The dining area seemed understaffed, and table service was almost nonexistent. Because of that, I decided not to leave a tip. In Mexico, tipping is voluntary and should reflect the service received. When I paid without leaving a tip, the person in charge questioned me about it persistently in a rude and uncomfortable way. Other customers nearby noticed, and my friend was also confused by the situation. When I asked for a receipt, I did not receive a polite explanation and was simply told to check the QR code myself. I ordered seafood soon dubu jigae and got boiled water with a few pieces of zucchini and rawish supermarket mushrooms. I expected the customary silky smooth tofu, but instead it was an unappetizing mess of curdled soy milk. There was no spice from gochgaru or gochujang, just boiled unsalted vegetable water. It was entirely inedible. I ate some rice and banchan. The server first told me I had ordered the wrong dish even though their menu was incorrect. He later offered to redo the order to my liking, but I did not trust that it would be any better. They were very kind and removed the charge. I guess some people found the decor understated elegant.
