Target has always been a store I can spend hours walking around in just to do something. I love this target. The employees are always available to help with any questions I might have, but they are not overbearing in the least bit. I realize they are supposed to greet guests "can I help you find something?" That gets old after a while, they don't overdo it at this location. Went in to look for gym clothing. Was very disappointed on the selection they had. They did not have any name brands. They did not have colorful colors mainly black and grey. They do not have many styles on women clothing at all. But I did find good clothes for my daughters for a great price. They loved the Disney shirts they had. The cashier had GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE wish the receipt had her name to give her credit for the great service. RESTROOMS need improvement. read more

I adore Target to the point where I visit a target location at least every week. I even have a Target Red Card and tell me people about the benefits all the time. I literally do all my shopping at target. My last experience was terrible. I had found a deal if you buy the 60 count tabs for the dishwasher you get the dishwasher booster free. To make sure the deal was honored I took a picture in case the cashier had any questions. She rang up the items and when it came to the dishwasher cleaner she had issues. Se said I can't find any deals for this. So I showed her my phone to see the deal buy 60 get the free booster. She didn't say anything just kept canceling the items and reringing. Mind you there are lots of people waiting behind us. She finally calls the manager on duty over named Marc. He doesn't acknowledge my husband or I. They just start discussing the fact she can't find the deal. I told the manager that I have a picture of the deal and he didn't even look at me. After 5 minutes of this back and forth, I ask them to forget it and cancel those items since we had somewhere to be. Neither of them say anything and just get arguing between themselves. I wait a few more seconds and they are still acting as if we are not there so my husband says Enough. I told them to cancel those 2 items now since we have people waiting for us to eat dinner. The manager just walked off to leave the cashier to deal with it. I asked the cashier who Marc's manager was and she said she didn't know. Then I asked who the GM was and she said she didn't know. I went to Marc and asked him and he said there were not any GM in the area for Target. I advised him I would find out who the GM was and left the store. I have never been treated so poorly at Target who in my opinion has an amazing track record. Some people have very poor customer service skills and should not be a manager. Never did he say sorry or even acknowledge that we were there. read more

Target... It sucks you in and spits you out with more stuff that you came in for. Thankfully, I was on a serious mission and was only sidetracked with a pack of gum. This store has a lot more of the smaller sizes for women than the other Targets, but the fitting rooms need a deep cleaning. read more

So a couple of month's ago I purchased a USB cable called HEYDAY from Target. Last week I saw on the news that this brand of USB cable was being recalled due to the cable being unsafe & reports of some customers being burned by it. I did notice that mine would get hot from time to time. I returned mine to Target but I no longer had the packaging nor the receipt since the purchase was made a couple of months ago. They gave me a refund of a deducted price instead of the price I paid because I no longer had the receipt! Not that I had much of a choice but the product was recalled, they should have refunded me the full purchase !!! Uhhhh! read more

I am so frustrated with Target. Second time within a two week period that I have had a terrible experience at Target. I tried to buy something that the store had advertised on sale as buy one get one free and they refused my coupon. The manager (Mello) said I can only do one or the other. I called Target's 800 store experience # and they just told me its at the manager's discretion whether to accept a coupon or not. 1) Why even have a coupon policy if your store managers can rewrite the whole thing? In that case, a manager can easily say the store doesn't accept coupons 2) No where on their coupon policy does it say that u can't use a coupon toward a store sale item. Also, if Target doesn't allow people to use coupons towards store sale items (a great move for the competitor). It's no wonder they have to shut down some of their stores. read more

Target is definitely better than walmart but the coupon system and the cartwheel app is horrible, like who has the time with kids to pick up stuff and then scan every item. I buy more than half of the stuff from Amazon for this one reason that target has coupons but it is just painful to use them. Like text this number to get a coupon, what if my cell battery dead. Or sign in first and then scan and then re-scan at the register. Like guys how about adding a couple of more steps to get discounts and make it even harder! Perhaps verify the SSN before even getting to the coupon, unbelievable. read more

TERRIBLE customer service. Don't bother asking for a manager because they are the WORST. They charged me twice & would do nothing to correct THEIR error. Told me to call my bank, and sent me on my way with nothing but a bad attitude & condescending face. Lastly, just walked away from me without another word. Target charges more for almost anything you can find elsewhere, their service should reflect that. TERRIBLE SERVICE. TERRIBLE ATTITUDES. If you can go somewhere else, I suggest it. I've been to a lot of different targets in San Antonio and this one was one of my favorites. to me going to target is hit or miss.Sometimes you go and it can be really clean and very well stocked or totally torn apart. This one for me was very clean. I felt like they had better organization than some other locations. I did't find what I was looking for when I went but that did't stop me from finding other things that I didn't know I needed until I saw them! I'm a pretty big nerd so going to the back of the store toward the entertainment sections they usually have different collections of shows and movies like the walking dead, star wars, marvel and DC superheroes. This locations had a lot of different sections, although some of it was picked over. Then I noticed they had a Harry Potter sections and I was all over that. Once I got stuff from there I figured I would just take a look around the store. I did have a few employees ask if I was doing okay but then others who pretended you weren't even there and just had conversations with others. The one employee who was at the register I went to (I cannot remember his name) was so nice and joked with me about all my Harry Potter stuff. He definitely had a great attitude which was nice to encounter. I'll be back to this location for sure. read more

