Craving for nachos, ended up here. Easy ordering with the cook then then you pay the cashier. Had the chicken nachos. More chicken than chips, it would've been better if the chicken was actually seasoned instead of just plain shredded chicken. I like my nachos soggy so yes it definitely was soggy but it not enough chips. Prices are very affordable. Will come back to try the burritos next.

I had a super quesadilla with chile verde. It was tasty! The service was fast though a little inefficient - I repeated my order three times, twice to the cook & once to the cashier. No biggie. The restaurant was clean and had lots of sunlight. And it's right around the corner from Tucker's Ice Cream! If you want to have a nice siesta, eat at both & enjoy your nap! ;)

Service is great! The guy prepping the burritos was super professional and super nice. Gave me a huge piece of chicharrones while i was waiting. It was mesmerizing watching the master at work. Very chill atmosphere. Everything was clean (maybe too clean lol). Didn't use the restroom.

Favorite taqueria in town! Super burrito: Spinach tortilla, black beans, chicharrones, and extra chile salsa verde. Extra brown. And a Mexican Cola. I love the entire team here! Thank you for always making me feel welcomed and at home. Love the new decor and setup. It's very lively but most of all I appreciate the grand hospitality. Love you all!!!

When I lived in Alameda back in the '90's, this was my go to taqueria. Stopped in today for a super taco and it's still the best! Super clean, friendly staff and the best food. In addition, the street out front is now blocked off and there are tables to eat outside. Love it!

Best taqueria on Alameda!! I got a carnitas super burrito and with tax it was only $13.50. It was also really big!! You'd have to be pretty hungry to be able to finish it. Loved that the proportion of everything was even throughout and that they grilled the outside of the burrito. The super comes with fresh guacamole, sour cream, salsa verde, pico de gallo, pinto beans, rice, and cheese. Also everyone should works here is really nice!

WOW! Best beef burrito I have had in awhile! In the last month or so, I've been trying mexican food trucks in the Fruitvale area, and none of them can match this Beef Regular Burrito from "Taqueria Mi Burrito" in Alameda. It was Wednesday, just before 12 noon, and I just happen to be walking by and notice "Taqueria Mi Burrito" on Alameda Ave. I have heard about this place, and it's about time I try it. So I went in, looked over the menu, and ordered a Regular Beef Burrito w/ Green Sauce. BTW, you need to upgrade your menu board to handle prices above $9.99. A Reg Burrito is $10.50. not $1.05. Someday, someone will get confused and make a big deal out of it. So I take my beef burrito home. I weigh it, measure it, and slice it open. It's pretty much the same in weight (20-oz) and length (8-9 inches) as other places. What's different is the filling.....lots of beef. Beef, rice, beans and salsa. Good, tasty, and easy to eat. A touch of heat to grab your attention. All those 5-star Yelp reviews are legit! This is great food, prepared by a great restaurant! The restaurant has a spacious interior, with some small tables. There's an outdoor dining area in the street, and that's why Alameda Ave is blocked off. There's a public parking lot right next door, and meter spots on the street. Located on Alameda Ave between Park St & Oak St. Welcome to The City of Alameda, and Support Local Business!

Super taco, guacamole, beans and chips. Delicious!

Delicious Chicken Super Tacos! So is the guacamole, pico de gallo and chips. Also had the dinner plate with chicken, rice and beans , plus a chicken tostada. Yummy! Great service and good prices. We've been here a few times and consistently delicious. Can't wait to go back!

This is a quaint place that is not only spotless, but easy to follow menu! Very much like a cafe! The staff is extremely polite and all of them are helpful and happy! The cook came up and took my order then went to the back and began to make my nachos! The person at the register was busy and still smiling! The tables were small and great for eating and shareables, which the nachos we shared suited just fine! I strongly recommend for a quick bite that will fill you up! Lots of street parking and a lot of side parking lots. Very clean restroom.

Best burrito in town and the best price. Worth the search for a parking spot. Picnic tables right outside the door or eat inside the shop.

A cold, unheated tortilla wrapping a handful of mediocre ingredients. I regret this meal. There are better burritos a stone's throw away.

The store front seems like it's closed but it's not. There is just not inside dining. You order at the window and get your food on the other side. Good customer service and they're bilingual! Came by and got some enchiladas. I'm accustomed to eating red enchiladas but their chicken enchiladas are served with green sauce. Do they test the same as what I grew up eating... no. They have their own flavor. However! It's so good! It's the closest I've gotten to authentic and I will 100% be back. I was so satisfied after the first bite. Cleaned the whole plate!

