Direction to the ranges are extremely easy to follow; You can't get lost. I was amazed at how beautifully groomed and maintained the facility was. Staff up at the range were incredibly, professional, polite, welcoming and kind. Visitors were well behaved and acted appropriately. Overall, staff facilitates a family and safe atmosphere. Price point was extremely fair. Good value! I'm looking forward to my next visit. Today - Saturday - 27 December was a very busy day; - Weather was gorgeous; Nonetheless - Parking was easy and getting around the facility was not an issue. A+ Well designed and kept up!

Seems to be a well run partnership at first glance. Suggestion: prior to visiting, head to the website, watch the orientation video, and complete the online waiver. They'll have it waiting for you to sign at the office. The office is your first stop, where you'll sign the waiver (after watching the video, if you didn't already watch it online) and pay your fees. A single fee gives you all day access via wristband, and just a couple dollars more pays for the target stands you'll be using. One free target comes with the fees. Staplers and staples are provided free at each range. Office staff can answer your initial questions and get you in-processed quickly, then let the range officers know you're coming their way. Suggestion 2: weapons brought into the complex must be cased and unloaded. Do this before you arrive, and everything will go smoothly. Range officers are helpful, friendly, and not drill sergeants. Listen to them, follow their instructions, and enjoy the day. They've all got different personalities, of course; the Range 2 guys were pretty lackadaisical, while I appreciated the efficiency of the Range 3 crew. The facilities I saw were all clean and well equipped. Nothing fancy, mind you, but still far nicer than most of the public ranges I've seen. It's a shame there aren't more facilities of this caliber dispersed around the state. I certainly wish there were one closer to where I live. But going here was worth the drive. And for those of us who are veterans, there are discounts for visiting on weekdays. Maybe I can take advantage of that some time soon.

Rebel against the Tourist magnet go cart tracks, mini golf, bungee jumping carnival like fun house…read morerides and go shooting. Tennessee is the patron state of shootin' stuff. Mark Wahberg even said so in the movie "Shooter". Escape from the valley of tourist hell and head up the hill to Gatlinburg, make a left and BOOYAH, you're there. Bring your shotgun or rent one for 5 bucks. Try your hand at skeet or trap shooting. I shoot pretty regular and was looking for some practice time. Mike greeted me at the range and was super nice, not because he was sipping out of a moonshine jug and said I had a purty mouth (Mike was dressed in a uniform and super professional). No pressure...no stupid house rules...take your time, get out on the range and have a good time. These folks run a clean friendly range and are nicer than Mother Theresa. I brought a buddy who had never shot a gun before and they made him feel like a regular. When his rookie ass dropped a shell somewhere and ended up 1 short at the end of the round, Mike handed him a spare shell and said his box probably came short 1 round. I want to play poker with this guy! Value! $6 for a round of skeet is butt ass cheap. $5 for gun rental....really? That's a steal. Friendly conversation and a swell time in the hills of Tennessee ...away from the wife, kids and tourist hell called Pigeon Forge. Priceless. FYI, call ahead since this is a private club and you need a code to get through the gate. I don't have the number...google it yourself. Bottom Line: If you aspire to something more than doing laps in a NASCAR replica 1.5 HP go cart or playing Putt Putt with Sponge Bob, go on over to Gatlinburg Sportsmans Club and shoot some trap or skeet. Wipe the funnel cake sugar from your face and go shoot some real guns. Mabe you'll score some man points with the fellas around the water cooler when you say you went shooting on your miserable vacation.
