I called ahead and spoke with Vivian about an issue with a product. When I arrived Vivian was so helpful with the aid of a pleasant rep-named Devonte. They provided swift service and linked me with manager Alexis, who went above expectations, in swift and wonderful solution(s). I would definitely recommend and look forward to returning to shop. read more

Sure this is a small location but it is really nice! The Burke store has just undergone a major renovation which has really brightened up the entire experience. I was a bit sad though that they removed the Icee machine which are really rare around here. The store is arranged in a nice flow. They finally moved the electronics and book sections around so we don't actually have to stand in the spot where some woman killed herself a few years ago. That was really creepy so I am glad they worked around that. Why only 3 stars? -1 because they are still not size inclusive. They say they are but they aren't. You have to go to the very back of the store by the fitting rooms, between the clearance racks and maternity to find the plus sized clothes. There are a few xxl tops in the regular sections but they are not cut very generously so they are not the same as a 2x in the plus sizes. There are so few offerings in my size (2x) so I rarely even look. It is quite hurtful. -1 for the food department. I totally get having the food section carrying boxed, canned, and bottled goods. I am a bit put off by the fresh food area because I don't see many people in there buying food so I don't think the turnover is good. I actually don't buy many food items here at all unless I am completely out. The prices are not consistent with the competition and the selection is not good. Honestly, I wish that they would reduce the entire food section and expand some of the other departments. The outdoor section is all of one aisle. The toy selection is small. The sporting good section is also really small. The space that is used for the food could be put to so much better use. It just seems so inconvenient to go there just for groceries... especially if you can only fine some of your list and have to go somewhere else to finish the shopping. This is one area where our tiny Walmart beats our tiny Target! Team members are all friendly and the lines move pretty quickly. They open registers when lines start getting long which is really nice. read more

I like this one better than mosiac. Cleaner and easier to find stuff. Less stress with traffic and parking. Pretty clean during the day. Caios at the end of the day. Staff is friendly and plenty of things to choose from. A safe alternative from walmart read more

This is the Target location that is most convenient to me. I have shopped at Targets for many years in different locations. This location has more of a neighborhood setting than other local Targets that are located in business areas. The store is smaller than most but typical of Target. I like Target because their products seem to be a bit upscale relative to other competitors. They offer brand many name products and have their own brand of clothing. I often purchase their casual and athletic wear. I also buy most of my personal care products there. They have a section that has small personal care items that are ideal for travel. The store now has a substantial grocery section. I will continue to frequent this location. read more

:::4.5 Stars::: The is "my" Target. It's the closest one to my house, 1000xs better than Walmart, and it even has a market. Also, the store is clean, and staff members are usually able to help you locate items if you need assistance. Why it loses half a star... it's not a Super Target. I'd LOVE to have a Super Target. read more

Psst I'm going to let you in on a secret: One of the area's best Targets is located in a rather less-traveled part of town. Fairfax County residents flock to the nearby Walmart for cheap goods-but even though I live right next to Walmart-I'd much rather come here. Target is brightly lit, and not depressingly gloomy like its substandard competitor. The aisles are clean and well-organized. Everything looks new and fresh. I would never entertain the idea of getting my groceries from Walmart, but Target is a different story. What I've said so far applies to all Targets, but this branch is my go-to Target not only because of its proximity to my house, but because it's usually less crowded than other Targets, has a huge parking lot just for Target customers, and is always well-maintained. The Arlington Boulevard Target is horrific some days. The aisles can be dirty, and the store is so crowded you're dying to escape ASAP. That is never the case at the New Guinea Target. I can always find what I need at this location, and the sales associates are pretty helpful, too. Budget-minded makeup lovers probably all know about the makeup brand Eyes Lip Face (ELF), and this Target stocks a large selection of ELF products, from eyelash curlers to their super cheap and Nars-like blush. I couldn't find as good a selection at the more popular and almost glamorous Mosaic District location. The cards are always worth checking out. Besides Hallmark and Papyrus, Target is the spot I usually hit up before some event (birthday, wedding, Mother's Day, etc.). The brands that they sell (Carlton Cards?) are tasteful and have non-cheesy messages, usually. One of my other favorite sections inside the store is the dollar bin. I've gotten everything from blankets to gift bags from here. The dollar bin is also a great place to check out for children's coloring accessories, stocking stuffers, inexpensive Hello Kitty goods, and pet toys. I'm not as much a fan of Target fashion, but I do applaud the orderly racks of clothing and their numerous swimsuit options. This Target is probably less popular because it isn't off a main road, and less convenient, but it's totally worth the travel, if you ask me. read more

