I found exactly the item I came in for today. Hungry Hungry Hippo I knew I had a great shot of finding it here as they have a fantastic game section. They have board games, card games, and travel games. They have great puzzles too, but the board games are super important in our family. We've been playing them since I was a little kid. And McDonald's has a miniature Hungry Hungry Hippo game in their kids meal and my niece thought it was so much fun we sought out a full sized game for her to play. Perhaps because our Target in Yuma is off the beaten track I tend to forget about it for items out of stock at the usual Grocery stores but today I was beyond ecstatic! I wanted a new version of an everyday product which supposedly was on the market. My regular store failed me! I'd gotten my hopes up and looked forward to enjoying this new refreshing product! Now that temperatures are up I didn't want to spend more time in the heat on the off chance that Maybe target Might have them. For almost 20 minutes I got transferred, put on hold, disconnected called back misrouted and the. The cycle began again. That was until Becky said hello and took control. She walked the phone through the store and found a Lead named Daisy who KNEW how to place the call on hold while she put her eyes on the product. What nice ladies! Daisy went above and beyond by asking how many Items I wanted and had them waiting for me at the service desk! Bravo!! Apparently their communications systems was having issues today but these quick thinkers were not going to fail when it came to making a customer happy! Kudos to Target for hiring training and retaining good quality employees like these! read more

So I feel the need to update my review after my last visit to Yuma while visiting family over the Thanksgiving holiday! To leave my last review up, would not be fair. They have really stepped things up in this last year! It seems that they've bulked up their staff and are now meeting the needs of the ever growing Yuma community! We went shopping on BLACK FRIDAY! Okay, BLACK FRIDAY! The store was literally immaculate! They had so many people cashiering that even though it was very busy the lines were moving quickly! The restrooms were CLEAN! Everyone in that Starbucks was hustling when they had a line of probably 20 people and tables full. I am happy to say that they've turned things around and were definitely meeting Target standards during this visit! I hope to visit again soon! read more

I love our Target in Yuma! It's always clean, the employees are great, and the shopping carts are never grimy or broken down.

Actual conversation overheard between customer standing in aisle and Target employee walking by: Customer: "Dude. Hey dude!" Employee: "Yea?" "Where's that stuff you splash on your face after you shave." "Water?" "No it like smells and you splash it on your face after you shave, man." "Cologne?" "No, man it's like cologne but you put some in your hands and splash it on your face after you shave, man. I seen a commercial for it." "Aftershave?" "Dude, yea! You got that here?" The dynamic duo of American consumer and service employee go off together in search of that stuff you splash on your face after you shave, man. Actually I shouldn't assume he was an American consumer. He may have been from SoCal. On the store, this Target is pretty much like every other Target I've been in except that it's oddly scarce of customers. read more

Good variety but horrible customer service. Ordered items online, went to pick them up and they refused to give me a paper receipt. Said I would get one in my email. So I get no proof that I purchased these items while I'm walking around the store. Then get questioned on my way out if I paid for them and where's the proof read more

I was gifted a gift card and the access code on my card was already scratched off and I'm now unable to use it. They told me there was nothing they could do about it so there goes $50 down the drain. In order for me to get my money I need the original receipt, mind you this is a GIFT card I obviously don't have the original receipt. Target do better don't put cards that have the access number scratched. read more

We hate the self check out!!!!! We need humans!!! Wth Target!! Give your employees more hours!! First of all I have to say that the giant lady who I think is the manager needs some happy classes, she NEVER EVER EVER smiles! I've worked for a good Target store before and this place has such low standards. Their soft lines department (clothing) always has stuff on the floor. Nothing is labeled correctly. Most of their shelves are always out of stock. The cashiers are incredibly slow and always understaffed. The addition of self check outs hasn't helped at all. Honestly, it doesn't feel like the team members don't care about their jobs at all. No one ever smiles or looks willing to help anyone out at all. It's like the life has been sucked out of everyone. read more

Big, spacious, and well lit. It's just too bad they didn't carry my favorite moisturizer (Boots Expert Night Cream) ...which oddly enough I couldn't find in Orlando's Targets too...only in CA Targets! I did, however, buy 2 family sized boxes of CORN POPS for $2.99 each!!! STEAL! =) Oh and skim milk. =) ... I left the store happy.... too bad they didn't carry sour belts! read more

