The service is no better than other stores. The selection is too big.All I want to see is affordable organic food.I don't want to pay double or triple the price for organic food.I don't want wood pulp in my food.I don't want gums or chemicals banned in other countries in my food. Also,Trump isn't making America healthy again. He's pushing for more pesticides in our food.We should have cleaner food than other countries, not more dirty food.Let's make America healthy again. read more

Took my friend and her daughter to shop for girl clothes. This is the most deserted and organized Target I've been to. I love it. Found 3 dollar leggings with cool prints perfect for a teenager. Only had 2 open registers and a very long self check out line. read more

There is a really rude barista at the Starbucks. Don't know her name because she doesn't wear a name tag but she's tall and has badly colored red hair and always wears a baseball hat. All I said was I didn't think my drink tasted right she made a huge deal about it. She may really need to rethink her career path if she cannot handle a customer service job. read more

More items are on the shelves and in order. However, drive up has missed some items like tops to storage containers and completely omitted 1 master lock and izzes orange. Called back and guest services line rang for 3 minutes the first attempt before disconnecting me and 3:26 the second attempt on a Sunday, Dec. 15th 11pm, CST. They close at midnight. LUCKY for Target the Madison Hilldale location gave me the wrong item after Thanksgiving. They mixed up a Ninja fryer for an Instapot. read more

The store is extremely neat. The merchandise is very well organized on the shelves. The staff is very helpful even walking you to the merchandise that you are looking for. They are smiling and very professional while being very friendly. Their prices are reasonable. They offer fewer brands it seems than walmart. read more

This was honestly a nicer shopping experience than Kroger, Walmart, or Brookshire. The store was clean and well maintained, they had a wider variety of (and better) products for a reasonable price. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Shreveport, Louisiana

I live in Gonzales and the Target on Siegen Lane is the closest to me. They are always prompt with curbside service and they have great products. I definitely don't mind driving a little farther to go to Target instead of battling with my local Walmart. read more

Of the current local grocery store options, Target is at the top of my list by a large margin. In my experience Target's prices on grocery items are a little bit higher than some other places overall but I consider it well worth it for the much more pleasant shopping experience. The employees are vetted better and trained far better in customer service. The employees are friendly and helpful. I hate dealing with the disgruntled, lazy, and often racist attitudes of their big competitor. Also, the store is kept reasonably clean. While many items are slightly more expensive, a lot of fun and great deals can be found at Target, much more extremely so than the other competitors. There are even Web sites which list Target's days of the week which the various departments put their items on clearance as well as some awesome deals that people have found so you know what to keep an eye out for. The best deals are usually what has clearanced out lower but haven't yet been marked at sometimes 90% off. That's where the price scanners come in handy. The only frustrating part is that sometimes a lot of the scanners will be out of order. read more

I always enjoy target. It's so quiet and peaceful to shop here. The workers are all very kind. Recommendations: Please put fresh fruits and veggies out. The bell peppers are always wilted and wrinkled. I never feel comfortable purchasing food from here. Also, enforce the masks. It's not okay that people have to be uncomfortable because people won't wear them. They're required and the store says it all the time, but it's never enforced. It's annoying. read more

I had the pleasure of stopping in while out of town. however, a woman who made it very clear that she didn't work there but this was her product, left me with a fowl feeling for target. she was incredibly rude for no reason, and yes her shirt had the target symbol on the arm so I apologized for believing she was employed there. Just not embodying those target values the way she should and pissed off a few loyal customers from nola. read more

The store workers are nice and friendly. But the Tar-bucks (Target Starbucks)? Oof!!! I've been miserable at a job too. But I definitely didn't take out on people. Apparently buying mugs was troublesome and saying hello to the barista was, Idk, offensive? read more

This is a good storr. You always feel good when you walk in a target. . Their lights are great. And the floors are really buffed. You can see yourself in a target floor. Lots of things in target. Good experience. Except my son wanted cigarettes and the fools don't sell cigerettes. I wonder if they have an alcohol isle? read more

