Oh my gosh ! I recently gave a bridal shower for my granddaughter, Cori. I had previously been to an outdoor party where Taquizas Jimenez had catered the luncheon. The food was beyond excellent and the chef was wonderful. Five types of meat for tacos (prepared on-site), quesadillas and a myriad of condiments for the tacos, a fruit platter, chips and guacamole and aquas frescas. This was a large bridal shower and all the guests were commenting how good the food was. Most of them wanted their business card. I will have Taquizas Jimenez come again for my next event. I highly recommend them. Thank you Juliana, Jose and Samantha !! read more

I was extremely happy with Taquizas Jimenez for my son's grad party yesterday. Jose and Diego were prompt, professional, and very service oriented. The food was excellent. Their display was excellent, and their pricing was reasonable. I'd certainly use them again, and my daughter's already asking because she graduates next year:) read more

La comida estaba increíble! Tenían una gran variedad de salsas! Un servicio excelente! Unos caballeros súper amables!

We just hosted an event with Taquizas Jimenez this past weekend. Sebastian and several of his team manned two cooking stations to ensure that our guest did not have to wait long for their tacos. If you have a larger party, I highly suggest having the 2nd cooking station and extra staff. It makes for a nicer experience for your guests and you get your food a lot quicker. The taste of the meats by themselves is good. I like this because then everything else that you add to the taco, onions, cilantro, lime, salsas, etc all add to the base flavors. Beans and rice were solid and tasty as well. We had horchata, pineapple, and cucumber lime (without chia seeds) agua frescas. The team brought nice white serving bowls to place all of our salsas and accompaniments in so that we could display them along the counter for our guest to use. Their team is very accommodating, friendly, fast, and helpful. If you're looking for a good Mexican food / taco vendor, you should give Taquizas Jimenez a try! read more

For all my special occasions, my go to catering is Taquizas Jimenez. Everyone enjoys the delicious tacos, especially the shrimp tacos & not to mention his salsa bar. We've been working with Taquiza Jimenez for the past year and a half, and we continue to invite them back for our work events (we've even brought them out to Temecula =P). Their food and service are consistently outstanding. The Tsunami tacos are a personal favorite, but everything they serve is delicious. We also truly appreciate how easy they are to communicate with. Sebastian, Juliana, and the entire catering team are attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. We highly recommend them and look forward to having them back again to share their amazing food. read more

I would highly recommend Taquizas Jimenez. We used them for a family event on the weekend. They were very clean and attentive to all of us.

The best taquizas in OC! They are my go-to for all my events and have been using them for several years. Sebastián and his team are quick to get back to you and confirm your event. Not only is their service top tier but their tacos are THE BEST! From a variety of meat selections to include shrimp and fish for the pescatarians or sea food lovers, to salsa bar, and aguas frescas. His team comes ahead of time and cooks the meat at your location so its fresh, warm and ready to serve at your desired time. Taquizas Jimenez is the only one I trust with great food, great service, and great prices. You and all your guests will be satisfied, GUARANTEED! read more

We were very pleased with the service we received from Taquizas Jimenez for my son and his fiancé's wedding shower. Yvette assisted us to set everything up. She was detailed and extremely customer service oriented besides being genuinely kind. She is definitely an asset to the company. The food was fresh, the presentation was nice and they even arrived and were set up before we got there to set up! The servers were happy to serve our guests and made sure the bride and groom to be were attended to. I would not hesitate to use them again for a future event. read more

We have had numerous taco guys for events at our home and I will tell you none of them came close to Taquerias Jimenez. They were one time, very professional and the food was the BEST. We had a Chef from the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas as a guest , and he said they were the best tacos he has ever had. I have to agree with him. I have no hesitation in recommending them. read more

We've had several catered taco stands, but Taquizas Jimenez has probably been the best one we've had! One of the boys on our baseball team hosted a birthday party and the food offered was amazingly delicious, hot, and there were just SO many options. Not just an extensive meat option, but also condiments and freshly made salsas. The pork belly and queso chorizo was the fan favorite. The two guys were super friendly and quick. Their standard package offers 5 meat offerings which includes shrimp. We are definitely keeping their info to cater our next party! read more

Taquizas Jimenez catered our daughter's high school graduation party and so many people said they were the BEST TACOS they had ever had!!! This company stands out as far as going above and beyond in the taco cart catering experience. We went to 5 graduation parties this year all with different taco companies, which further proved, Taquizas Jimenez shines above then all in a league of their own! Why? 1. Presentation - the elegance of their set-up and the number of salsas (from mild to wild) is SUPER impressive (and yummy!!) Usually it's a couple of bowls of salsa thrown on a messy table. NOT with Taquizas Jimenez! The salsa table was SO beautiful and made it feel special! 2. Stellar Quality - delicious tacos AND fun, unique "specialty tacos!" So fun to have some different options!!! 3. Ease of Coordination - they were super responsive, easy to book with, easy to contact with questions, and very customer service oriented. 4. CUSTOMER SERVICE - at the event, the chef noticed I hadn't eaten yet because I was too busy hosting and chatting - and took it upon himself to make me a plate and deliver it to me without me even asking!!!!! How AMAZING is this?! They were absolutely delightful to work with. I will never use another taco company again because this one is hands down the BEST!!!! Thank you for making our event so special!!!! read more

I met these guys at our company golf tournament, and it was amazing! The food and customer service was fantastic, and everyone raved about the crispy cheesy tacos. I will definitely be using them again for other events. Thank you, guys! read more

Good experience first time, but missed the mark this go around. I've used them for my engagement and now my wife's baby shower. The first experience was fantastic, but ran i to a problem that soured my experience. I had agreed on 3 hours of taco service understanding that I was going to pay for the extra hour. 20 minutes into what was supposed to be the third hour I found out they had shut down, putting away food and turning away my guests. Disappointing, considering the good service I had the first time. Glad I had steaks and kabobs ready (was going to use them for the tardy guests) read more

I LOVED these guys!! They catered a party i went to. The service was amazing and the food was EVEN better. Highly recommend .

