This target USED to be good. Now everytime I walk in here it's so messy! It makes you ask your self if the the management is even paying attention to what the employees are doing? Take a look at these pictures and tell me if this is acceptable??? You can't even walk down this aisle! I understand that you get customers that walk in and just destroy these areas but it has been like this on multiple occasions. Everytime I tell myself, maybe it's been a crazy day, I get that retail is hard! But it's honestly disappointing that I can't go in and look for a pair of shoes for my toddler, and that I walk by 20 minutes later and there's still a mess and not even an employee there trying to clean it up! read more

My positive experience at target : I was in target a few weeks ago, and really needed help with a Christmas tree i was decorating for the hospital . It's a very special tree to support and honor cancer survivors and the ones we lost. Hailey in the Christmas section was so helpful with helping me with ideas and having patience with me . I was able to get everything I need and I was really excited to decorate the tree. It turned out beautiful . Thanks to the sweet girl who helped me . Very disappointed in Target today. I went shopping for my daughter and it was impossible to push my basket through the kids clothing department it was very clustered and unorganized. I ended up spending only $60 before I got frustrated with overall presentation of the kids department. I ended up finishing my shopping at Wal-Mart. read more

I have been shopping here since they opened. I love Target stores but they have three strikes against them lately. Their fresh fruit and veggies are not a good quality, uneven at best, and I have asked them to remove rotten potatoes twice. Also, rotten oranges, old fruit. They need to have better quality fruit and veggies. I won't eat them now that I've seen whole bags of sprouted rotten and bags of oranges with one moldy rotten one in the middle of each bag. That's cheap, old fruit. The second problem is every bag of ships or cookies I buy there have broken chips and cookies. Either their shipper or their handlers are too rough with food. Third, since they opened the self check, they didn't have enough checkers open. They had only one fast-check open, no regular registers and a line at the one checker. I had groceries. I had to make them open a lane for me. Then I complained to corporate. They have more now that it's almost Christmas. Hope it stays that way. I just thought of some more annoyances. There are no prices for things half the time. I have to price check something every single trip. Kids clothes are the worst for that. And the women's closing has gone from pretty good to cheap, see-through fabrics that don't hold up in the wash. All the staples like women's Ts have gotten very thin. Threadbare and see-through. I love this store, always treated kindly and with total respect, employees seem to go above and beyond for me when I ask,but I always ask with a smile on my face and because I've worked retail I know they don't always get treated kindly. And remember at night the store is cleaned and in order and people come in a mess it up. They try so hard to keep it up, but it's not always possible, give the staff a little grace. This morning as I sat with my coworker he ordered and the barista brought him his drink straight to the table... strange right? Since they usually call your drink/ name out. So I will making a formal complaint after this. So the electronic department has HORRIBLE customer service. I go in the area no greeting even though im the only one inthe damn department. You had one lady talking to two other ladies about their schedules while im waiting to even be greeted. Finally greeted to only be waiting for...? No oh we are waiting for... just back to their schedule conversation. So im standing and waiting to only be offered the display tv. I told her i didnt ask for the display. Her response is "i think"... blah blah blah. No let me check to see of we have any more tvs... just the blank stare of "i think thats the only one we have". So i ask for a manager to address the HORRIBLE customer service and he is in blank state as i explain. So i ask is this normal because you have no response. My husband may give this store a 5 star rating but im giving it a 3. Target is a great company and we will always find one to shop at but not this one. This Target is very ghetto. They dont keep their store very clean, the 1st of the month is horrible as they have endless lines, and never enough stocked inventory. I love Target I just wish Lancaster would of got the Super Target instead of crappy ghetto east side of Palmdale. I shop here all the time. I refuse to shop at Wal-Mart. Target customers are more respectful than any retail store. You actually hear "Excuse me" "Thank you" and "Please" All you hear at Wal-Mart is ghetto conversations while their kids are running around destroying stuff. The store is clean and not crowded. The Thursday before Christmas I slipped and fell and hurt my knee on some light yellow liquid near the cereal aisle at the Lancaster, Ca location around 5pm. Two customers that were walking by saw me fall. They helped me up. I tried to shake it off and walk slow. I walked to the freezer aisle by the milk after I took my shoes off and a Target employee came up to me and said he heard I fell and said if I wasnt okay to tell customer service. I told him I would let them know on my way out. I still bought my loaf of bread and egg nog and on my way out I went up to customer service and spoke to a young lady and told her what happened. She apologized. I then left. Not one of the two employees made an incident report. I then called the store manger the next morning and she told me that I would need to come in to make a report in order to have them review the cameras. I then called the corporate office. I told them I would file a report through them and since my knee was still hurting 3 weeks later would go to the doctor. The doctor had me out of work for 3 additional days on crutches and meds due to a bad sprain. I was told my the 3 party reviewer it would takw him 30 days to make a determination. I asked for my medical bills to be paid and the time I had to take off to be covered which is not bad for what happened. 30 days came and went and at the 60 day mark I emailed the rep and he said he was still trying to interview the employees a few days later I got a decline letter saying it was not tjeir fault. Are you serious???? I was not even walking fast when it happened and I talked to 3 people from the store 2 employees and the store manger. My knee is still not fully healed and cracks/pops everytime I bend it. I guess Im forced to now file a small claims case which I will have to do now. Big box stores like this particular target location are the reason why Amazon is doing so well. The citizens of this country can no longer rely on a little thing called "customer service" from these major chains any longer. In fact, it's almost a shock to the system when a caring team member genuinely helps you out simply because IT'S THEIR JOB!! I can't even tell you the many disappointing experiences I've had at this Target. But for this review, I'm gonna tell you about Monday. While waiting in line at the ONLY open register, a clerk named Cheryl, decided to take it upon herself to ask the young man in front of me if he'd be interested in a "Target red card." He was...to my dismay. Now of course I don't blame him...but as the line started to increasingly get longer behind me with other faithful Target-arians waiting patiently to pay for their merch, we all began to slowly fume with impatience and disgust. A few customers behind me even asked a random associate if we could open up another register or two. The man applying for the red card turned to us all after some time and apologized for the wait. (Funny he took that upon himself before the clerk said anything). After 10 minutes, 2 other associates showed up to open some more registers. Being as how my entire cart was already on the conveyor belt, I could not easily move to another line (assuming this nightmare would come to an end any minute now anyways). But the endless computer entries continued...and I began asking myself "should I just leave?" Finally, as he's nearing the end of the transaction, I blurt out to the clerk "do you honestly think this was the best option at this current time? To sign this man up for a credit card when you're the only register open and have a line full of customers?" She quoted some BS about how this was "policy" referring to them being forced to offer every customer this "exclusive offer." I was furious. Seriously?! You couldn't move him to another clerk, like say "guest services?" Or perhaps a kiosk where this transaction could've been done off on the side without affecting the rest of us?! This is why a 50 year old is working as a target employee. No common sense. No education to simply think "what are my options here?" She thought she was doing good by this customer. Yeah....he got terrific customer service. But what about the other 5 of us? She asked if I was interested in speaking with the manager and I said "absolutely!" So this little pipsqueak kid with blue-dyed hair and a nose ring (no more than 23 years old I assure you) approaches us and assesses the situation. She's sympathetic but offers no apology or change in the way they do things. Nope. It's all about that effing target red card. They don't care about anything else. I eventually spoke with management of the entire target metropolis and explained my situation and added how I don't HAVE to shop here. There are other choices. She said she'd call that store's management team. Maybe something will change but probably not. I'm still fuming. This is why self check out lines have also become so popular. Any monkey can bag groceries. I'd be elated if they got rid of all these loser employees and let us just do the shopping/paying/bagging ourselves. They're absolutely worthless. Kelli. This is one of the worst Targets I've ever been to. The targets in Palmdale are much nicer. This one is messy, everything is out of stock. They always have 2-3 lines open when it needs to be more like 5-7. I even prefer the Walmart on J which is really saying something. read more

