They customarily under-promise and over-deliver. I should know, because I am a chronic "last-minute" client of theirs (some might suggest euphemistically they are a "JIT" (just-in-time) shop...). My personal experience with them is always the best. The person on the other side of the counter is knowledgeable, has options that I didn't even consider, and is focused on providing me with something that exceeds my expectations. As a disabled Vietnam Veteran who is pleased and thankful, he is no longer chair bound, I'm pleased I didn't have to Rollate in and struggle to get the job back to the truck. Having said that, I wanted to show the local shop some love and will definitely recommend them to others in the future. I recently started a new side job, so I needed my work shirt to be embroidered with the company logo. I visited the shop on Monday morning and they said, "Expect to have it ready by the end of the week." Lo and behold on Thursday afternoon I received an email saying my shirt was ready. Thumbs up. It seems like they can accommodate all your embroidery needs here. From the store layout, they evidently cater to sororities and fraternities on FSU's campus. And no guys, I didn't join a sorority! The employees at Gandy were so considerate and patient while I went through this process. They never judged when a file wasn't correct and made sure to check all the details and inform me about them before mass printing the magazines. Found several related…read morepatents, closest being a Japanese patent that solved the same issue but in a very different manner. Retained Rapacke Law on 6/19/2023 to file for a patent. ($5,500) Rapacke Law finally files patent application on 11/28/23 more than five months after fee was paid. This five months has been filled with months of silence and missed deadlines during which I offer to draft an initial version, get on the phone to talk through language, etc. Anything to advance the process! I'm making the same corrections to drawings and text (including spell check issues) throughout. My idea is simple but seems to be beyond the assigned associate's comprehension. 3/23/2026 - Application rejected: Drawings rejected - Produced by Rapacke's artist, checked by his associate. Claims fail due to format - Prepared by Rapacke's associate. Prior art discovered - Similar US Patent applied for in 2022. (Wait! I paid $2000 to find this three years ago and it was a US patent, not some obscure foreign patent!?!) Andrew is happy to fix HIS ERRORS for another $3,000. He can't understand my frustration. Not willing to throw more good money after bad, especially now that the prior art has been discovered. In his final communication Andrew even spells my last name incorrectly. This is indicative of the lack of attention to detail experienced throughout the entire process.
