    Breakfast Burrito B (chorizo)
    Michele T.

On a walk with the kiddo and stopped by here as I was craving a breakfast burrito. There's a breakfast burrito A and B. Went with the B which comes with choice of meat, eggs, potatoes and crema (around $12). Kiddo ordered tacos ($3.64 each) - carne asada and carnitas. Both were good. The tacos were topped with quite a bit of meat and the burrito was filling. Noticed they have Taco Tuesday in which tacos are $3 each. The also have birria ramen which I think my other kiddo would love. Will be returning to try more menu items.

Short wait time and not too crowded on a Saturday afternoon. Great shrimp tacos and fresh tortilla chips. Good ambiance.

Super solid spot for Mexican food in the Sunset! In an area where Mexican food is sparse, I was excited to see this place popup and receive so many good reviews. My boyfriend came here twice for a breakfast burrito before we ended up coming here for lunch. He really liked the BBs, so I'm excited to go back and check them out. Now onto our lunch - we ordered the super nachos with carnitas and a super quesadilla with chicken. Nacho order was big and absolutely loaded up with all the toppings. There was a whole lot of everything, especially meat, so that was great! Despite our best efforts, we couldn't finish them and had to take a decent portion home. The quesadilla was also really good! Not quite as stuffed as the nachos were loaded, but it still had plenty of meat and cheese, and had the most delicious crispy char on the tortilla. For the meats the chicken was my favorite of the two, the carnitas were also good because they were super tender, but I did kinda wish they had a little more char to them. The chicken was juicy and grilled to perfection, I'd for sure get it again! They have a little self serve salsa bar, unfortunately the salsas were a little too spicy for me, I liked the flavor of them, but my mouth was on fire for minutes after eating them.

Came here after spending sometime at the presidio and this place did not disappoint. We got carne asada tacos, fish taco and carne asada burrito. The salsa bar was nice just wish it was spicier but definitely enjoyed the flavor. The fries in the burrito we didn't enjoy as it was mushy. Service was quick and they were nice. It is small inside and feels a little compact. Also parking can be difficult.

Ambiance: okay nothing special Food: Great Service: The worst! Mind you I have been here before when they first open and I haven't came back till tonight I didn't come back because of the service they were so rude and it took forever the first time and now they are just rude I will never come back to this establishment ever again! I was hoping my second time would be different but boy was I wrong. Even though the food is great I would rather take my money elsewhere instead of paying for people to be rude to me.

Appreciate a taqueria in the sunset, but my experience was just average. My husband and I wanted to try it out so I ordered a carne asada super burrito and he ordered a lengua super burrito + a taco with all the works. We ordered to go and opened it up as soon as we got home and the burritos and taco were cold! The tortilla definitely was not warmed up and the cheese on the taco wasn't melted. I luckily just microwaved it up and ate it hot, but thought it was just average. Liked that it came with chips, but even the chips weren't the classic taqueria chips offered - felt like the Costco chips just put in a smaller bag. Be super careful with the hot sauces - they actually pack some crazy heat!

Good service and delicious food. Self serve sauce bar is good too! People are friendly, despite some other reviews saying otherwise. I'd be back!

I'm so happy there is a new taqueria in this neighborhood! Definitely adds to our rotating eating out options. We came a couple of days after they first opened. There was a line and as we ate, more people were coming in. The menu is pretty standard and the food is also pretty standard. Pretty good for Sunset, but I imagine it's middle of the road compared to the taquerias in the Mission. I got the lengua super burrito and hubby got chorizo, both with refried beans. The burritos are HUGE. Flavor was pretty good. There's a salsa bar with 4 salsa options. There are quite a few tables around the small dining space.

We saw that this restaurant was going to open today so we gave it a try. Food: We ordered the Super Burrito with Carne Asada. It was good. In the burrito was sour cream, pinto beans, guacamole, and cheese.. They had self serve salsa and came with free chips. We ordered to go. Service: The cashier was friendly and also a woman greeted us and gave us a menu to look at. The prices were not too high and you get a good amount of food. Ambiance: The place had a good feel with bright walls and seating for dine in. I would come back to try new things and order the super Burrito again.

The Mayor of Noriega welcomes this fantastic new taqueria to the hood ! Greeted by Alex and his team - super friendly. Nice salsa bar with 4 offerings. I had 3 tacos . Over stuffed with lengua, carnitas, and chorizo! . So good!!! Ambient sounds like da mission! JYW highly recommends ! Tell Alex the da mayor of Noriega sent you !

A coworker recommended this place, and now I recommend it to everyone. What stands out is the balance--everything is done well. The meat is rich and flavorful, the tacos themselves are just as good, and the consommé ties everything together perfectly. I've tried places where one part is strong but something else falls short, but not here. You also get free sides like onions, cactus, radish, and beans, which make the meal even better. I've been coming back ever since, and I can easily finish three tacos in one sitting. On my most recent visit, I had two birria tacos and tried their birria ramen. It was surprisingly good--comforting and flavorful, more like a homemade dish than anything instant. For drinks, I've tried all their jugos, and the jamaica is the standout--get it in a large. Service: Friendly, efficient, and straightforward. Orders come out at a good pace, and the staff keep things moving even when it's busy. Ambience: The space has a Frida Kahlo-inspired design, which adds character and makes it feel lively and unique. There's one restroom available. Parking: Parking can be a bit difficult in the area, so expect to walk a little--but it's worth it once you get your food. If you're serious about finding a really good birria taco, this is one to try.

Tacos El Patron is worth the effort to figure out where to park, etc. it's not quite a hole in the wall, but it definitely is on the smaller side, and we ended up getting food to go because it was just easier. The birria quesadilla was a total surprise. It was FILLED with a very generous amount of meat. The meat was tasty, lightly seasoned, and the portion truly is a shareable. We asked about the consommé and I don't know if they just forgot it or what happened but we never got to try it. The shrimp taco was tasty and absolutely filled with again generous amount of shrimps. Ironically, it wasn't my favorite. It just was lacking the level of flavor that I really wanted. The Carne Asada was mediocre at best and not something that I would order again. The winner out of the numerous items that we ordered was the pork belly and the Al pastor. Between the two, the Al pastor is the one that you want. Incredibly well seasoned, a nice hint of light spice, the meat was juicy and tender, and the combination in the taco was outstanding. Seriously so good that my mouth is watering just thinking about how tasty it was. The chips were nothing to write home about, and I didn't really care for salsas that came with the meal. Really reasonably priced, generous amount of food, and absolute worth the push in enjoying their food! Diners tip: there seems to be a description in cost between ordering online versus in the restaurant and you may get a better deal ordering online
