I ordered groceries online due to current mobility limitations in my household. My order arrived with one bag belonging to another customer and 5 missing items (plus one item cancelled). When I returned the incorrect bag to the store (limped in), I was told to either shop for the missing items myself (which I physically currently can't do - broken foot) or submit an issue through the app. Online ordering is an accessibility need for some customers, and this situation was handled poorly - customer service was lacking and frankly the failure rate of my order was 66% of the items were missing or cancelled! I don't like paying higher costs for business loss costs that are passed on to the customer so I brought the bag of items that weren't mine back in AND it was like....'ok'....not even a thanks. Guest Services, I get it - it's the suckiest time of the year to be in retail....but if the order had just been 90% right - we wouldn't have had to interact at all. lolz! I'm doing this review because so far....none of my on-line orders have been 100% - Target is the superstore and frankly it's my last resort now. read more

Sweet! A Target close to my place. I think I will be coming here if I need anything because this was not any regular Target but a Super Target. What's the difference? It's a whole lot bigger than a regular Target and I think that's pretty much it. They had groceries here and most of the stuff you need from clothing to pots/pans. There's a pharmacy here too but I can't say anything about it since I haven't been there to get medicine yet. Pretty good place to fulfill your needs if you don't want to spend too much money. read more

This Target location is fantastic!! They seem to always have what I'm looking for and their employees are very helpful when you need something. This location is also a remodeled one which looks very nice. I believe this is the only super target in the Kansas City north area which is another reason to shop here :) 5 stars for sure!! read more

I love Target to death but this one seems to have trouble keeping items in stock. It seems like a 50/50 shot that when I go in there for something I need, I'll end up disappointedly looking at an empty shelf where the product is supposed to be. I shopped for about 45 minutes, and when I got to self checkout, my visa card wasn't working. I had never used it before, and it's the card that I receive my paycheck on from work. I asked the employee at self checkout for help, and she made little to no effort. I picked up on some attitude as well, and when I asked "what do I do?" also received no help. The employee walked away as if the issue was solved, and (embarrassed) I asked where I should put my merchandise since I couldn't pay. She rolled her eyes and said "I'll get it". This was my first time shopping by myself; it was humiliating, and disappointing. The employees should be able to problem solve, preferably without sassing the customers. I love this Target. Ok, I love Target in general. I can get the necessities here but what I love most is their home section. Oh, and their patio/garden section. They have a lot of cool items that I wouldn't find other places. They also have way better customer service and knowledgeable clerks than their major competitor. This target I use a lot for pick up. I have a little one and don't always want to have to walk around the whole store. I returned an item and picked up a new purchase all in about five minutes the other day. I'm so impressed by how smooth this experience was. I have used pick up service at other places and have been horrible disappointed, but not liberty target. The staff is always friendly and I never have to wait for my item to be retrieve like other places. I definitely recommend their pick up service for a quick in and out. read more

First I love target, but it's 4:30 on Friday afternoon and dummy me I thought I would run up to target and grab a couple of things. Long lines at the self check out so walked to a cashier, only two were open, standing in line over 5 minutes and seeing the line growing behind me, things happen, then my biggest pet peeve the manager got a couple of people to open other lines and instead of bringing over the people who were standing there the longest he let the people at the back of the line to jump to the front. HORRIBLE. This store hasn't been restocked since last year. Bare shelves. No sizes. Dirty floors trash everywhere. Whoever manages this store should be ashamed. This used to be a great store until last year when they implemented a new stocking procedure and they couldn't get the stock until the item is sold out which then takes a few weeks to receive. Also the food has gone down. Their brand used to be good but now is horrible and the dates are way expired in milk cheese and yogurt. All of their fruit and vegetables are moldy and soft. Just opened ground pork and it smelled like rotten eggs. Worst store in KC by far. read more

I know...why do a review on Target when everyone knows how the store is and everyone shops there? This particular store is undergoing a remodel so it's pretty messed up right now. When I first saw all the disarray, I figured I'd be out of luck for getting something from a gift registry, but employees were more than happy to assist me in finding the item I needed. That was impressive and helpful. Also, everywhere I looked, I kept seeing employees working double duty to unpack and stock new merchandise for the remodeled store. It's one thing to do your job with a smile on your face but quite another to be given a ton of extra tasks and still manage to be so helpful and friendly. read more

