I've never had food like this. The flavours, the presentation, the textures, it all caught me by surprise. I mean sure it's tacos, cuban poutine, and the likes but there's such a unique twist to them that I was enchanted. The portions were a bit small so perfect for a 5a7 or for tapas with friends. It's not really a sit down and have a long dinner kinda place. I didn't have a reservation so I sat at the bar with my boyfriend and it was ok but not the best seat in the house. It gets more hectic at the bar. I didn't order a drink but my boyfriend got a light blonde beer and he said it was good. I highly recommend this place. Such a cool and funky vibe with some great food to share.

The condiments were a little lighter and different, and no tortillas were served. The amount of rice and beans was a lot smaller than usual too. We chose Bocadillo because it seemed to have good ambiance (it was full of people finishing their dinners). we ordered the fromage tacanhos and we immediately looked at each other because they were delicious. We just wanted to order more... after that, we chose a vegetarian plate and the Bistro de Pollo that was the best arepa I have ever had in my life! I wasn't a fan of arepas or at least i thought (by my experience in Caracas)... We were perplexed by the quality of the food and the simpathy they had although it was almost closing time. Even though the patty was thick, it was still moist and juicy. The bacon had a bite to it which I prefer, the fried egg adding body and the avocado adding creaminess. To top off, a burger of this size needed buns with integrity and strength, and these definitely provided, and had been toasted as well. I thought the fries could've used a bit less time in the frier, but all in all a great option for a burger. Like others have said here, the outside with the takeout window makes it seem smaller than it is, but there's plenty of seating inside. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. Definitely coming back for the arepas.

I had a small one to share. The fish ceviche was sooo good. The freshly grounded black peppercorns and the lemon juice make the dish so fresh. And the chips were crunchy. Pupusa is new to me. I liked it. From the picture you can't tell it has filling inside. The fried pork was ok, and it would be better if with some spicy sauce. I would trade it for some tacos next time.
