A million different styles and colors and shapes and then, once you find it, now you're digging for the right size. And then the dang hangars keep twisting around each other? As someone who regularly uses Amazon, Target and Walmart and has the membership programs with each: The Target in-store experience is very pleasant; The merchandise is relatively good quality plus it has tons of groceries and everyday items (if you need a polo shirt and a carton of eggs and a gift for your child's teacher and mulch for your yard, you can get it all here in one trip); Target Drive-Up makes buying things ridiculously easy (you just order online or in the app, drive up to Target and your purchase nearly instantly appears at your car); and Target has lots of promotions for $10-$25 credits. Pro tip: order things here as Target Drive-Up, not in-store pickup. I feel badly for employees when I've placed an in-store pickup order. I select in the app that I'll pick up the item inside the store, but it always seems to be at the drive-up order part of the store, on the other side, anyway, so the nice employee has to walk all the way across the store to the drive-up part even if I didn't ask for the order as a drive-up one. read more

I looked up pricing for a particular brand of ice cream yesterday and was pleased to find that target offered it on sale at a good price...since i hadn't been to a target store in a few years i thought I'd kill two birds with one stone and get a few cartons of the ice cream while checking out the store at the same time...surprise...the ice cream shelves were all but empty...okay since they only offered five of roughly thirty flavors anyway...can you advertise...bring in customers...and then offer a display like this to buy from...we'll not to me...targets off my list...and I hope it may save some other customers some effort...disappointed potential but lost customer...spent a little more time touring the store and my experience was that "stuff" was was just "put" rather than displayed...hard to shop...retail just ain't what it used to be... read more

Target is a decent store with a lot of choices. I bought a zero water filter that was on sale for 10 bucks less than what was on the website. You have options to choose from as they had zero water and several other choices so the selection was good. I do like the specials they have where you buy $50 and get a $15 gift card. I had some issues getting mine in self-serve check out but Brittany was able to help me out and she did a great job. read more

This is a tough review. The entire store is being remodeled to large extents. We're talking entire aisles moved and some parts gutted entirely. The store in some parts was utterly destroyed. I've legit never seen a target this wrecked. But then again being under construction I can kind of understand the chaos? This Target is huge! And it had a lot of empty shelves. It was very awkward to navigate. I'm again associating this with the transition the store is going through. That and the fact this place is hell to get to and the entire area is a cluster to get around at. So if you're wary of traffic, good luck. I'm being generous with my stars. But I'm trying to be understanding. Overall my lasting impression was the customer service. The lady at Starbucks was super soft spoken in an extremely kind way. And while at self checkout the lady who helped me (had to get alcohol permissions), was very down to earth and chill. I also had to ask for help finding something and the employee I asked was super kind and very quick to help. Having worked retail I know what high customer traffic can do to store shelves and adding construction and weird inventory shortages into the mix and I can see how it would add up to a decimated store. read more

God everyone working there is SO MISERABLE. Walked in to do a return, 2 humans standing there both ignored me for quite some time then a cheery man walked up and asked if I had been helped (mind you I'm holding my 11 month old baby) I said no and told him I had a return then he just stood there saying nothing. So I just pulled up my receipt he scanned it did the the return without speaking to me at all. Then I'm in the baby section and had to wipe my baby down cus he got food on him and another worker who didn't have anything in her hands and saw me trying to exit the isle grabbed a handful of clothing to put onto a rack and just stood there angrily glaring at me wiping my baby down until finally I just said sorry and had to walk in reverse to get out of HER WAY when she could have easily just said excuse me instead of glaring at us. I worked at this target a couple of years ago and everyone was so happy and love working there and now it's like the most depressing place to step into. I don't see any of the people I worked with anymore just the cranky old lady that works self check out and is also a miserable mean/rude human to deal with. Get it together! LOVE all things Target. They are always refreshing their store, which I appreciate (even if it means they stopped selling my favorite nitro cold brew). They have a Starbucks inside, which is great for a pick-me-up while you run your errands. The clothing section is pretty extensive and they have a really cute home decor section. They also carry some brands increasing in popularity, like quip toothbrushes, Harry's razors, and gift cards to Hello Fresh. Also, I've personally saved a lot of time and money using the Target app on my phone. I have a Target Red card, which gets you 5% off everything. If you download the free app, you can put in your card information and they scan it at the register - no physical cards, no pin numbers, no waiting on the machines to read everything, just scan and get your receipt! The app also has a barcode scanner, which you use while you're shopping to get extra discounts that aren't always posted. I randomly save money on things that don't display as on-sale all the time, it's great! The worst thing about this place is getting in/out, the entrance off Woodruff has undergone some construction and traffic can get backed up. But if you aren't in a hurry this is an ideal spot to grab what you need (and maybe a little of what you didn't know you needed, but you definitely need) read more

