Crappy experience at this Target. I came in to price match AirPods and was told they couldn't match Amazon Prime Day deals--which is fair. But the employee said I could come back the next day. I returned, only for the same person to say, "I never said you could come back tomorrow." Huh? So I asked to price match to Walmart instead, and he did. But when I tried to apply a tax exemption for my business (which I've done at multiple other Target locations with no issue), he told me: "Tax exemption can't be applied to price-matched items." Uhhhh... what? That's not Target policy, and he didn't even try it in the system. I've had great experiences at other Targets, but this location clearly doesn't know--or doesn't care--about consistency or customer service. You just lost a potentially loyal, repeat customer. read more

Staff is always snobby and childish. Costs nothing to be kind. Cashier with the "wicked" circle glasses was hostile towards me. Trying to intimidate me because I picked her lane to check out? I don't go to Target often but when I do I frequently go to this location as it is the closest to my home. The staff here is extremely friendly! I often order my items in advance and do pick up so I interact with a staff member every time I'm here and they're always helpful and quick. As far as the store itself it is a bit unorganized, I often struggle to find what I am looking for which is why I find it easier to do pick up orders. Overall it's a decent store to visit, if you're just looking to browse and don't specifically know what you want to pick up it's great. If you're looking for something specific I recommend using the store app or website in advance to make sure they have what you need and do a pick up. read more

Sadly I was not inside of this Target location very long. I frequent at two locations on Hall and I was in the area, so I decided to walk in. This had to be the most chaotic looking Target I have ever been to. The five below section was a complete mess, more of a mess than usual. There was stuff on the floor every where and broken pieces everywhere. I found a broken figurine with a few pieces on the floor and inside the shelving unit. This could be dangerous to a child walking near their mother or reaching to grab something. I took it to a man standing around, and he appeared to not be busy. He looked at me weird and told me to just throw it away. I thought that was a bit strange, considering I told him there was some on the floor. I did see a shelving area with cute gift items for the upcoming holidays. Sadly, the shelves were not really stocked though, and the item I wanted was missing completely. I decided not to look around further and walked out of the store. I am uncertain if this is always the way the store is organized. I would like to possibly come back in the future to see if it was just a fluke experience because I am sad to give Target 2 stars. Sadly, I did not take a photo of the broken glass as I was too preoccupied about the safety of others first. If I go in again, I will take more photos. read more

This one has gone downhill. I used to really like shopping here, and it's been a while since I've been here. I hate that they have slimmed down their dvds and music section but I still enjoy owning instead of digital. Aisles seem to be narrower to fit more products in. It just seems junky now to me. This store used to be in tact and always neat. Probably won't be back if I can find what I need elsewhere UPDATE 9/22/19: First time I've been here in a year. They have changed things from when I was here previously. Seems like clothing and such they have set up like JC Penny or old Sears store. Took a look around and seems clean and they were stocking Halloween. I had a cashier who was seemingly disinterested in cashiering so that doesn't seem to have changed. I did find a couple of our items cheaper than another store I shop so maybe I will try again for a little bit. I bumped this from a 2-star to 3-star. read more

What ever happened to employees making use of the rest room, having a smoke, or using their cell phone on breaks? Lousy customer service tonight. Red-haired Winnie, (the one with tattooed bones on her right hand) in electronics just couldn't put her phone down long enough to make a sale. I asked where I could find blue tooth headsets and she just pointed to an aisle. I found one to purchase, and Winnie had to be asked twice for assistance, as the item was tethered to the display and could not be removed by a customer. Mike was on an important video call with her and I got to enjoy his face and voice out in the aisle where the item was, all during the security device removal, and all during the financial transaction. I was sure to keep quiet so I didn't interrupt their conversation. I was also going to purchase a cell phone, but didn't want to bother her any further. I usually don't go to Target; mainly because I never encountered a friendly associate there. I really didn't expect it to be any different in Clinton Township, if anything, since it is a bigger area than my hometown, I thought it would be worse. It was close to the hotel, so I thought, what the heck..... I wouldn't be writing this review if I had not been alarming surprised. The two sales associates I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I will say that whoever is in charge of the shoe department needs to be a little more on their game as it was quite messy. It was just nice to go into a store and actually have a smile when you leave instead of being stressed out! read more

