Brea offered to do our engagement photos for free so they could get to know us. Even though we did not want engagement photos we could not pass up the fact that they were free. It was a very pleasant experience with Jessica and the photos turned out really well. Fast forward to our wedding in June of 2014: Jessica was an absolute delight to have as my photographer. I made it very clear to her that I did not want staged photos where everyone is standing perfectly all the time, and I did not want to be bombarded with photos. She listened to what I wanted and the photos were very painless. She was snapping pictures when I didn't even know she was taking pictures, so she was very unobtrusive. Jessica is a very sweet person and I just can't say enough about her. She also listened to the wedding party when they had an idea for a photo. Jessica was also very flexible when I changed my mind about something at the last minute. It really was a wonderful and pleasant day with her. The photos that I just received back from the wedding are GORGEOUS!! Jessica captured some beautiful moments and the pictures are very much my style of photography. I could not be happier with my experience with Jessica and Brea Photography. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them!!!

I love Brea Photography!…read more Brea herself is fantastic to work with, and her team of photographers are reliable, friendly, and I never have to worry about they way the photos are going to turn out. As someone who plans a lot of events, not having to give photography a second thought is completely priceless. If you can snag Brea, use her before you use her peeps, but anyone from the group should work out just fine. Typically getting a hold of her 2-3 weeks before your event is enough time, but book ahead if you want to use her pop-up photo booth services, which I believe are new. Really solid photographers with great attitudes. Let 'em capture all the cool things you've got going on!

If you need a photographer in St. Louis, look no further…read more I've hired Jenn for both my professional headshots and a family session in the park and she was fantastic for both! I HATE having my photo taken, but she actually made the process fun and worked with me to produce really flattering headshots. I've gotten multiple compliments from friends and colleagues on my new headshots, and I would recommend her to any professional without hesitation. For our family photos, I was blown away by how patient she was with my 3 year old son, who was not in the mood to have photos taken the day of our shoot. She cheered him up in impressively short order, and ultimately she took gorgeous photos that captured our family's personality perfectly. And when I thought it couldn't get any better, she turned around the proofs and edits for both sessions very quickly! She was professional and communicative throughout, and I can't overstate just how much I've enjoyed working with her.

I spent an entire year reading reviews, looking at pictures and researching sites. I always came back to Anna. I loved her editorial style. We photographed for five hours and she captured some of the most beautiful pictures of my son. She indulged his love of photography by answering numerous questions and giving tips and tricks. She also used his camera in some of the pictures and those are my favorite. Anna is genuine and creative, ever the professional. She has a smile that outshines the sun, with a soul to match. I will always recommend Anna.

The date was a holiday weekend which also narrowed our options. I found Phil on another social media platform. We connected and I found him to be very personable and considerate of our needs. Fortunately, Phil had past experience photographing anniversary parties and promptly suggested I review his website to review work examples. His website photos are vibrant, clear, and perfectly captures the joy of the events. We spoke with a couple of photographers and their work examples didn't compare to Phil's. We spoke a couple times prior to the event and he asked me for specific photos I wanted taken. I didn't prepare a list, and that is all on me. Not Phil at all. I strongly recommend preparing a list to better direct Phil. It's not his job to be an event planner!! On the day of our event, Phil actually was there even before WE arrived. He'd already began photographing guests without my prompting. Phil's presence was unobtrusive and his demeanor professional. At my request, he stayed a little longer than we had originally planned and agreed. He gave me a timeline of when to expect my photos. Surprisingly, he emailed the link to our photos A WEEK LATER! Her helpfulness in picking out other vendors and creating a timeline that worked for our evening ceremony was so helpful, but THAT ENGAGEMENT SHOOT?! My now-husband and I are not "photoshoot" comfortable, but she made it easy, and the pictures are the perfect reflection of us. When it came to wedding planning, i thought i had all my ducks in a row, but a lot fell through the cracks on my part. When I was not fully prepared the day-of, Michelle was the perfect person to have by my side, from her endless "survival kit", to her ability to wrangle my bridal party for photos; from her calm, positive demeanor, to her ability to go with the flow, she really made sure we got special shots with everyone, and made the day so much more special. I could not have asked for a better experience, and her guest photographer was just as professional and poised through all the events and transitions that our wedding day had. If I had to do it again, I would always choose Michelle to be by our side!
