I completed the transaction late in the day (after 5pm) on Friday 11/7, they shipped 11/10 and I received the rug on 11/12 via UPS. It was well packaged. I love this rug. I thought the main color would be more blue but it was more gray which I was told and did the purchase knowing this. The gray did not disappoint/bother me because it is stunning with the contrasting colors. It is in a room with baby yellow walls, soft blue contrast, white trim and silver accessories. I got 5X8 perfect sizing, superb quality, heaviness and thick pile. This room is being designed for my 15 year old daughter and she will love it. This rug is a beautiful statement piece. I wish I was closer to this store. I am sure there are a lot of goodies to find. I'll keep an eye out for sales because I'm sure I'll be purchasing for this business again. I place the pricing as moderate for this store based on the one purchase but I haven't checked other items for comparison shopping.

When we said no, the friendly employee gave us the lay of the land and told us there are three floors to the store and that it's much bigger than it seems from the outside. Totally true! I always thought this store was small, but it's really huge. We started browsing through all the setups and were immediately impressed by the styling of each area and all the different items. They have all kinds of furniture, decorations, and rugs. Prices were clearly marked which I appreciated since it shows they're not trying to hide anything. I was pleasantly surprised that I found quite a few things that would fit into our budget, along with higher-end, more expensive pieces. They also have a clearance section which we looked through. The pieces I saw mostly swayed more modern and a little less traditional, which is more my style anyway. Upstairs we found a coffee table that was a major upgrade from our current table, but still in our budget and actually quite affordable. It has a metal base and a glass/ceramic top that looks and feels like marble. Super sleek and sophisticated! Christine was upstairs and asked if we needed any help. We asked her about the process for purchasing as we wouldn't be able to fit the table into our car. She told us that we could pay for it and come back with a larger vehicle, or we could pay $60 for local delivery. SOLD! I am all about that convenience and for $60 they can pack and carry the pretty heavy table. We paid for our purchase and Christine was super awesome with the whole process. I am so glad we finally stopped in to Stonesthrow and I can't wait to go back! She did say that they also do special orders if you know something you want and they are able to get it in store. Highly recommend looking here instead of Wayfair etc. for a local option. They also provide interior design services!

These eclectic antique shops are so much fun! Such a pleasure to do business with a company that stays in constant touch and explains everything AND does what they say they will do. 1 Star - Extremely Disappointed with Bob's Discount Furniture - Unacceptable Customer Service…read more I purchased the Bolt power reclining sectional from Bob's Discount Furniture, with delivery scheduled for today. I specifically planned around this delivery because I am hosting an event at my home this evening. Today, I was informed that the delivery truck had broken down and my furniture would not be delivered as promised. I understand that mechanical issues happen. However, what I find completely unacceptable is the lack of effort to find a solution. I even offered to pick up the furniture myself to avoid the inconvenience, only to be told that wasn't an option. No alternative arrangements were made, no compensation was offered, and there appeared to be no effort to accommodate the situation. Now, I am left hosting an event in my home this evening without the furniture I was promised would arrive today. I made every effort to find a reasonable solution, including offering to take responsibility for picking up my own purchase. Unfortunately, Bob's was unwilling or unable to work with me. As a result, I canceled my order. Bob's didn't lose my business because a delivery truck broke down. They lost my business because of their complete lack of flexibility, accountability, and customer service when something went wrong. Furniture is a significant purchase, and customers deserve better than this. A company should be judged not only by its prices and products but also by how it treats customers when problems arise. Extremely disappointing experience. I expected much better from Bob's Discount Furniture.