This has been a good location overall, then again my interactions with staff have always been limited. I've heard from other sources, both friends and neighbors alike, a few negative reviews of the store, one from the pharmacy. One of the middle aged gentleman that works in the tech department was extremely friendly. He sold me my Playstation 4 bundle, and one or two games when I couldn't find them at other locations. He and I ended up chatting for a few minutes and he definitely made the experience worthwhile. Some of the groceries I pick up there have mysteriously disappeared from their inventory, so that was mildly disappointing, and while some of their apparel is affordable, I've noticed that they easily fall apart in time, and the selection is somewhat lacking. I was talked into a Target RedCard a few years ago. While it was helpful for my unpaid internship, it the interest alone will eat you. I intend to pay it off and possibly cancel it. The good news is, they have a 24 hour representative on hand to help with payments! read more

Ok real question guys: Does anyone else find it IMPOSSIBLE to go into Target to buy just 1 thing? Somehow I go into Target to grab some Milk, but I come back out with shoes, new shirts, DVDs, towels, notebooks, makeup. This happens every time. I always know I'm putting myself in this sort of trap as soon as I park my car, but there's something that Target does to me where I become so uncontrollable. Haha but I love it! This has been my go-to Target for over 10 years now... probably because I live right down the street. But I really got fortunate. This is the neatest and cleanest Target in the area. everything is always stocked neatly and the floors are always shiny! :D People are friendly and nice. And they have a market here too! Wal-mart may be cheaper and 1/2 a mile down the street, but I'd rather spend a couple more bucks to shop here. (Or I should probably say.... "I'd rather empty my wallet here!") read more

I love this Target. It's always acceptably clean, has some good deals and smells like pizza the moment you walk in. Sometimes you can find WICKED good deals on shoes there if you come at the right time. Where else can you find a sort of decent camera tripod for $15? Not at Worst Buy, that's for sure. Their electronics section leaves something to be desired, yet I never know quite WHAT it would be that would make me happy... The food section is great on prices, fails on beer. Why don't they just suck it up and sell me some beer?! They only stock wine. (Update: beer is available now) and has been for some time) You can buy Burt's Bees products here, as well as some Nexus hair care stuff. They did away with Organix though but have some decent stuff for men as well now. All in all, your Typical Target product line-up, with some goodies thrown in for good measure. Bottom line is this location is LESS hit or miss than most. read more

Have been trying to upgrade my phone and contract to consumer cellular for the past four months. I have been to the two targets near me and have had not been able to find someone to help me in electronics. I have been told they can't help me. I wonder how CC is doing if they are not supporting there stores in Target. I Talked to their Tech and they were unable to help me also. read more

This is an acceptable Tarjheey. For a discount store, it has a well stocked supply of merchandise. I was going to give it four stars until I went to the audio department. The folks there were pretty clueless. Other than that, it suffices. Much better than the other big box store to which I don't enter (clue: Arkansas). read more

Went in to grab some groceries tonight. I found most everything. I always get distracted with the target app LOL. I had a nice check out and I really like the elderly gentleman at the check out register. He is always super nice and pleasant. read more

I LOOOOOOVE this target. I always go here to fill my prescriptions... even when the lines are long they try their best to get everyone out and on their way... as well as making sure that each customer is taken care of properly. The clothing sections are always neat and organized... so you don't have to dig through to get good deals... Even on the sale rack! They also have a great $1-5 rack when you first walk in for the kids! Which is usually filled with candy, note books, or seasonal items! read more

I just.... Omg. Love this target hate to give you guys a good rating selfishly because I was you to stay a hidden gem particularly the gaming and movie area! So many times I've gotten there early in the morning and can't find something and one guy in particular who is always there always helps me with a smile and great service even when he is clearly helping other needy people such as myself and still stocking. (Asian guy -- sorry I don't remember your name you've helped me tons of times ) Another associate made sure I knew the promotions so I could save some money. I mean really this is so refreshing, I used to HATE going to target in skyline and Springfield. But now it's back to being my guilty pleasure :) read more

I am definitely a fan! I would have to say that I am quite pleased with this Target, and not solely based on items and merchandise. I was in this store, late the other night, and one older gentleman made my evening, simply by saying hi. I wish I knew his name to give him credit, but he was stocking shelves and taking inventory-if that helps! He was the nicest employee in this store! When I came around the corner, his face lite up, said hi and asked how my evening was. He didn't seem annoyed that it was almost closing time- He simply went out of his way to say hi in between him working hard. His simply hello changed my ordinary visit to Target to a very uplifting visit. It's the small things that count and make the biggest difference. Again, I wish I knew his name, but thank you sir :) read more

