I was in this store last week when they had a deal if you bought $50. of groceries, you received a $10. gift card. At the end of my order, the discount did not come up. The cashier was a little puzzled, but then realized that I had alcohol in my order. I was unaware that the $50 did not include alcohol. The cashier called over a supervisor, who immediately gave me the $10 off (this time), without hesitation. (And a smile!) Both the cashier and the supervisor were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated there consideration. Then today I was there again when the customer in front of us was purchasing a stick vacuum and she hesitated to buy at the price. She and the cashier were searching their phones for comparison pricing, when I told her that the vac was $84.99 at Kohls the day before. The cashier looked it up and happily got the price change for her. Another happy customer!! I think Target has really "raised their game" on customer service! I'm very Happy and felt like the lady in "Miracle on 34th Street" who was shopping at Macys and Santa sent her to Gimbels for an item that Macys didn't carry! read more

Tonight's the last night i ever go to this target. It's very understaffed and the people that do work here are either extreamly old and work very slow (which is fine but have them work the mornings when it's not as busy) or young and have nasty attitudes. They never have enough registers open, so its always a 20 minute wait to get rung up whether you have 1 item or 50. It is also very messy and unorganized. Even tho this target is pretty close to me, i would much rather drive a little further to a better and cleaner one. read more

Hard to find stuff in the store. You can't find someone for help and then when you do there are 3 workers in the same isle. When I went to check out the cashier an older woman didn't even look at me or say hi. She did not have a name tag on either. Then when she gave me my recipe she didn't say thank you or anything. I found myself saying thank you and she didn't even respond. She is old enough to know better. (48-52) years old. read more

Target - My dog Miley! - Department Stores Near Me - Bay Shore, New York

This target sucks and there very disrespectful, The whole store is unorganized , workers never help you and when you finally find one to help you they have no idea what there doing. I strongly recommend not going to this target or any target at all. Automotive department is terrible and needs to be upgraded or something. read more

I love Target!! Unfortunately, lately the Bay Shore Target never seem to have much on the shelves. It wasn't always this way, I started noticing the lack of inventory after the recent renovations. I mean basic items like dental floss, lotions, facial washes. What's up with this? Beautiful new look to the store though, inside and out. read more

This target is absolutely disgusting now. it's so messy, the workers are always no where to be found, although they do have uncovered security around that literally follow you it's so uncomfortable. My boyfriend and i were doing house shopping and not only did he follow us when he got a chance but there were other people that he was on their ass and you can just tell they knew. One, if they're going to be "undercover" in regular clothes, try not to make people feel harassed by you. One specific white male I understand you're supposed to be on look out but not follow people around and stare at every move SEVERAL customers make. This target is an absolute disaster they need to get their shit together. read more

I feel Target replaces K-Mart to a certain point. Their prices are affordable and the goods are the tops. But, certain Credit Card Companies do not trust Target as far as putting items on credit. Anyway, I love shopping here and there is a Starbucks in the store if you need a coffee break from shopping. read more

Don't waste your time shopping here if you need something that an employee will have to actually get for you. I stopped at this Target to pick up some Prilosec, which is usually just sitting on a shelf ready to go everywhere else, except for here apparently. They have it under lock and key for whatever reason. Ok, no biggie, right? I figure I will ask at the pharmacy counter for assistance. I wait on that line onlyl to be told that they don't have the key. I am supposed to find an employee in the store and ask them to do it. So I finish the rest of my shopping and have everything in my cart ready to go except what I actually need. I walked up front and asked the nice girl working the self checkout for help bc she is the only employee I see in that general area. She radios for someone to come and assist me. No one comes. So then she asks two guys in plain clothes who apparently also work there to radio for assistance as well and I see them do it. So I go to wait by the lock box for someone to come. After waiting there for 20 minutes I gave up. What a waste of time. I left my cart full of merchandise I was going to purchase right there in the aisle and walked over to Rite Aid where I was able to get what I needed. Very sad that during peak holiday time, none of the people with a key to open a lock box could be bothered to come and assist. read more

Terrible service. There is only 3 registers open and they are moving incredibly slow. The self checkout line is crazy long as well. I had one item and i stood on line for 20 mins and didnt move. I saw a bunch of employees in the aisles when i was shopping. If there is a huge line they should call for assistance. Not the first time with location. read more

The layout in this store was really annoying. Tons of clothing but seemed to lacking home items. Also a Starbucks in here and Pizza Hut Express. read more

I love target. Literally minutes away from my residence. It's better then walmart and kmart to an extent. Only thing is that theres always like 3 registers open out of the 20 lanes that they have Not what I want to see especially at this time of year. I like how they have added the self checkout lanes at the front of the store! A lot easier for those who just stop by to pickup a few items. Otherwise mainly my go to store for everything!!! I had someone apply since they needed a job and they were sent an email stating they couldnt provide them eith a position, but wait?!? What about more opened lanes?!? I'm frazzled but anywho... read more

No complaints whatsoever. Convenient when you need to grab something late because most other places close by 10pm.

When Target Bay Shore first re-did their store and included well priced food items, I was thrilled. Wow. The store was clean, the employees polite. What a difference. However, those inexpensive products have increased in price, the store is more crowded and the lines at the checkout are longer than ever. Today I tried to find out if they will no longer be carrying the Iams Dog Food I always buy, or used to buy in their store. No one knew. No one would call the Farmingdale store to find out if they carried it. The place was littered with paper, the employees were bored. I'm not going back. read more

Very friendly service, - great, professional, helpful pharmacy - and Starbucks - opens at 8am - photo department , too

This target is always well stocked and items are added to the shelf's on the dates they should I love it and there service its fantastic.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I purchased the Nintendo Switch for my daughter for christmas on October 26th. I asked the sales person if I could return in after Christmas if it doesn't work and he said "YES". I told him specifically it was a christmas gift before purchasing. It's a $410.00 system because I bought the bundle. About 2 weeks later, I was going through my receipts and noticed that on my receipt it had return by November 26, 2017. So I went back to Target to speak to a manager to make sure that I could return it after Christmas. He said "NO" electronics have to be returned within 1 months time. I explained that I would have to return it then by 11/26 and buy it again at that same time which would bring me to December 26th for me to return it. THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS!!! Or I can return it any day leading up to 11/26 and then again return it in December to have the return date in January. Target is basically making their customers go back and forth buying and returning. What happened to buying a product for the holidays as a gift and having a longer return date? According to Target's manager, it's not on electronics!! Had I known that from the beginning, I would have not purchased it when I did. I told the Manager he needs to speak with the staff to make sure they are on the same page with returns. SO NOT HAPPY!!!! read more