Target is the Upscale Deparment store you wish you could shop at ALL the time. Due to bugetary constraints, we (my family) choose to spend our money on other more enticing things like Culvers or Sheridans ice creams. Don't get me wrong, Target is the BOMB!! We love the store, Groceries are always fresh, selection is strong, Clothing is hip and holds up very well. We just can't seem to afford to shop here unless it is for something special. Which by the way we do on a monthly basis. Daughter gets most of her clothes here. I love their workout uniforms and wife buys her wine here. So we give this Target high rankings and some business. Target has one of the best selects of home decor of any big box store. They have trendy, coordinated, designer lines of home furnishings. This made shopping for a dorm room for my niece so convenient! The theme of gold, white , and pink fell right in with the line of items Target carried, so we literally were able to get everything we needed in one go, to outfit her room. Gold lamp, white comforter, pink sheets, rugs and a pink and gold wall hanging to tie it all together. All young, trendy, and not breaking the bank! read more

I have to say this is one of the best Targets I've been to. I'm a huge fan of Target, and shop there often, especially since it was way closer to our old home in North Carolina. We now live in the area, and this Target is a little further than one of the others but I'll drive the extra 10 miles because this one is amazing. The staff is so friendly, I had multiple people ask me if I was doing okay. The cashier was polite and made small talk which was really nice. I missed the Midwest and their hospitality. This one in particular was very clean very well stocked, and since it is a Super Target it has more than the normal Target. The food selection was by far the best part though for me. I eat mainly vegetarian, and this one has so many options it was wonderful. I even made a new friend while in that section. Definitely a huge thumbs up from me, and will be going back for sure!! read more

My review is an awareness announcement to those who shop Target via the Instacart app. I am a senior on fixed income budget. Today I learned there are two different sets of pricing on the grocery items. (I can't say on general store items, bc I don't know.) What I learned is there is a HUGE pricing difference, and apparently this is a DELIBERATE OVERPRICING PRACTICE used for on-line shoppers! When my ticket from store was $20 less than that on the Instacart receipt, (which is the price deducted on my method of payment,) I was concerned. I thought there was an error, so I checked with Instacart. Nope, it was not a mistake! THEY ARE PRICE FIXING EVERY SINGLE ITEM ON SITE ABOVE THE IN -STORE PRICE!!! We're in a pandemic, folks! People my age are advised to shop on-line, and save ourselves from potential sickness, or death...And, I might add, I have had personal experience with Covid. It killed my mother! So, we do what we think is right... And Target in collaboration with Instacart, is PRICE GOUGING people who are uncomfortable, or unable to shop in person, in store! I pay a hefty membership fee for the on-line service, as well as an additional service fee, and a well-deserved tip to my delivery person. I've been doing all my grocery shopping on-line...TO BE SAFE!!! So, for those of you doing what I do, EXPECT TO BE OVERCHARGED. Compare every single item on your Target store receipt to your Instacart receipt and you will understand what's happening. I think this is unfair business practice, possibly illegal, and I intend to take this to higher levels, and make it way more public...like to news media, consumer complaints! This is wrong, and it should be stopped!!! I will return & add the information directly from my receipts as proof. But right now I am unable to directly access them on my laptop. I just hope others will learn the extent to which people are being taken advantage of. I'll be cancelling my Instacart account, and if I continue shopping Target, which has always otherwise been a good in-person shopping experience, it will have to be IN PERSON. Time and time again, I have been impressed with Target. During this challenging year, Target rose to the occasion, providing EXCELLENT SERVICE. I appreciate having had the option for curbside grocery pick up when other stores were not even doing that or had weeks in waiting times. The cleanliness of the store also took me away. All the staff were cleaning and organizing each time I went there....while remaining FRIENDLY and happy to do so. You just doing get this everywhere you go. You can see that you hire quality staff and I want to thank each and every one of them! You have turned this Wal-Mart shopper into a Target shopper...even if I pay a bit more, it's well worth it. Where to start here. I come to this store regularly to be met with shelves that are bare in all parts of the store (seriously just reduce your store footprint). The yogurt section generally always has outdated merchandise; today (4/2/19) the case still had Chobani that expired in January. Today there were hardly any produce bags (one bin still had bags) and there was one checkout (this is a Super Target) open; basically use the shelf checkout, I guess. Came here at 7:50 pm to set up a phone and the tech person told me to come back tomorrow because she has to leave at 8 pm. I asked how long does it usually take, she said 1 hr. So I didn't see any problem, but she said she had somewhere to be at 8 so she couldn't stay late. The staff here failed to properly transfer my prescriptions from a CVS and couldn't make a simple call to my doctor for a renewal. Four days into this fiasco and I've given up on them. Went in today to grab a bike for my son. The bike we picked out was on the rack so we had a staff members take it off. Got to the register and the price rang up $100 more than the price on the rack. Came to learn that the bike was on the wrong rack, even the wrong row. Manager Tiffany expresses the deficit was too big to change and did not compensate any of it. Spent the whole 3 minutes trying to over talk my wife about how the issue may have happened in being misplaced on the wrong rack. We definitely interrupted Tiffany's day for sure while being a customer today at Target. Tiffany was more concerned with asking do you want the bike or not? Maybe this industry has changed because I don't work in it anymore but I assumed the customer was always right? I believed there's something to be said about an employee literally taking something off the rack for us to purchase. Wrong price or not maybe try and figure out how to make the customer happy in some form or fashion. Even her "I can't change the price" was bothersome but again I believe we interrupted her afternoon and as an observer she simply didn't feel like dealing with us as upset customers today. Still purchased the bike for $180 but how important is it to meet the satisfaction of the customer? It's not apparently! read more