Horrible experience today. The cashier was not very approachable to begin with. Once the transaction was ending she was very rude and was unsure how to process part of my order and asked another employee whom also seemed unsure so they just decided that I could not get my discount. I went to Target tonight to buy a pair of flip flops because mine broke after a few years of abuse. I found a pair I liked, and then set about browsing the store. The store is neat and clean and employees are friendly. There's nothing to complain about here. When i lost my boyfriend and wandered into electronics looking for him, the girl asked me if I needed help. I told her I was looking for my lost boyfriend and she apologized, since she didn't know where he was... lol. We ended up leaving with several items besides my flip flops and the prices are comparable to other stores. Target is nothing amazing but its nothing to smirk at either. :) read more

I like this target. I was surprised that other comments mentioned the store being unclean because every time I've been it has been very clean. The only complaints I have is that if you go in the morning almost every aisle is blocked by employees stocking. There is also usually a large group of employees outside congregating on their breaks or whatever. read more

I haven't actually shopped at this Target yet, but I went in there today to get some in person help about a mistake an employee at a different target made, resulting in my gift card not working and the money being unreachable. NATASHA and her other customer service associates were fantastic. They were extremely helpful and quick, so far from the laziness you usually experience with customer service in retail stores- calling and talking to the gift card representatives themselves and working out all the kinks. I am extremely satisfied and will definitely be making this MY Target store. Thanks Natasha and staff! read more

Price match my ass! I'm so pissed and disappointed right now. I went to buy game of thrones season 1 (wanted to watch all seasons again) and online it was at 14.99 from 15 retailers. Target had it for that price, as well as bestbuy and Walmart. Only found one (in the wrong area) and proceeded to check out. It rang in at $29.99. Woah hold on, back up, reverse. I was confused and double checked the website. Sure enough I was not crazy. So we went up to the customer service line and let her (Lauren) know it was available at 14.99 at 15 different stores including target. So she proceeds to check on her tablet as if I was lying when showing my phone (I get it policy). Then she says it $24.95. And that's all she can do. Well I showed her once again on my phone. "Well I have to go off the bar code not what it is" it was the exact same thing! And it was on multiple stores for the cheaper price. I honestly felt she didn't want to even try! I get it there's a line behind me but two seconds for you to understand I said 15 other stores had it for this price? Really. Great work ethic. I freaking love target but just WOW. Never had an issue before. Ugh I'm so upset. She's just lucky my impatient husband was with me and dinner needed to get made.