We had Taquizas Jimenez come do a work event for 350 people and they were outstanding. They were on time, friendly and hard working. The food was fantastic and service was impeccable. read more

Taquizas Jimenez did the food for a baby shower on May 4th. They showed up 1.5 hours ahead of time to set up and cook the most delicious tacos. Unlimited tacos for 2 hours. And fresh guacamole made on the premises, not ahead of time. We definitely recommend them and will use this company again. read more

Taquizas Jimenez was recommended to me by a friend. I called to set up catering service for a friend's birthday party (about 50 people), and they were wonderful! Everyone was extremely professional and kind, and easy to work with. And the food was delicious! Lots of different protein options and salsas. I would highly recommend! read more

Best ever! No one can stop talking about how good this food is and the party is still going on!

Booked for our sons birthday last weekend and found them from another friend referral. They had great service, on time, and they even helped me move some tables so our guests can get a proper open floor space for their setup! The chefs were so kind, amazing food and many of my party guests complimented the food how great it was ! Not your average "taco man" food was amazing! 5 stars ! If I could give a 10, I would ! read more

Great tasting authentic tacos with lots of options. Shrimp, chicken, steak, el pastor, chorizo. With lots of trimmings and 6 or more hot sauces. We have used them for multiple family dinners and parties. The food is always fresh and tasty. They also present themselves very well. read more

Amazing! I have tried several Taco services. These guys blew them all away. Everyone left raving about the tacos!!!

100% the best tacos I've ever had. I was gonna order some carne asada and the owner suggested I try the "tsunami" and the "tornado". I said why not and have no regret. Appreciate the owner for his recommendation and love he puts in the food! read more

Taquizas Jimenez - Tsunami!! Carne Asada and shrimp - Caterers Near Me

Unfortunately, there is a New Owner Catherine that doesn't know the meaning of customer service and has an attitude to match. My wife used Taquizas Jimenez approx 20+ times a year for many years under the previous owner Sebastian and it was because of Him that she referred him to me. I booked Taquizas Jimenez for several of my larger clients in the past year which totals approx 25 bookings between my wife and I. I have 3 events coming in the next several weeks and emailed Catherine with dates and a copy of my previous invoice and asked to confirm my pricing of $13.50 per person. The reply was "Our prices have changed due to covid and gas prices. Our new prices are $16.95 plus taxes and travel fee." I asked if this applied to all number of groups large or small, no reply. Previous Pricing Min group size 30 $16.50 Larger Group size 80 $13.50 Travel fee $65 New Pricing Any size and Any Number of Bookings $16.50 Travel Fee $200 I called and Catherine proceeded to lecture me on the cost gas and food and said her employees were refusing to come to work unless she paid them more and used some derogatory words referring to her help. I asked her to have the owner call me and she said she was the owner. I asked her to have Sebastian contact me as I know he would recognize my wife and I having booked 25+ dates the previous year and she refused. Catherine again proceeded to lecture me about her costs and that she was a business owner that could not give things away. I used Yelp to find 20 Taco Catering Companies with pricing between $7.14 & $12.14 per person all with 5 Star Ratings. I asked her to match a price for the higher group number and she replied, "I understand you have a budget but I also have a company to run also with your behavior and lack of professionalism with all do respect I don't need your business." This for asking to match a price on a large group from a returning client that booked 25+ dates with them the previous year? If you're looking for a Taco Catering Company, do yourself a favor and stir clear of Taquizas Jimenez as you will have to deal with Catherine and her high costs and attitude. read more

These taco people were hands down the best taco cateringing company I had them cater my new years eve party I have had parties in the past and have had several taco caters but in all honesty this one was by far the best they were evening willing to travel all the way from orange county to san jacinto to cater my event with no hesitation. I can't say enough kind words about the talents of Sebastian and Wendy, the duo behind Taquizas Jimenez. I've been working with Sebastian for probably over 10+ years for my most important events, including my wedding shower and engagement party, and he has only impressed me and upped his game each time. Today I hired him to serve 250 people at a huge work event and all day my co-workers asked me where I found this genius behind the grill and they raved about his tacos...especially the chori-queso and the "CBC" (chicken, bacon, cheese). While others will just serve up chicken, carne asada and carnitas, Sebastian raises the bar and comes up with gourmet level ideas for his food. It is absolutely delicious! Enough about his food though, it speaks for itself. This man is also one of the most generous and gracious people I've met. He and his business partner, Wendy, worked hard to help me ensure that we could feed everyone at this big event and still stay within the budget I was given. They are the type of people you want to build a relationship with because their level of customer service is the only thing that rivals their incredible food. I love these guys and can't wait to bring them back to my next event!!! read more
