I went there, credit card in hand, ready to make a purchase. Google is a better salesperson than Michael. Definitely less condescending. Read about my entire experience below. I haven't made a purchase yet. The sales guys--Doug (North end) and Michael Sadler (downtown)--didn't come across as genuine. I went to the North end store first to see what options they had. Doug was the salesperson on duty. His attitude and energy weren't welcoming, even though his face tried to make up for it. I felt like he was talking down to me. So I decided to go downtown to compare customer service and selection. There I met the owner, Bryan. He was super friendly and genuine, taking his time to figure out what I was looking for. He pulled up the Ashley Furniture store on his computer and offered to scroll through all the selections to help me find what I needed. I didn't have enough time that day to buy, so I told Bryan I'd come back. I went back the next day and spoke with Michael. I walked in, introduced myself, and told him I had spoken to Bryan yesterday, who was friendly enough to offer to look up some things for me. Then I said I realized it wasn't a loveseat I wanted--it was a three-piece modular. Michael just said, "Well, there's a lot more that I need to know," but he didn't ask any questions. He just made me feel stupid. Then he smiled and looked at me. I said, "Well, what else do you need to know?" He said, "Many things," but again didn't ask any questions or offer any help. He just stood there, saying nothing. So I said, "I'll just come back when Bryan is here." Michael replied, "Well, you're welcome to do that," and then went back to work--even though he wasn't helping anyone else and wasn't busy. How do you expect to make a sale like that, Michael? He made no attempt to help me. He was condescending from start to finish. Honestly, Bryan is the only saving grace at this store. I explained to him that I wanted black appliances and he begins to tell me that they are out of style. Can you imagine the look on my face when he said that! I was not even able to get out black stainless and he tells me out of style. Fast forward, I do all the leg work and and find what we want. He orders it and says four to six weeks at best. Never heard from him again. Called him and said a phone call with a follow up would have been nice. Said he would, still no follow up. I had to call myself and find out when will we receive the rest of our order. Another 4 weeks. So in total 10 weeks and counting.......nothing. Now I have to wait till middle of July. Then I received an email saying 8-1. They showed up at 1:15. I just got out of the hospital and needed my son to assist me at medical appointments. I called them twice during the day to just be told they are out for delivery. When the driver finally showed up he tells me was to be here early but his equipment got stuck in the mud. Extremely poor customer service. That information soul's be relayed to the customer. My son could have provided assistance to me at my medical appointments instead of waiting around from 8-1. The managers could have cared less. They just lost a long time customer who just spent almost 3k on this order.

There are at least two, possibly three levels of items available. The main level had a lot of collectible items, dishes, silverware, books, comic books, etc. The basement had an entire library of books, clothes, tools and furniture. Even on the way to the bathroom and believe it or not in the bathroom there are paintings for sale. The employees are friendly and the prices rather cheap.

He didn't give up and his GM supported the time it took to resolve the issues we were having. I will never purchase a cell phone elsewhere, definitely not even from my carrier. The customer service I received today was amazing. I work in customer service so I get how frustrating it can be. Both remained friendly and Aaron kept me informed of the whole process. His customer service skills and knowledge was extraordinary. A situation that could been complete misery had me leaving the store with a smile on my face and confident in the service team at my local Best Buy.

I used the geek squad in a pinch and I'm glad they are there They also still have the employee in yellow at the entrance who I always imagined was there to tackle you if you shoplift Anyway except for the altered focus in inventory it's kind of like a comfortable shoe and I still recommend it!