I have to say thank you to the target fairfax(Burke) location the lady who worked at customer service tonight(11/6/2020@7:15pm ish)Sorry I didn't catch your name. But if you are in the group you would know who I m talking about. I went to pick up my online order then realized I picked wrong location. But I was already in the store. She told me to cancel the order and she took pic of the items I want went to the floor find it for me. She said if I place an order again gonna be available tomorrow morning. Since I m already in store she's gonna take care of me. Then took her so long to find the items cuz she went to the back stock room climbed on the shelves to look for them! She went out apologize to me cuz it took so long. I told her it was my fault put wrong location, I really appreciate her help! Burke target really provides best customer service, even other ppl walked by me all of them asked me if I need help. Same company I would say none other locations like that! Especially Springfield location, I had worst customer service there! Even Burke location sometimes has less items I still love to shop there! Thx again Burke target! You guys really are the best! read more

Today I have decided to end my time at Target. I don't think any store that carries groceries should Not have at least one person working at a Register at ALL TIMES. It's unbelievable to spend 30 minutes in a store and get ready to check out and No One is available to Help except one person at the self-check out area. With countless other employees at the store, no one was at a register! What if you had medical condition, or like what I saw the line was 10 people back for self-check out, and I had over $230 worth of items to check out. I felt so bad for the lady in front of me with a newborn crying and a 1 year old trying to get out of the kart while she's stuck bagging her own items. I'm fortunate my kiddo is older but he was late for class and I was late for a doctors appointment because it took over 20 minutes just to get out of there. I was lucky I had my sons help, otherwise I would have just left. And while I'm on here MASK UP people. It's Target. It's a PANDEMIC. Just care about others as you can spread COVID regardless if U R VACCINATED or NOT. read more

Great location! I shopped for school supplies for my two kids, entering 6th grade and Kindergarten. They were very well stocked and store associates were regularly replenishing stock as well. The store was clean, well staffed and overall well maintained. My family and I just moved from Delaware and I read poor reviews for other Target locations. This New Guinea Rd location is a gem. Even the guy at the snack bar was polite and helpful! Thanks for a pleasant experience. read more

This is probably my favorite of the several Targets I frequent. It is never too crowded, and there is always someone to help if you need it. The toy section is usually a little messy and sometimes the home section seems a little picked over with a lot of things out of stock. My only REAL complaint was that it seems that sometimes the managers aren't totally nice to their employees. About a year ago I asked an associate to see if they had a certain dress in my size and when she (politely) said she didn't know, but she would look it up in the computer, the manager came over and started screaming at her and calling her stupid. The poor kid looked like she was about to cry! I felt so bad for getting her in trouble. I hope that manager at least got a talking to about how she treats the employees under her! read more

This is one of the cleanest and friendlist (sp) Targets I have ever been in. I usually bring my two grandchildren in with me and they are quite a handful. Ann, a greeter has always been so sweet with them and gives them a sticker. My granddaughter, Haley loves her and tells her so and Ann will reply just as sweetly. Always have had good service on the floor as well. give all of the employees a big thank you from a grateful Nana. read more

This Target needs an upgrade since yesterday! I will say the staff has been kind and they get their job done but the Pizza Hut area smells terrible all the time! The entire place is trying to look newer but the aisles are so small, it's impossible to get through the clothing area with a cart and the bathrooms are very gross. I would love to see this Target upgraded and deep cleaned. read more

Went into Target to get water because I was dehydrated. Did not have a mask and would not put one on. Woman chased me down across the store to tell me I had to put on the mask or I could not shop there. Little kids not wearing masks in store, but I had to. I was going to be in there for no more than 3 minutes to get WATER. Left store after they threatened to kick me out. read more

Target pharmacy tech told me "if your Christmas party is more important than your medication then I think you should just do that" after meds were 1 hour late. Complained to manager Danny via email& phone call. Never received a return call. Done with Target! read more

I am under the impression that a target is a target is a target. I have been to so many targets in my life, and this was is as good or better than most. Their clothing sections are always neat, something other targets in the area don't always have. They have attendants in the fitting rooms (does that make it fancier?) and beauty specialists in the beauty department. They have a good customer service department and all the employees there have been nothing but nice. Since their beauty section now carries NYX, I'll be visiting this location more. read more

My favorite Target to go to. The place is really nice especially the employees. As I went to the beauty section to pickup a couple of things I noticed a bunch of things. All the aisles were clean and neat and perfectly organized. As I went looking for something I asked the employee in the section wearing a cute apron where I could find something. Her name was Nancy and she was by far the kindest employee I dealt with. She was patient and waited for all my responses and explained each product very precisely and accurately while naming the prices. She recommended me a face wash that I am using that she herself uses and told me it works perfectly and now it works for me! Great day thanks to Nancy. read more

They are constantly updating their inventory so I'm looking seeing something new. It is also a store that accepts returns for internet purchases. Good for all: short drive, no waiting period, no delivery charges or concerns, and then they sell the merchandise at a deeply discounted rate to the general public. The end caps are full of goodies and discounts, end of season, perfect product in damaged box products. Always clean! They even have Pizza Hut pizza and Icees. Eggs, milk, bacon if I'm in a hurry, too. read more