On 6/29/23, at this store, we purchased and activated 2 VISA gifts cards for $50 each plus $5 fee each. We sent these gift cards to relatives in Arizona for gifts. They received this certified envelope on July 10, 2023. Each card was tried at 2 separate businesses and denied each time for having a $0.00 balance! After my husband researched and waited "on hold" for a total of approximately 3 hours (transfers/holding/ beeping/ disconnections!) Finally discovered that the balance on each card was used (stolen) in Duarte, California on July 2, 2023!! We have been waiting for Target to rectify this theft with reimbursement to us for the $110.00 with no response as of this date. TARGET shoppers beware! This will someday happen to you! This location is just ok for me. It's in a busy area. There were a few times where I did drive thru pick up and it took a while to get everything settled even though I was one of two cars waiting. There was one time where I went to self checkout and the girl said hey to everyone but me lol. The store has a variety of options because it is big but it could be a little more organized. Lots of carts everywhere that are in the way of aisles that are for stocking so it's hard to get around in. I'll definitely come back since it's the closest one to me! read more

Aside from the fact that it's in the worst possible location ever and the front entrance is always ridiculously crowded, a lot of the Target products and prices can't be beat. But for some reason, the pain relief and allergy meds sections always have empty slots and I can't find what I need. It's very frustrating when you don't want to run from store to store. Target Department Stores have hi-jacked COVID-19 for profit to minimize the burden of Operation Expenses and ultimately sacrifice Quality Service. While Walmart continues to accept customers' Returns, Target has suspended honoring it's 90 Day Returns Policy. Mind you, Target allows customers to 'purchase' products, but not 'return' products. Target has not provided any explanation for the contradictory and non-customary action which inescapably reveals an obviously frivolous justification that Returns pose a COVID-19 Risk while Purchasing the same product does not pose the same COVID-19 Risk! The concept requires citizens to ignore the contradiction that while ALL humans (customers and associates alike) 'are' exposed to COVID-19 in an open store of merchandise, ---- only a few gloved & masked associates would be 'potentially' exposed to COVID-19 by 'touching' a Returned product and storing it in an area where customers and even other associates would and could avoid --- and where a corona virus outside of a host would die within days if not hours. Items ready for purchase are not protected from 'touching', 'coughing', 'sneezing' humans by any decontamination procedures. Customers would be protected from Returned items that are stored in a stock area that would be inaccessible to any customers and allow only a limited number of specific Target associates to access that stock area... Target first suspended it's Returns Policy until 15th of April 2020 and has sense extended it suspension of 90 Day Returns Policy to 26th of May 2020. Target associates and management were Rude, sassy, inconsiderate, anti-diplomatic, and - in contradiction to the stated Corporate Policies - failed to practice 'social-distancing' when expressing the extension of the suspended 90 Day Returns Policy - which additionally and contradictory violates standard Corporate Policy for customer care and satisfaction. While Target Department Stores' Corporate Statement 'suggest' the suspended 90 Day Returns Policy will automatically extend the 90 Day Returns Policy to customers who's 90 Day post-purchase period expires prior to 26th May 2020, Target associates and management did not exhibit that the Corporate Office had instructed associates to provide corporate Target written note confirming the 'date' that customers attempted to return merchandise. In fact, Target associates and management even refuse to provide an acknowledgment directing customers to spend extra time and resources to ask Target Corporate Officials to address the inconsistent polices and procedures. A Corporate Policy provision that prints an acknowledgement for each attempted return is customary and required to ensure Target honors the 'automatic' expansion of accepting returns beyond 90 Days to customers. An in-store or website acknowledgement for honoring delayed returns could also exhibit that Target fully intends to honor post-90 Day Returns. The trade-equation-complement required by suspension and acknowledgement balance may dismiss any notion that Corporate Management attempted to deter returns and dishonor it's customary Returns Policy by relying on customer apathy, lethargy, and social amnesia to relinquish rights factored into purchase prices. Given the inherent contradictions, with and without contrast to Walmart's resolve to continue accepting returns, it appears Corporate Management or Class-A Sock holders of Target Department Stores are more interested in profiteering from COVID-19 than exhibiting commitment to Social Responsibilities outlined in Target's Corporate Charter. In the least, the original suspension and expanded suspension of Target's 90 Day Return Policy demonstrates a False Advertisement to customers who purchased Target's products within the 90 Day time frame before and leading up to the first and second suspensions of the 90 Day Return Policy. I stopped by after donating blood to pick up a couple items. While there, I became lighted headed, dizzy and could barely walk. I went to the self checkout to pay and hurry out of the store, but I could not do it. I literally sat on floor, and could not move. Easy and convenient, best experience ever, better than Walmart, can't compare employees from both places, the employees from Target are always courteous and willing to help a customer, I order a stroller online the last minute today, I completely forgot to go to the store and tomorrow Sunday hubby and I are taking the kids to Six Flags, my boy is 4 years old already, I had three strollers including a jogging one and gave them away but every time we go to amusement parks, we end up renting their nasty strollers that I have to clean with my Clorox wipes. Every time we rent is between $25 to $40 depending on wish park is it, so I decide to buy one of my own, It took me two minutes to pick it at the store, I put it together and I love it because it's compact, lightweight. I highly recommend buying online from target and if you need it right away, pick it up at the store and of course that didn't stop me from going inside and do some damage on my hubby's wallet lol read more

