Destiny in the front office is nothing short of amazing. She's knowledgeable, courteous, and genuinely helpful--she reminds you of what great customer service used to feel like. And then there's Richard (aka "hernia guy"), who literally busted his gut helping folks out. He may not have lifted over his weight class for me, but he absolutely went above and beyond. I needed a couple of straps to secure a pallet on my trailer, and what did Richard do? He walked out to his own truck and grabbed a couple of his personal straps for me to use. He didn't know me from Adam--but that's just the typical MO for the whole team at Target Rental. If you need to rent anything in Durango, do yourself a favor and go see these folks. This is how customer service is supposed to feel.

After a good experience with our rental today, I figured I would write something nice, as well as…read morean honest review, to boost these guys' score up a bit, since all went well with our order. We rented an off road forklift to unload a heavy delivery load that was a bit too heavy to handle manually. Everything from order to delivery went great. We were able to order the forklift that same day and get it pick-up early the next day. Our forklift was delivered by Rent-All Rentals on a flatbed in the late afternoon and everything went as expected. At drop-off, an estimate was provided that clearly laid out the fees as an estimate based on a little over the length of rental time that we planned to use it for - which was probably presented that way so there wouldn't be any surprises. The forklift was in good condition and it was surprisingly a pretty heavy duty piece of equipment that saved us from moving a good 3,000 pounds individually, one-by-one, by hand, which would have been pretty exhausting. Furthermore, the area on dirt that we were trying to move the items to, required some distance over dirt, that only an off-road forklift would be able to handle. This off-road forklift we rented from Rent-All Rentals handled moving everything with ease. Upon the return of the forklift the following morning, our invoice was emailed to us with the time matching just the amount of time we needed it for - so we were not overcharged. There were some taxes and some fees added on that he had mentioned prior. We also paid for the delivery and pick-up - all pricing came out to what was quoted to us by phone. No huge surprises. Nothing broke. Overall, good experience.

They stated I must provide my own insurance and must fill out the credit app. Little did they know I have spoke with other individuals who have rented form them for the same exact machine and guess what? Did not ask for a credit app or personal insurance. I even agreed to meet these requirements and after I did the young kid there stated that his boss actually did not want to rent to me. So they literally wasted my time. I am assuming it is because of my age and that I have visible tattoos. I felt discriminated against and instead of simply telling me the first time they would not rent to me, they led me on for 1 and a half weeks and then still refused.

Most recently we rented a piece of equipment that malfunctioned, leaving us with a huge, unfinished project. Josh, the BCR equipment manger, did everything right to remedy the situation and to help us get back on track. This was one of those situations in which a negative was transformed into a very memorable positive. That's what great businesses do.