It's the brand new target in the area and its suppose to be that new hip construction where it doesnt look like typical one floor target. There are staff members everywhere which makes it easier so u don't have to go track someone down for questions. I wonder whether Its just because they just opened. They are friendly and staff were helpful and patient. If you go there you have to park on the top floor unless you want to take the elevator or escalator up four floors. Now if only they would offer better prices -_- read more

Great nurse practitioners in the clinic, kind and helpful staff in general. A short bike ride for me to pick up some essentials. Very thankful for the "out in the open" bicycle parking, making your bike in plain view to everyone coming and going but not so close to the front door to have in inconsiderate cyclist clashing with pedestrians who do have full right of way. Prices are good, store and bathrooms are kept clean. Before you blast somewhere for a one time "bathroom was a mess" try working at a store and tell me that horrible customers don't even try to clean up after themselves. I have been shopping here for about 4 years, and have zero complaints. Good job Burke Target! read more

The Burke Target Store is completely inadequate when it comes to accommodating its handicapped shoppers. Yes, they do offer some motorized carts, but a closer look reveals the deplorable condition of these carts (just two of them for a very big, very busy store!). When using one of these carts, if the battery has any charge left, one is left to fear that the cart will collapse from under you or that the battery will run out because the carts are rarely fully charged, even in the earliest hours of the morning. If the cart does stop working, you are left far from the help required to get back to the front of the store and your car. Because I believe in the concept of telling the people who can address a problem and not merely anyone nearby who will listen, I contacted the national office for Target stores. (This was after I spent a great deal of time seeking information as to a regional office, to no avail.) I described my concern and my hope that they would improve services to handicapped customers, and in reply received the most appalling email! The young man began appropriately enough, "I'm sorry you had a bad experience at one of our stores. . . ", but from that point it all went South. He went on to tell me that, "according the Americans with Disabilities Act, his store is under no obligation to provide handicapped carts," and that disabled people should be grateful for the fact the store offers this service at all! This reply told me that the person responding to the message didn't understand my intentions at all, and I wrote back telling him that my point was to help the store, because if things were to stay the way they are at present, handicapped people would stop shopping, and therefore stop spending their money, at the Target Store. I also him told him that the Walmart store, less than mile away, had not only kept their handicapped carts in excellent working order, but they had added to their collection of carts, making it extremely unlikely that any user would ever have to wait for an available cart. They weren't required to have them available either, but recognized both the value of the customer and the dignity of the person required to use the carts. So, shame on Target, and Kudos to Walmart! I'm sure that they are happy to have the dollars I spend there! read more

I think I've found a new go to Target. Not too many people there. The place was clean and even the Pizza Hut inside had people eating there unlike every other Target I've been to where the food stand is just there for decoration. This one is close to my parents house so i used to come here often. The parking is great as they have a lot of spaces but my only downfall is there is absolutely no cell phone reception for me when i come here. I have 4GLTE with Verizion wireless and never have any issues with my reception however i always have issues here. It becomes inconvenient because if i have to call home and see what they need to double check things then i can't do it. read more

I loathe this target, everytime I go they are out of something basic I need. A few months ago I bought a carseat from here, when we got it home it had no cover on it and had been used heavily- it was extremely dirty. Someone must have returned it in the box and they didn't check it out. It is clean and less crowded than Burke Walmart but not as well stocked. read more

Awful and lazy stuff. They create rules and policies right in front of you, because they just don't wanna do some. Lazy !!!

Don't use on line scheduling for Minute Clinic in the Target store. All you are doing is scheduling yourself to sit and wait for walk-ins that seem to cut the line. Good concept but doesn't work and the medical administrator knows it and sheepishly tells you to wait. read more

This is my neighborhood Target and its great having only 3 minutes trip from the house to here. They are frequently out of new release movies and the customer service is hit or miss. They do a poor job at running the front end of the store as they shout at their employees and treat the customers as if they are a hassle. read more

I'm not sure what I'm seeing happen. Supposedly there was a change in management in the produce / meat section? Nothing is in stock except meat that no one really wants (unless you dream and romanticize about pork chops you're out of luck). Some of the meat looked questionable at best (brown...ish?). No fish, no yogurt - unless you want the giant tubs. Hardly any cheese. Not really any milk except whole milk. No sour cream. No berries, grapes, ect. One sad little bag of lettuce was dangling from the edge looking, well, already dead. Additionally, I've shopped at this target for years. Have they always blown it out of the water? Of course not. But this is the worst I've seen it CONSISTENTLY ever. And no familiar faces (all the old employees were so nice!!) Did someone try to reinvent the wheel here? Keep the people who were good, knew what was going on in the store, and knew how to keep stuff on the shelves! When I ask people, all new faces, no one has any idea what's going on! read more