Groceries for the more discerning eater, may be found at Whole Foods just over the bridge. That is where you will be most likely to find your quinoa and tofu, hippies. The electronics department is fun. Still offering demo DSI to shut the kids up while you are looking to figure out the difference between Xbox 360 and Xbox one. I just had a horrible experience at this target. Usually it is mediocre at best, but today the clothing section was a disaster as were the shoes. People were unable to walk in isles because of employees trying to stock/move stock around in the middle of the day. It was busy, but that is no excuse for an employee to be yelling at customers who can't move through isles. I stopped in the take a potty break and grab a little snack. Got some yogurt and an avocado, and a gallon of water. As I walked down the coffee aisle, I noticed the large 25oz containers of Folgers ground coffee were on sale for $6.99! That's an unbelievable deal. That would cost about $1,000 if you were to buy the equivalent prepared coffee at Starbucks. Clean and well kept store. The four stars stems from the fact that the restroom smelled like a urine processing facility with the cleanliness of a used hospital bed pan. What happened to Target? Went to Woodruff Road, Greenville, SC location on 10/16/18, and walked into a hot mess of nastiness. Carpet was trashed, not vacuumed in days, only 1 toilet was in order in womens room and it was soooo gross, carts had random garbage left in them, fridge coolers weren't stocked, items in home, bedding, and decor were in total disarray (what items they did have - no inventory, and what inventory was there, was cheazzy). Target used to be nicer than Walmart - and I hate Walmart. Now, it's on the same sub-par level. So much for 'shopping'. I purchased nothing at Target yesterday. I had been shopping at this Target for a couple of years now and have always had a pleasant experience until a few weeks ago I went shopping with my infant daughter and mother. Not only were we talked to rudely by one associate, but then she and her "front manager" sought us out again to speak rudely to us. I have never in my life been talked to by someone in customer service like this. They embarrassed us in the middle of the store in front of other customers. I thought maybe we were on a hidden camera show. I am so disappointed that Target would give the job "front manager" to a man of his character.
