Great food at low low prices. Always fresh and fast. Great breakfast and great lunch specials. Ask for the gorditas

Very good food truck I go to frequently. Behind the Family Dollar on Willis Waukegan and the best…read morepart it is by then liquor store. It's fresh food not fast. You can eat on site or take it to go. I love the tacos. There are a lot of things on the menu I am unfamiliar with as it is in Spanish. The staff is very nice . I believe they are open daily.

Technically my boyfriend should be writing this review. He's a genius. He brought me here on our…read morefirst date, so obviously, we're a couple now. He ordered the beef barbacoa tacos (or tacos de tlaquepaque), and let me know that Tlaquepaque it's actually a place in Mexico. The style of meat and the tacos is cooked in steam with no fat. The salsa that comes with it is made from roasted or sun-dried peppers. We also ordered a few other types of meat (the pork and carne asada, I believe). Everything was delicious, but the barbacoa tacos just blew me away. So simple and so... exquisite. Being the delicate, feminine creature that I am, I only ordered two tacos. Then I ate some of his. Then we ordered more to take back home to my family. I'm just a regular white girl, so my idea of tacos is usually something fried, piled with cheese and lettuce and sour cream and other random toppings. But when I tell you these tacos are perfect... I believe it's the steam technique they use, but the meat has so much flavor, a lovely texture and is perfectly moist (yes, I said that word. Deal with it). With just a squeeze of lime and a drizzle of salsa, it needs no other adornment.