Be sure to double check your receipt before you leave!!! 5 out of 7 times, things have rung up higher than the price on the shelf!!! I have proof and I got my money back every time. Almost 50 bucks (or more) Target tried to take from me. ermm... :"((( read more

Target - Share a Coke Zero with Someone Naughty! Heehee :"D - Department Stores Near Me - Shreveport, Louisiana

Target is a awesome store! They are very pricy though. I love the clothes and shoes sold here. I usually shop at target for the trendy styles of clothes, furniture and home decor. read more

I love target and honestly have never had a bad experience till today. I understand that customer service jobs can be very stressful during the holidays but the one lady in returns today with long braids was very rude for no reason. I never leave Yelp reviews but I have to with this. I went there to simply return a jacket and get the right size and she acted as if I was the stupidest person alive. The customer service skills were not there. There was no "hi how can I help you?" or anything friendly said at all, just snarky looks and an attitude. I get having a bad day, but being rude for no reason is just something that under my skin. read more

They sell Jif chocolate-flavored hazlenut spread (which tastes just like Nutella and is cheaper!) You can find it in the peanut butter section of this store. I also recently bought 2 dvds (yeeeesss, I still buy dvds), some old-school classics (Men In Black (hilarious!) and Spider Man 2 (think I need to re-visit it)) that I did not own, and each was only $4.75 a piece (Nice!). I also bought a Fight Club t-shirt (We do not talk about Fight Club!) for only $4.98,,,Though Tar-shjay can seem maybe nicer, or more high-end then their redneck step brother Wal-Mart, you can still find good, cheap deals here as you can see. I just wish this store was open 24 hours, or at least a little bit later than it is currently. read more

I drove an hour and a half to find this Target and it was well worth it! I may have to make a once a month trip just to come to Target.

This was the first time I'd ever been to a SuperTarget. It wasn't as large as I thought it would be. The largest Target I've ever been to was a Greatland. Sadly, I did not get much of a chance to peruse it's grocery aisles, except the beverage area and the produce section where of all places I found praline pecans. I thought it odd that I made a trip to Louisiana and bought praline pecans from SuperTarget. But I couldn't find them anywhere else. So what did I do when I got home? I took the nuts out of their Archer Farms bags and placed them into a ziploc so that my co-workers wouldn't see I had purchased them at a SuperTarget. I was totally surprised that I found praline pecans here. But I had a hard time finding them at any other place. But, I was able to find my usual Target deals here and was pleased with the customer service I received. If I ever get a chance to come to a Super Target again, I'll definitely try to take more time to explore it. read more

Today I have spent the last 4 hours trying to call the optical dept. I'm not lazy, can't drive due to surgery I've had. Guest services gave me the direct number to optical. Over an hour of trying I called back as I could not get through. They took my name and number to get a call back. 3 hrs later I called again and was connected directly to the dept. wonder why they didn't do it the 1st time I called. The lady in optical informed me that I was given the fax number and that was why I couldn't get through. And to find out that I might be able to schedule an exam in July??? Horrible customer service! read more

The most important part of a SuperTarget for me is the grocery section, because it is usually the reason I chose to go to the SuperTarget. I gave this SuperTarget 3 stars because they have a nice selection of organic & fresh food (Baby Bok Choy, Laura's Lean Beef, Simply Fruit Fruit Roll-Ups, etc.), but sometimes the produce isn't as fresh as it could be. The first time I bought Bok Choy here, some of it was moldy when I got home (I should have checked it better, but for the small quantity they had sitting out, it should have all been fresh). I bought a bag of green apples once, washed them very thoroughly with hot water, ate one and promptly tossed my cookies. Not cool. I also wish there was more diversity in the brands they carry, there is an obvious preference to the Archer Farms brand, Target's food brand. read more