The Liberty Super Target is a much better shopping experience than the dirty, overcrowded Walmart across the street. They have a good selection in grocery and general merchandise, and checkout lines are usually moderate-to-short. This is my favorite "big box" chain, and this location is a good example of the chain. read more

Haven't been to my local Target in awhile so we swung in for a few things. I think this location must be going out of business. The shelves were empty with next to no selection. The prices were out of control and the place was empty! Whats going on with my Target? The store use to be packed and the prices use to be kept competitive with the Walmart across the street. My granddaughter needed a leotard for her new gym class. We went during early morning and it wasn't busy. We brought 2-3 outfits into the dressing room. Of course she like one and wanted to wear it right then and there. She was so excited to wear it. I have done this oodles of time w no problem. I put her street clothes in my recycle bag I was carrying, plus the tag from the new leotard. As I was walking out, the dressing room attendant told me I would have to go to the front of the store to pay for the item. I explained to her that I had more shopping to do and she repeated that I had to pay for it before I continue my shopping. I walked up to the front of the store, she followed me the whole time like I was a common criminal. Only 2 registers were open and the lines were long. I then asked to speak to a manager, which she paged. The manager "Faith" came and I explained to her the situation. She agreed with the other attendant and said I would have to wait in line to pay for the item. I wasn't happy and I let her know. While I was trying to ask why the other attendant would not stop talking. I told her I was not addressing her. Now it was between me and Faith, yet she wouldn't stop interrupting. I then asked Faith to let me see the policy regarding this, and she said nothing. I then ask her her last name to which she also remained mute. I then took my granddaughter to the dressing room to change out of the leotard and back into her street clothes. She was very disappointed. Never did the manger offer an alternative solution or try to diffuse the situation. I clearly could have left the tag at a register, so I could resume my shopping. Nothing was offered but a flat "you have to pay for that now" answer. As I said earlier, I have done this many, many times at different retailers that totally understand the excitement little ones get when getting a new outfit. I have every intention to pay for the item, just didn't feel like standing in a long line, continue my shopping, then stand in line again. With a toddler in tow, that could seem like an eternity. We then went to a different retailer, repeated the same behavior, with NO problem at all. I left the store with a very happy toddler who still won't take off the leotard! read more