I'm very happy with Target's selection for just about everything. From clothes, toys, clearance items, gifts, food etc... What I love about the Targets in the south is that they immediately incorporated the grocery section to their retail stores, it wasn't the case back home in cali but since my last visit it looks like they've also adapted the grocery isles into their retail stores as well. Great children's clothing for low prices and they're usually doing mix-n-match sales 4 for $20 shirts/shorts/pants and of course the 4 for $20 panties for women. Love the selection. read more

I gave Target a chance and it just frustrated me. I joined cartwheel and some of the things that it shows are not available, but you dont find out till you get to the store. "Oh, we dont carry that." So, i use the app to locate other items but they are not where the app says they are. Whats the point? I tried to contact headquarters but the "contact us" just runs you around in circles. I give up. I never write reviews but I felt that I needed to, this time. This is only towards management and people who are thinking of applying here bc I feel that they're very unprofessional. I went in for an interview, my interviewer really liked me & told me that I would either be getting a second interview or a job offer depending on what she needed to do next. I show up to my second interview & half way through, the interviewer realizes she's not the person that's suppose to be interviewing me. She gets someone in the right dept, she interviews me & then tells me she's gonna look for her manager so that she can talk to me. She comes back & tells me her manager hasn't arrived yet but she will have her call me for my second interview, I let her know that this was my 2nd one and she apologizes and tells me she'll have her call me today. I wait but no one ever calls, I give it another day but still no one ever calls.. I call HR and the HR guy doesn't even know what's going on! He tells me "okay I have all the info I need, we will give you a call back" I wait like 3 -4 days no one calls so then I try calling multiple times. CANNOT get ahold of anyone EVER! then this week I receive an email saying they did not pick me. Obviously I know an employer has the right to still not pick you after the interview but all 3 interviewers liked me, 2 were willing to give me the job right then and there. No one ever contacted me so if you're wanting to work at a place this disorganized and unprofessional go right ahead. read more

Had multiple people ask "can I help you find something?" and the lines were long and the GSTL even hopped on a Lane to help! Plus added bonus, this is the only place we could find our favorite Tolenti pistachio Gelato! read more

Placed online order on cyber Monday offering free delivery, however, after filling in my address the delivery option was denied and my purchase could only be completed if I opted for pickup. Because the items were on sale for half price, I continued with the purchase. This turned out bad. After picking up the electronic items at Loop 410/Hwy 151 location and returning home I found that one of the items they gave me was used and repackaged with missing parts. I contacted the online customer service and ended up with someone in the Philippines that had no training and was not sure how to resolve my problem. So I contacted the store directly to exchange the used item and the girl working in the electronics department was confused about the item and just hung up on me. I called back and she hung up on me again. So I called back for the manager to help and after being transferred five times and put on hold for 25 minutes the store manager finally answered and she hung up on me too after I told her I had a problem with my pickup order and that the electronics department refused to help. This was the first and last time I place an online order from Target. Bad employees, bad management, poor customer service online and at their stores. Shopper Beware!!! read more

The WORST workers. Messiest restrooms/aisles. My experience there has been horrible the past 3 times i've gone. I was accused of stealing and I was ignored. For my birthday I got a $25 target gift card and I was sooo excited to use it. I went in and was shopping and this man comes up to me asking if I found what I was looking for in the baby section which I never went into because I don't have a child. So as i'm looking around they are following me, I just wanted to find something for my room and I was very uncomfortable. I walked up to the worker who was following me and asked if I found what I was looking for, I started to ask him about this giant plant, and he looks at me and walks away. As I was leaving, because I was uncomfortable and no one was helping me out, this aggressive woman approached me and asked if I had any of HER merchandise. I was already upset because I was ignored and treated poorly so I said no i'm literally looking. That was a HUGE accusation and I was soo embarrassed because all I wanted was some room decor. Horrible experience and poor customer service, any other location would be better than this one. I am very disappointed in that target, all other targets have my respect. read more

This Target is like a second home for me. I feel like I'm here just about every other day. Even if the grocery prices are a little higher than HEB, if it's just a gallon of milk or a loaf of bread, I'll still hit this Target before driving further down Potranco for the nearest grocery store. Overall, Target employees here are friendly and apparently know the store well, always pointing out where things are when I've asked before. Also, just like most other Targets, this one has an in-house Starbucks which helps albeit there is an actual Starbucks across the parking lot. This one also has a fast food stand that serves popcorn, hot dogs, and sodas for a quick bite while you're shopping. A couple of items offer a $5 Target card for purchasing those items in bulk, just something to consider. Restrooms are always clean and the aisles are kept well-organized. They could stand to open a few more registers occasionally, which keeps this review from fetching five stars. Nevertheless, if you're in the Westover area, Target for convenience is pretty much a given. read more
