I was at the target store in Baxter Minnesota today and couldn't believe what happened. I had a motor cart because I have disability problems..I got my prescriptions and wanted to shop and my battery in my cart was going dead...I asked three different associates to help me and none of them would help me so I had to keep turning it off and on to make it to the front ..when I got it to the front I told a associate it needed to be charged and he just walked away from me ...I have never been treated so poorly before in any store...very sad ..not sure if I will Ever go back and will tell everyone I know what happened to me. read more

I do NOT recommend this target to any one of color. People of color from the cities stop by a target there if you come up north. Up at Craguns for a retreat and had to make a target run. Let's start off with how rude the target staff was....said "Hi" to everyone who was non-colored and when my husband and I continued walking in, no hello and smiles from greeting changed to looking away. Went a second time because what I bought didn't work, hoping that this time would be different. NOPE! Went to guest service to return my item and no hello, showed my receipt and the cashier didn't believe me that the item was in good condition, when tags were still on and never worn. I am not entitled to people saying hello to me but at least have some good customer service...Do I want to say Baxter Target is racist? Maybe? But what I do know is that BAXTER Target needs to work on customer service towards people of color. I walked away feeling diminish of myself, my own color and felt like I wasn't good enough. I'm a Target girl! Love how you can be in another town/city, and you still know the general aisle/section of the store to go to. Thank you Target mgmt! This store was neat, clean, organized... and pretty busy! They had plenty of front register clerks ready to help us bulls-eye shoppers! read more

Nice store in the Brainerd/Baxter area. Event grocery section though not quite the assortment that you would see in stores closer to the Twin Cities. Store is a nice size, though the checkouts can be a bit frustrating as they are the old school 2-deep style... Not very convenient for folks buying groceries, especially if you have kids accompanying you. read more

I've never been treated so poorly in my life. I sat on a stool on Christmas Eve. for nearly 6 hrs. only to be told I didn't qualify for 'the deal' on the google phone. OK, I get it, but why not tell me in the 1st 10 minutes & why tell me that Target doesn't care about my business anyhow. When I was checking out, my credit card was already in pin pad so employee was not able to run an electronic coupon I had received. She suggested I could have it taken care of at customer service. The two women at customer service were so helpful, taking extra steps to show me how to load coupon on my Target App so that I could use it today. They went over and above! read more

Quite possibly the nicest Target I have ever been to. Newly remodeled in to a "super" Target, it is huge and very well lit. Great layout. Plus, it looks all "Up North" on the outside!! read more

Better than your average bullseye. Very nice store and staff to grab what you might of forgot while up north.

This target was much like any other and the particular day I visited, it was terribly packed.