The target here sucks. They never have enough cashiers. Every other target I've been to they have a "three's a crowd rule and they open another lane so you don't have to wait. Here they let you stand in self checkout for 45 minutes and clog up the isle. They also let teenagers run rampant in the store. I get that there isn't anything to do in Yuma and it's hot outside, but these kids can't be running through the store disturbing paying customers. read more

Great selection on merchandise, but the customer service, checkout lines, and bathrooms are just below standard. You would expect this from Walmart or a store that might be busier, but the bathroom in Walmart is maintained better than this and the lines go quicker. I will still shop here as Target has always been one of my favorite stores, but the experience is not very eventful. read more

I just visited this Target and read the reviews prior to posting this one. WOW! The employees are fantastic! I will tell you I counted 12 individual employees who wished me a good morning and asked if they could help during my shopping experience! Nice enough Target. Had everything I was looking for, one too much, other two, OK pricing. No bargains. Actually found 2 useful and helpful employees which are hard to find in nearly any store anymore! Hence an extra star. Lines not bad. This isn't really a super Target by any means. It's like a scaled down version of one, and I was just a little perturbed that there is beer but no cold beer, and even though the employee said there was hard liquor... there is no liquor, just beer & wine. Reasonably clean and decent parking. Starbucks in the lobby. Wish they didn't close so early either. read more

This Target makes me sad. The employees who work there obviously hate it or think they are too good to be working there. The store is always dirty and gross. Shopping for clothes in there is a nightmare because it's hardly ever cleaned or organized. Don't even bother shopping for shoes because it's like a minefield in the shoe department. Their selection of movies is so-so and their home decor section is very small. The new food department is also small but they do have harder to find items so that's a plus. Target is one of my favorite chain stores but this one is like the runt of the litter. read more

This store is very disappointing I am wondering why the quality of Target has gone down at this store anyway the bathrooms don't have paper for the toilet the restrooms are never clean. The paper on the door is signed by the employees saying they checked and clean..Bullpoo....There is one manager who seems like she cares but either they are understaffed or they just don't care about the upkeep of the store. I don't care how good your product is if you don't keep your store clean you may as well call it a loss. I have been to Dollar Stores with better upkeep. read more

I love shopping at Target. I lived next to a Super Target in Colorado and then we moved to Yuma and I was like, at least they have a Target. And then I went to this Target. They don't have an actual Guest Services desk. It's just a register by the express lanes/self check-out. And they RARELY have another register open. There's always a huge line of people... some returning items, some purchasing, all at "Guest Services." Open more registers and not just at Christmas. And the baby/toddler clothes section is always a hot mess. It's like they have no one their during the day to pick up after lazy customers. I love, love, love Target but this one makes me so sad! read more

This Target has lines that are slower than at Walmart. I'm not kidding. They keep like 2-3 lines open and everyone here is just a slow poke. I haven't seen anything like it. I was in a line with the worker scanning a bunch of items for a customer. And then they were counting something, slowly. And then she gave him a bunch of coupons and it held the line even longer. She apparently tried to use a 50 dollar or more coupon and only spent 49.98 so the cashier had to call his manager to get the coupon approved. This all took like 15 mins+, while the other lines were just as slow. It was torture waiting. I don't live in Yuma and I was the only impatient one there. Everyone else seemed to act like it was normal and wasn't amazed or shocked at the slow service. Those people need to experience a real Target! read more

This is my first yelp review so bare with me please. If I have an issue at a retail location I usually just speak with the manager and that usually resolves the issue. Do not attempt this at this location. The store manager at this location greets criticism, complaints and simple questions as personal aggressions towards her and response with threats. I simply asked the manager "why is there only self checkout" her response '...(something that I was unable to hear) and followed by "and if you don't like it, I will have you Tresspassed..." so to avoid further conflict, and I lost my appetite for commerce, I left my full cart at self checkout and left the store. After leaving the store I googled "tresspassed", if this happens they ban you from all target stores for 1 year, it's used to discourage shoplifting but this target store manager is using it as a threat if you complain or ask a simple question. This seems like a HUGE problem at this location. read more

This location is fairly new and is conveniently located in the Yuma Palms.

This Target has the worse customer service! The cashiers are rude. There are NEVER any personal available on the sales floor to help. The shoe department is always a mess! After being a loyal customer of Targets for years I am now questioning my allegiance after the experiences with the Yuma location. read more
