    Every day special. Plus onions.

Great TexMex food. Their daily special is one beef taco, rice and beans and two enchiladas of your choice. Chicken, beef or cheese. The cheese is real cheddar and not American. The real stand out is their salsa and their refried beans. The beans were really good. They must use lard or bacon grease. The beef taco was a little under-seasoned, but with the addition of the guacamole and salsa, all was good.

Small town mom & pop Mexican establishment. Reasons to go: 1) Great service. 2) Great local tex-mex food 3) Great local prices 4) It is one of the few establishments in Cameron that has kept the same owners and the majority of their staff for over 3 years. They are successful in a small town with a challenging economy. That accomplishment deserves a medal. Reasons to avoid: 1) Small town attitude from the other patrons.

Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The chips & salsa are the best part. The enchiladas were good in that they had cheddar cheese instead of the typical American cheese you usually find in this part of Texas, but the gravy tasted a bit off. Anyway, I'd eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Great homemade chips, salsa, and queso! Enjoyed enchiladas, tacos, and pork chops with our visit. Good iced tea too.

Good food and friendly staff. A little small (cramped) but worth the effort. Good menu selection.

We stumbled on this place as we were driving through Cameron. Awesome breakfast. Best chiliquiles we have ever had.

I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was. I travel a lot for work and try to hit up local places as much as I can. This one did not disappoint. It's got the nostalgic old small town feel I love. The ambiance was nice all around. Clean, comfortable, and friendly folks all around. I look forward to my next visit!

One of my favorite parts was honestly the homemade chips and the salsa- the salsa has a little kick to it but it's the perfect amount. My husband had the carne guisada and enjoyed it- the kids had the cheese enchiladas and devoured it- they devoured the queso too- queso was commented on as the best queso- it was decent, nothing special to me as a huge queso lover. It's simply a melted jalepeno cheese they get and the bowl cost around $11. I got one of the dinner meals, i'm forgetting the name- it was plenty big- the chicken enchilada was the best part so probably would just get that next time. Excellent customer service- the owner is so sweet! bummed they ran out of their coconut pies or we totally would have tried that!
