1 star for the poor customer service and for the manager making up their own rules because they don't like people using coupons. If you're going to create your own policies, then why don't you put up signs instead of wasting my time? I go shopping, pick up all my items, and then go to the check out to find out that the manager, at their discretion, has limited the number of items one can purchase. If you want to limit items, go ahead, but where's the sign? Laurel was the assistant manager, and I asked her to call the manager, which she wouldn't do. Apparently, the manager was on a 2 hour lunch break. I don't really know of anyone that gets that long of a lunch break either. I tried to purchase 8 boxes of diapers, and they said limit 4. I don't really understand why Target doesn't like to make sales. I used to love Target and hate Wal-Mart, but now I think I need a new place to shop. read more

I honestly love the Target chain but this Target is a nightmare because I can't enter without being stalked by the lazy, no brain "secret" shoppers/loss prevention. I don't steal, but since I'm brown and young looking I get profiled as a thief by these losers who suck at their job! All the other Targets in the AV are so chill but this one has some serious staffing issues. Hubbie and I did some shopping here since we didn't want to go to Walmart. We hate how everything is locked up like Walmart and we have to wait so long in the aisle. The workers are always on their phone or talking when we ring the button. I wish they were faster opening the doors. Hubbie wanted Starbucks that's the only thing Target has that's better than Walmart. I would give this place a two but the worker named Marie made mine and my hubbie's experience better. Shes very happy and bubbly, she recommended multiple drinks to us. Hubbie and I felt bad taking our time deciding since she was alone and looked really busy, she was always patient with us, smiling, cracking jokes with us and made our drinks super fast after. She makes one of the best lattes I ever had at Starbucks. So shout out to Marie! Since this is the only Target in Lancaster it's easier to shop here than Palmdale, I hope they take down the doors soon and clean the dirty bathrooms. I wish I could give 0 stars. The service here has become non existent. I went in after checking the app for a new childrens book that released this week. App said limited stock so I figured why not. Went in didn't see the book so my wife went to ask 2 associates. One named kevin looked at a pic on her phone and instantly said they didn't have it and it need to be ordered ship to store. He didn't do anything to check inventory and the girl from target mobile was useless, she was busy reading a greeting card. When my wife said they never had it I went and asked the mobile associate to check the dpci and sure enough it showed 3 in stock. A wonderful associate named Alex (the only associate I would ever recommend) said it was in the back and had it for me in 2 mins. Off to customer service for a price match with Amazon. At this point I had 2 books, both for match. At customer service the guy working said "we can't match amazon if its a prime item because it's a paid service". I assured him I've never had a issue before and that I've never not seen something sold by and shipped by amazon that didn't show prime eligible. I got fed up and the other associate working customer service never said a word. So I paid target prices, walked straight to my car and called corporate. The wonderful man at corporate checked my items against amazon and informed me both were eligible. I asked if I could have him inform the associate and he agreed. I went in, handed the lady "other customer service worker" the phone and the rep instructed her it was within guidelines. She told the rep she was the on duty supervisor and then she claimed she didn't know anything about what happened and refunded then rung up at amazons prices. The point is there is no "guest service" here. I wasn't trying to pull a quick one but I've never seen a set of associates this hell bent on not helping anyone. The store wasn't busy and asking someone to see if a item is in stock isn't that crazy a request. I'm ashamed I worked there. But having left the company, I guess you see what difference 10 years can make and can't ever recommend it. If companies like target wonder why they lose sales to mail orders like Amazon here is your answer in black and white. Disgusting, filthy, disorganized store. I avoid this place like a hooker avoids church. I only come here when I am in the area for work. The doorway is littered with cigarettes and homeless people line the walkway. The cafe counters were littered with wrappers and spilled drinks. The floor was speckled with popcorns and trash. I figured I'd kill two birds w/one stone and grab a new pair of flip flops for my kid....notgonnahappen. The place looked like a dump truck backed in, dumped the load, and drove off. We came here to get our 3 year old daughter her new bed set for her big girl bed. Target is so much nicer than Walmart! There was a good selection of kids bed stuff and she had a great time picking out her stuff. I shop at Target a lot but two times in a row I have had a horrible guest service experience. An employee literally said he didn't see me and my two children and a shopping cart waiting to be helped at the counter as he helped another man who was not waiting in the guest service line. His said he didn't see us because it's so busy, but it wasn't busy at all. My first bad experience was that I bought a tv and it was missing the remote and parts and it defeated the whole point of purchasing drive up because I had to go in and exchange it. Just went here for the first time. Giving it one star due to rude customer service. We went in line for checkout. We don't like to use self checkout because we'd like to make sure people keep their jobs. The lady told me I wasn't allowed to stand in line there (the only checkout line open). She said she would pull people from the self checkout line. I then I get in line for the self checkout area and she tells me I need to move so that people can get thru or else there would be a problem. Idk to me that just seems rude for no reason. I'm not a litigious person, but having time to reflect, I'm pretty angry with how my injury was handled. I was shopping in the store Lancaster Store yesterday when a fixture sliced my foot. The fixture was sticking out, and did not have the rubber covering the other fixtures near by had. It cut my toe open, and I was bleeding heavily. I stepped on to the tile so that the blood wouldn't get all over the carpet. I called my husband over, and he went to the front of the store to get assistance. Instead he came back with a bandaid and gauze. While he sat there on the floor trying to stop the bleeding, a team member walked past us and just kept going. There was blood on the floor, and my husband was trying to wipe it up. I wobbled to the front to let the customer service person know that I needed to speak to a manager, and that I needed to go to Urgent Care. The manager came over, and I told him I needed to sit down. So I walked over to the Starbucks Chair. I told him I was going to need a Tetnas Shot, and that there was blood on the floor, and what had happened. He asked if I wanted to fill out an incident form. Security finally came, and my husband walked him over to where it happened. It was obvious that the fixture was not covered with the rubber protector, and was sticking out. 15 minutes later, someone finally came to clean the blood. Nobody apologized or offered and help. I filled out the form, paid for my socks, and left. I went to the urgent care where I paid my co pay, waited my to be called. They used the derma bond to seal my toe back together, gave me a shot and put me on antibiotics for the next 10 days. I can't shower or wear regular shoes for a few days. I'm traveling to Japan at the end of the week, which makes me nervous because of all the walking I will need to do. I called Target today to ask for a District Manager, and they told me they don't have one, and offered a number to "corporate". That number turned out to be for Red Card Services, and the lady who I talked to was of zero help. I'm extremely irritated with how this was handled, and I will be doing my research to find out who I need to talk to, no one at the store seemed interested in making sure I was okay. I love this specific Target for several reasons. I like it because it's nostalgic, right by my house. I grew up going to this Target for things like a super cool Barney backpack and school supplies and later on, my first makeup. Nowadays, this location's awesome because they always seem to have more XS in stock. I got an awesome Rodarte bikini the last time I went home. They also carry Bronner's soap in the regular and small bottles. Lastly, they have California Baby products like other Targets in OC; however, this one sells the calendula cream $3 cheaper which is great because it's so helpful with my dry skin and eczema. read more