I purchased nachos and to my surprise the nachos had NO CHEESE. I was then told that I ordered the wrong nachos ........ in what world does nachos have no cheese? The quite literal definition of nachos are chips with melted cheese !!!! I asked for my food to be properly remade and she told me she RUDELY told me all she could do was pour cheese on top . Any authentic Mexican food spot would never put hot cheese on top of cold toppings. I continued to ask questions trying to make sense of their ridiculous policy and she not only gave no clear answers she was RUDE & disrespectful, almost even confrontational. I explained to her that not only were my nachos cheese less but the chips and meat I was served were TERRIBLE . The chips were stale , and the meat lacked flavor (ground beef) . BEWARE OF THIS PLACE. If you don't like your overpriced food or even if it's made improperly, you are stuck with it. They used to have much better integrity. However, at this rate I can see them going downhill FAST. I posted about my experience on social media and the amount of responses I received with similar experiences were massive ! DONT GO HERE ! There are much better Mexican restaurants /trucks all around the city of Oakland . Save your Mexican food cravings for them !

Best tacos ever!!!…read more I have had a lot of tacos in my life, this is the best. I can't stop dreaming about this place since I had it and I can't wait to go back. Card accepted at this location. Small parking lot. Outdoor patio seating. Quick service.

But since then and nowadays they have tougher competition that I prefer to go to over them and recently started to develop a hate and love relationship here. It used to be my die hard go to taco truck. This truck for me makes delicious carnitas burritos and pollo tacos. And a sleeper is the al pastor burrito and suadero tacos. That al pastor isn't made from the trompo but the seasoning and juiciness of their version in the burrito is what makes it one of the best burrito options on there if you haven't tried it. Carnitas burritos is super delicious because you get that nice crispiness of the fried tender pork with the rice, cheese and sour cream. I like to ask for onions, cilantro and tomato in mines for variety and freshness to cut the heaviness of the fats and dairy. Tacos I normally would get or recommend is the Carnitas, Pollo, Cabeza, Suadero, and Asada. Carnitas are as delicious as explained with the burrito. Pollo or known as chicken tacos are super tender and juicy. It's also very flavorful, and one of my favorite chicken tacos to get here because most places don't make chicken very well and are usually very dry. The cabeza is super tender and a great option. Suadero just like the asada is just a better version of the asada cut. It's packed with more flavor and seasoning than the asada and slightly more tender which is why I prefer it to the regular steak. I tend to find the asada more dry and sometimes tough. Recently the pricing doesn't reflect on the fairness of the portion size. $4 tacos but the meats aren't as packed. Felt like they started to skimp because of rising costs but has been happening before then. $15 burrito but the sizing isn't as filling as it used to be. I started to see more rice than meat. They've also started to be very stingy with a huge attitude especially the gentleman that works on the pick up station when asking for extra pickled veggies, limes and salsa. And it happens every time for the past several years now. For example he gave me 2 limes, 4 pieces of sliced pickled carrots, 2 slices of pickled jalapenos, 3 radishes, and 1 rojo salsa for an order of a super burrito and 7 tacos. When I asked for extras the gentleman gave me an attitude and said he already did and won't give more. Only reason I still go here is because it's close to home and if my favorite spots for tacos are closed for the night.

Very generous portion for the price, five dollars per taco and they were big. 5 stars on that. Nice little salsa bar, all of the sauces were good and fresh. All you can eat chips. Nice! The lady taking our order was nice. I am going to ding them a star on the ambience. It was freezing in there and they really could do more with the decor, but whatever, it's a taqueria, not fine dining. There are only four tables so not a lot of places to sit. I came back to try their burritos. They were fine. Everyone in my group ate them. The vegetarian one was kind of slimy - must have had cactus in it which I hate and failed to notice on the menu. Overall, solid taqueria choice on the east end. I went back and took pictures of the menu because they don't have a website and there are no current menu pictures for this place.

I'd read other reviews saying they were good, and that CRT made their own chips and had good portions. So we tried it when we were nearby. It was a "cheap" ($17) dinner fail. The chips were good. The portion was pretty good, but the nachos were bad. The salsa, separately, was also bad. You picked from tasteless pico de guyo (sp?) or overly hot salsa. No in between. Mouth on fire vs tasteless tomato chunks. The chicken was really bad. Was it old, or just NOT my flavor? Hard to tell the guacamole was thin and too lime-y. I almost wondered if it was from Costco. Cheese was also not good. We had also just exercised, and we were really hungry. This should have tasted good based on our previous exercise. But nope. I would bear loud bad music on repeat and too-bright fluorescent lights if the food was good. But you couldn't get me to go back to CRT ever again. :(
