me he will be fine and they would keep them cool. They also said I could call any time to check on him. I called once a day during the week he was there, and every time they picked up the phone they said "let me check on him", and came back and said "he is ok", asked for more details, the answer was still "he is okay". When I picked up my dog at the end of the trip, he looked not himself -- instead of cheerfully greeting me, he seemed slow and not even been able to focus on anything. When we got home, he was lying on the floor started panting. The panting got worse and he coughed very bad throughout the day. I had to take him to the vet the next day, spent $200+ dollars for the vet visit. I had no idea how he was treated during the stay at Pooch Pad but I would never ever take my baby back there!

Dealing with these horrible people has been one of the worst experiences we have ever been through. We patiently answered all of their highly invasive and personal questions which included questions about how we lost our pets!? My wife is one of the sweetest and most caring people I have ever known and it was heartbreaking to sit there and watch her cry for over an hour reliving these horrible events with our sweet pets. We gave them our own veterinarian as a reference! Then after all this, they extort $10 from us. We paid thinking this was the final step and we would finally get our puppy. Nope! Then they wanted a video of our home!! Who in their right mind is going to send a total stranger a video of their home?!? By the way, we have a beautiful home with 10 acres and a creek but that shouldn't matter. All that matters is we have an empty yard where a beautiful dog should be playing. I truly do not know what is wrong with these people and I have a Master's Degree In Psychology! I feel sorry for the animals, THEY DESERVE BETTER AND SO DO WE!!

Excellent bedside manner, would recommend this clinic.

We have been taking our cats here due to convenience of location; however after receiving subpar…read moreand deceptive care for well over a year now we will finally have to start making the trek elsewhere. Every appointment is $700+ (even with paying for their "care club insurance" program) for them to tell us he's fine (he's not) and pass us off, refer us, or tell us to come back to run the same tests for $700+ and still get no answers or results. The straw that finally broke the camels back was when we brought our cat in and there was no vet available. So they referred us to an emergency hospital, but not the one that's covered with the care club so again we got another $700+ bill. As part of the care club, it clearly states on the website/app that one specialty/emergency consult at blue pearl hospitals is covered per year. When I asked the practice manager why he was not referred there instead for coverage, she said it was because "they don't actually cover pets on our plan". I advised her that is very deceptive marketing as it is clearly listed as a perk of paying for the care club *photo attached below*. She also tried to justify it saying it's because blue pearl is "further" ...but for an extra 10 minutes drive I would be more than willing to do so to see a provider in network. It seemed like a cop out answer and again very deceptive dismissive answers. We still have no answers for our pet, but are out about $2000 total since we started this journey to find health answers. The manager said the care club only covers "exam fees" (which she said is $100s of dollars in savings, but according to the invoice is actually only $30 of savings *photo attached below*) So paying $20 a month to only save $30 on the off chance you have to bring your pet in... to me that makes absolutely no sense financially. No actual tests/vaccines/medical interventions are covered. There also appears to be a high turnover of staff. He never seems to see the same people, so that could also be contributing to the problem of getting no answers. But due to the deceptive pricing structure and marketing, lack of care and knowledge from employees, we will seeking care elsewhere. There was also a strong consensus in online community forums that VCA Broad street is one practice to stay farrrrr away from, wish I would have known a couple thousand dollars ago!

My dog is completely obsessed with Lauren and Tiny Dog Dancers!…read more When I first stumbled upon Tiny Dog Dancers, I thought it would be a great temporary solution to make sure that my dog would continue to get socialized during lockdown. I thought we could try it out for just a couple months, but quickly came to realize how valuable weekly hikes with Lauren were to my pup's happiness, health, and well being. Three years later, we're still going strong. Small dog pack hikes (honestly never even knew this was a thing before Tiny Dog dancers) add so much joy to my dog's life. Every week, when Lauren pulls up with her backseat full of ecstatic small pups, my dog absolutely loses it with excitement to join the fray. She comes back a few hours later (sometimes covered in mud) and is happily exhausted for the rest of the day. Lauren sends photos after every hike, and it's so cute to see all the dogs looking thrilled in their element. Lauren is not only clearly beloved by every dog of Tiny Dog Dancers, but she is also just so great to work with as a professional and as a person. She is incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and really gets small dogs. She's excellent with reading their cues, understanding their needs. Like a true pro, she also helps to reinforce important dog training components like recall and playing well with others. I always trust that my dog will be happy and safe in her care, whether she's going on a hike with the Tiny Dog Dancers or spending a week with Lauren while we go out of town. I highly recommend Tiny Dog Dancers to any small dog lover who is looking to add regular socialization, stimulation, and exercise into their pup's life!
