We love Costco's "heirloom eggs" which are fabulous. Some of the baked goods. Certainly the meats. Some of the produce items. This afternoon's shop was easy enough as I managed to get here on a Sunday afternoon when it wasn't at all busy. Easy to grab a cart. Easy to shop. Easy to check out. Easy. Majority of this locations inventory is not priced causing customers to miss out on buying products…read morebecause they don't want to price check the entire store. This almost results in excessivly long lines as the cashiers spend at least 5-10 mins per checkout waiting on a price check. Also the rudest employee base I have ever seen, they fight and cuss. Speaks volumes to management. I understand it's a discount chain but it seems this location is cutting ethics and morals more than pricing.

What I always find really neat about this store (as with other Dollar Tree's) is the variety of useful and decorative seasonal items at this store. Last spring I was able to buy ridiculously cheap seeds which did germinate and produce some pretty decent vegetables. Great place to get seasonal potholders or platters for adding holiday cheer to your house. The mylar balloons I get from here last a really long time too. One balloon we got in February lasted weeks. They did fill that balloon fresh up with helium, so you might not have as good luck if you get one of their pre-filled balloons. Another great item to get is there frozen fruit, they are pretty decent and come out to be a lot more economical than normal stores. The store is generally kept very tidy. Sometimes the checkout lines can be a little slow, but this is always in flux like any store. For me it just gives me a longer opportunity to roam around the store and find other small things to grab for my house.

Whether it's a holiday in spring, summer, autumn or winter... They have it! They always have coffee or a yummy new warm cider to sample which I enjoy and often end up getting too! The staff is very helpful when I can't find something because they rearrange the store each time thy have new items. I do think it can be overwhelming at first glance because they have so many items often times tucked into displays or decorating trees so I miss out finding the specific piece that's shown as part of the whole display. They also have an upstairs area with more decor and that's also where they have The Snow Village section is very well organized ( including different themes and seasons) and even has retired pieces which I love also! If you ever want to perk up your mood, definitely stop by even to browse because it's pretty hard not to leave smiling after leaving such a cheerful, colorful and bright experience! The parking can be hard, but they also have parking under the store! I learned today that not only do they have the samples of coffee and cider, but they have a Coffee Club! They even grind the beans there for you and have many flavors! Instead of syrups to flavor the coffee, the beans are flavored! I definitely had too much fun today checking out Halloween items, the Pumpkin Spice coffee and also the new ornaments they received!!! I didn't realize I had spent almost 2 hours in there!

We agreed on 2ish. Well, I arrived around 2:10pm at the restaurant when I get a text saying it would be closer to 3... I was so sad because I was really hungry. My friends tells me to go check out Kirklands, that's how I got here! I procrastinated a bit but it was around 2:20pm on Tuesday afternoon when I visited Kirklands for the first time. When I walked in, Fall time aroma was evident. If I had to guess, I would say the aroma reminded me of pumpkin and/or cinnamon. While looking around, I noticed ample Fall and Halloween decor. The store was running a 25% sale off for Labor Day. I saw some cute mini monogram pumpkins that were $4.19, but of course, they didn't hav a Z for Zay :( Other decor items included pillows, pictures, lamps, pumpkins, furniture, towels, etc. There were two tables with candles. I LOVE candles! The sale price was $8.99. I ended up getting two. One was "Teach, Encourage, Inspire" which was lemon, apple, pear as Summer is wrapping up and the other was "Cafe Macchiato" for the Fall time me or anytime lol. I didn't like many of the offering for seasonal aromas. I'm sure many others would enjoy it. The cashier present was Nancy. She was really friendly and helpful. When I walked in, she helped others but asked me if I needed help with anything and told me about the current sale when she was done. She did the same thing for each customer that came in after me. While checking out, the card machine had some issues and wouldn't accept my card. Around about 3 tries it worked. Nancy stated that "they" we're moving the line underground and wires may have gotten hit. I assume she had been having prior to me because after the first time, she said it wasn't my card. Nonetheless, no biggie. I saw many things that I would buy but nothing I needed. Some things were a big pricey for me too. I typically don't decorate for each season/holiday except Christmas. After my items were paid for, I left to fill my tummy with tacos and a jumbo margarita :)