The only grocery store in town that doesn't make me cringe. Clean ~85-90% of the time. The produce is usually healthy (I have been to other Targets that still try to sell their rotten produce...) Great baby/toddler section. I just recently used Target Photo for the first time. Great quality, and great customer service. I rely on Target Pharmacy, and I love getting my 5% off of a shopping trip after fulfilling my Pharmacy reward points! Great customer service. There is usually a good bit of a wait, but I think that is expected when you have a pharmacy with such great customer service and care for their customers...who wouldn't want to work with a pharmacy like that?? Over all, my visits to this Target rarely, if ever, disappoint. Friendly staff, always eager to help; these people don't take their jobs for granted, and you can tell. read more

I love Target--who doesn't!? As far as the store, it's generally pretty clean and organized. But I can almost never find a good employee there. They all seem to hate when you ask them questions. read more

I went to Target today, May 6th, and was extremely dissatisfied by what I witnessed. Typically at Target prior to you stepping up to the self checkout station, an employee will sanitize it thoroughly. The employee working in the customer service department was watching over self checkout. She told me to go to the open register & I asked if she was going to sanitize first. I was told it was not her section so she would not be cleaning anything. She then handed me one paper towel with a little sanitizing product on it for me to wipe it down myself. I am not above cleaning anything but is that really how you're treating your customers during this pandemic? It's a disgrace that your staff chooses to be lazy over protecting your customers. We can't expect the number of cases to decline when big retailers, such as Target, don't take the precautionary measures necessary. read more

I called three days in advance to order a cake for small family gathering to reveal the gender of our baby. When I ordered the cake I made it very clear that the order was for a gender reveal, a cake with pink icing, that would have the full name of our baby written on it. First name: Iris, middle name: Ruth, last name: Martin; so "Iris Ruth Martin." This was an extremely simple order, I honestly couldn't imagine how someone could mess it up. When I picked the cake up I was so excited, Target cakes taste amazing, and my husband and I were literally picking it up on the way to my in-laws for dinner and the reveal. I picked up the cake and it said "Iris, Ruth, and Martin." And, it looks like the cake decorators changed in the middle of writing. Target cakes used to be so cute with multiple shades of whatever color you picked. I was in shock. This was my gender reveal, and the cake was a joke! I was in such shock and so upset, I ended up leaving. I know I should have complained and asked for a fix, but I wanted to get out of Target ASAP, and I was still excited to get to my in-laws. Somehow I was able to scrape the ","'s and the "and" off, and I added some sprinkles to cover up what I fixed. All this to say, don't go to the Shreveport Target Bakery if you are getting anything for an important event!!! read more

Oh dear Tar-jay. Man, I wish you were open when I was an undergrad. I would have bought some of necessities for my schooling needs from you instead of sweet ol' Walmart. Parking and lines are so much more do-able here. I don't have to deal with crowds as much here and I can even stop by the mini starbucks on my in or out if I wanted. DVDs are super cheap, but who still buys DVDs? Heh. Just kidding. read more

Love Target. Short lines and I save using Cartwheel and my Red Card. $15 saved this visit alone using both. :) Would have gotten five stars if they were better at putting prices on their items. I don't like having to chase down price checkers to find out prices. read more

Target is a scam for my friend his jacket was not as good as we thought. Target also is very overpriced, their stuff sometimes being over $5 more than it would be at other places. Paid $34.94 for a product that was $24.94 on the shelf. Told the lady at self checkout and she instructed me to go wait in line for Custimer Service. No thanks. My time is worth something. I'll buy online in the future. Disappointed in Target and their employee's attitude. read more

My favorite since I moved here in 2005. Speedy pharmacy, good selection of groceries & merchandise. The staff is friendly & helpful.

Simply love it!! way better than the long lines at walmart. The customer service is great!

I absolutely love Target! They always have everything I need at a reasonable price. The only bad thing about this location are the employees. if you ever need help, or if you're checking out at the electronics counter you will have to search around for a good bit to find an employee. read more