This review is for this location only - The first thing I will note, because it's the first thing you will notice is the smell. There is a garbage/recycling dump behind this store and the smell is horrible at times. I cannot even stomach driving past here some days on my way home. Sometimes I would rather drive 15 min out of the way to the Chesterfield store. Anyway, the store employees are fairly nice, not like they go out of the way to check the back for items not on the shelf or anything (Pampers extended nighttime size 6 I'm looking at you!), but the cashiers always ask how my day is going and it's funny because they actually congratulate me on my savings. I absolutely love stacking cartwheel offers on top of mfg coupons on top of target coupons...and sometimes rebate checks too! NEEDS TO BE ZERO STARS!!! This store used to be nice to shop in and friendly workers...Now the workers walk around dropping f-bombs like they are at the bar on their off time and conversations that should never be heard by customers abound to no end. Cashiers all would apparently rather be somewhere else unless you are a certain type of person. If you can't ring up items and place them gently on the counter in a bag...GET A NEW JOB!!! I didn't come here to have my purchases damaged by someone who tosses bags because he/she is in a hurry to probably go on a break or hopefully home permanently!!! Shelves are barely stocked except for overpriced organic, gluten free or whatever other trendy diet food and staples are gutted. Having pusher trays doesn't make the shelves look more full when they are empty or random junk is tossed in the holes. Get your stock crews working overnights so the floor is clear for customers to shop...I am not walking three aisles over to leave my cart just so I can squeeze by pallets, carts and trash!!! Management should be ashamed to say they command this store because it looks like a dollar store threw up with the horribly attended to aisles. So glad the workers can walk around with a small box and see the entire aisle destroyed and do nothing about it. Oh and making eye contact with customers and saying hello or asking if they can help you find anything...NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN HERE!!! This store is in dire need of a change. When you first enter the store it looks like any other Target but once you get shopping you start to see the differences. The store is often very messy. Things seem to be all over the place and almost whey time I have been here I never find what I am looking for even when the app says a product is in stock and where it is located. It is the absolute worst when you go into the store on a day they are stocking. They have boxes everywhere blocking off aisles and merchandise and the employees are not happy to be interrupted for help. read more

This Target overall is great! The Target employees on the floor are always very helpful. The people who direct the lines are very sweet. What I had a big issue with was the woman working (around 8-8:30pm, December 18th) at the food stand inside of your Target. She was VERY rude. I am 38 weeks pregnant, went to get myself a drink. Went to the counter and she didn't even look me in the eye or say can I help you. I asked her for a lemonade and she rudely replied "we don't have that." I asked her for a few other things and she said "we don't have that" over and over. Then when I finally got my drink, she told the customers behind me "I am shutting the lights off because I am done, I can help you guys though but that's it". My mom and I were dumbfounded and really hope she never treats other customers like that again. I was very upset. Especially to a pregnant girl! Wow. She was blonde, blue eyes, younger. I knew I took a chance by coming here but I did not imagine how bad it could be. An older cashier was especially rude to me and other customers, yelling at them to get out of her line. Went to the target mobile today to add a line to my cell service. They guy was friendly, but it seemed understaffed and he was kind of juggling around customers. I got my phone squared away but when I logged into my att app it showed that instead of adding a line to my plan he signed me up for a whole new 2nd wireless plan. What a nightmare! read more

I love Target, I mean who doesn't. I come here quite often since ai use to live in the area and know where items are. The store generally always has items I need in stock. Employees are super friendly and are usually always nice to offer help when walking around. The store is quite messy though. The promo isle is pretty messy after Christmas day so what expected. This location has a Starbucks which is usually pretty alright. This location also has self checkouts so that is another reason I would come to this location over others. Closest target in the area since they closed Eastland. I don't mind it during the week but the return line on the weekend was way too long. Wish they had the old school derive desk, but anyone can join the line for returns or sales. Good early during the week but spent way too much time there for a return on the weekend. Only one person taking returns and line went past the dollar section. read more

The prices are quite high for items that are normally sold at a lower price at Meijer or Wal-Mart. The product selection is acceptable, but not the best although it depends on what you are looking for. I do like Target's apparel department better than Meijer and Wal-Mart because their line of products seem different but more refined. The Champion athletic wear is also quite affordable. I often stop by Target just for men's apparel. The parking isn't the best, but their customer service is quite good with most returns. read more