Love this store. My wife and I shop here for everything including groceries. The produce and meat are always fresh. Great prices in both name brand and store brands. The only con I have is that the parking lot is often dirty and homeless seem to linger a lot around the store, making me hesitant about allowing my wife to shop alone. Target is my go-to store. I love everything about Target. It's so easy to coupon here and the associates are so nice. I hated Target because I used to work there when I was younger but apparently conditions have gotten better, and also the minimum wage has increased in the state, so maybe things are better. This is my favorite store and I must say it's clean and always a pretty much comfortable shopping experience. I come here so often I kind of know who works there by now lol well at least recognize them by face. They are pretty good at keeping the bathrooms clean and lines down. The pharmacy is pretty great and hardly no lines and if they do they are quick about getting more people to help out. The only complaint i have is that the employees are not good at customer service and never say hello to me and pretty much ignore me. I don't mind it because it's not my business after all but it would be nice to get assistance sometimes. Cash registers are okay nothing great here but I like the self check out. Customer service is good there is hardly no line. Photo center is not attended much which is annoying. Food court nothing bad to say there it's clean. read more

While in Target today , @ location Lancaster ca. I saw an item that was priced differently when scanned, so I asked an employee to speak to a manager so they can let me know if the price was wrong. The employee I spoke to said he was the manager (Jose)and when I showed him the price was scanning differently then shown he became very rude after another employee told him the ticket was at a lower price I overheard him say he will not give it to me for that price. I felt attacked and also felt like I shouldn't come back. He was also rude to another customer who was in a wheelchair saying he will not give him a refund without a receipt although they do refunds if you have your form of payment. Employees were useless and rude. I asked for help to get baby formula. I said I need 20 bottles. This moron lady says she is going to get me 20 bottles after looking up her inventory. Then she passes the job onto another guy telling him to get me 20 bottles. They had me wait up front at customer service standing for 30 f*cking minutes. When I questioned If the person got lost or what happened. No one even tried to help me. They just said "well it depends how far in the stock it is but personally when I go back there it doesn't take me this long." So help me u stupid dumb woman. Do ur job! I'm so mad I stood there for 30 mins and all they had was 13 bottles. Then why even bother looking on ur stupid phones for stock and have me wait when u don't have what I'm asking for. I'm so mad.