Wednesday May 6, 2020 I like many others, enjoy shopping with Target both in store and online shipping, you always know what to expect. Our household consists of senior occupants with underlying health conditions and we are grateful for the opportunity to take advantage of curbside pick up without personal contact given the current health emergency. I placed an order with our local Clinton Point Target for curbside pick up. We located and pulled into the designated parking spot. No phone number listed anywhere for public view, I made two separate attempts to reach the service desk which continued to ring minimum of 20 times only to be disconnected. During my attempts to reach the service desk my husband and I observed 3 different cars pull in pick up their orders and drive away. The Target associate delivering curbside orders approached the passenger window and I leaned over my husband to give the associate my last name, he paused then headed back to the store. I soon realized that I should not have assumed that he acknowledged my name and was about to deliver my order as he continued to assist other customers who pulled in behind us. I tapped the horn and he stepped up to the drivers side and when asked why he was not assisting us he responded, you will not roll down you window. Given the pandemic we are all working through we have underlying conditions and utilize curbside pick up without personal contact. He threw his hands in the air as he walked away and said "oh man" we both could hear very well through the window, I then requested he cancel the order. As I pulled away my frustration had gotten the best of me, I pulled over to a less congested area on the mall property and placed another call selected the prompt which connected me with Human Resources. I spoke with Angie who identified herself as the manager on duty. After explaining my experience she was apologetic and acknowledged with long lines and minimal staff the phones disconnect automatically. She listened as I explained our experience and knew the associate scheduled offering another apology. Angie asked if your order is still available, I will have another associate bring it to your car with a Target gift card for your inconvenience. I responded that I would appreciate picking up my order and please a gift card is not necessary, I am not looking for anything but good service and picking up my order. We circled the lot pulled back into a curbside spot and were greeted by a very nice associate Angelica wearing a face mask but no gloves, who we asked just place the order in the trunk along with the receipt. To our surprise she proceeded to open the rear driver side door along with my feeble attempt to put on my face mask I turned my head around to find I am staring down a retail scanner approximately 6 inches from my face asking to scan a bar code that do not have. When you review the email that advises your order is ready for pickup, it reads "no contact pick up, no signature required". My last Target experience merchandise was simply placed in the trunk with my drivers license pressed to the window. I asked Angelica to cancel our order and credit our account. Upon arriving home I contacted the store and spoke with Angie explaining this new debacle, she again apologized for our experience with no additional attempt to resolve this unfortunate and possible dangerous situation. We would have hoped given the circumstances and 2 failed attempts, Angie would have offered to have our merchandise delivered. In closing very disappointed in Targets lack of interest in the senior community and well being. read more

When it came to be my turn she couldn't have been more cold. She told me in an extremely condescending voice that I could put my basket away myself. I like this target. It's normally pretty clean, has stock and the lines are quick. But when those lines are long it takes FOREVER. I don't shop here during peak times, that's for sure. But they have a good selection. The cartwheel doesn't get signal in half the store and it's hard to scan items. read more

Target is my preferred store when it comes to stuff besides groceries. I've bought groceries there a couple times and never again! I needed milk, I bought milk, it was spoiled! EW! It was expired I think it had been left out too long. Besides this one experience I've always had good friendly service. For the most part it's easy to find people for help. STAY AWAY!!!!If could give zero stars I would. I have never in my life had such a bad experience with my order pick up. I paid for a pack n play online for my baby spent 250 dollars on it and had it shipped to store. It was charged to my credit card and two weeks had gone by since I ordered and still no news on my pack n play. I called the 1800 customer service number and they said it was there and I could go pick up at the store. When I get there they say they have no knowledge of my order and they can't find it in the system. I'm on the phone with customer service again and they said there was an error with my order and it never went through yet it had already been removed from my card! There was no way for me to get my order even tho the product I wanted was right on my cart so they said I had to reorder it and they would cancel that order and place another one. They said I could pick up in an hour. I go back that same day and when I get there it's the same thing all over again! They can't find my new order again! This time I'm literally sobbing in store because I don't know what to do. My card was charged twice for a product I never received. I asked for a manager and they didn't want to get me one no matter how many times I asked. They offered nothing for having me crying and running around back and forth from target to target. I am giving this review two stars instead of one because my problem was mostly with target.com, but the store didn't help. I ordered a Kindle Fire from Target.com on 12//30/16 to be delivered to the store and was informed it would arrive on 1/10/17. When I still didn't have it my 1/11/17, I called to find out when I might expect and was told "it looks like it hasn't been delivered." Duh. When I asked for details as to where it was and when I might expect to receive it, the operator had no information for me. I then received an e-mail saying I would have it by 1/15/17. When it still hadn't arrived, I called target.com back and was told that since that was the scheduled delivery date, I would have to wait two more days to "see whether it was returned to them" before they could look into it further. Not satisfied with that answer, I went up to the Clinton Twp. store, and asked the clerk if he could help me. He said did you call Target.com? When I told him yes and what I learned (hadn't learned) there, he looked at me like "what do you want me to do about it?" He confirmed it wasn't in the store, shrugged his shoulders and moved on to the next customer. After calling target.com back and asking for a supervisor, she was able to determine that the Kindle had been stolen at the dock of the Clinton Township store. Couldn't somebody have figured that out and advised me sooner. The supervisor then was unable to resubmit the order and said she had to turn it over to another department and that I would hear from them in two days. Two more days?! I never heard from them, but only received an e-mail telling me my order had been cancelled. Terrible experience!!!! Never again. read more
