The people working know what they're talking about and they're willing to help. The place is set up currently to be more of a shop, although it is possible to take a seat at the bar counter if you're interested in staying for a drink or two. I hesitate to leave a review because I don't want more people crowding my space and cramping my style, but Jarvis Street Bottle Shop deserves all the recognition and service.

What a great spot to find some craft beers, wines and other items…read more We came in on Saturday and were greeted by a man & woman (I believe they are the owners). They have a wide variety of items. Some cold and some not. Everything is organized so you can find what you're looking for. You can mix and match your own 4 pack if you like. We've been trying to find a place to buy sour beers in Greenville and believe this is our place! Would love if they had a rewards program of some kind. We will be back!

Gorham's Cafe is the place to eat if you are in the Farmville, NC. Gorham's Cafe started out as a…read morefood truck then the restaurant opened inside an old gas station. I missed it the first time driving by but found it when I came back the other direction. The food and service here are so good. I was warmly greeted when I entered and they were very helpful as I ordered. There is an everyday menu with daily specials. I opted for the chicken pastry which is similar to chicken and dumplings but has noodles instead. Then I got yams and mac n cheese as sides. I opted for my food to go as I didn't see the inside dining area till after I had ordered. But my food stayed hot during my drive home. The portion was much bigger than I expected. The chicken pastry tasted delicious. I had never had that before but will again. The mac n cheese was creamy goodness and the yams were nice and sweet. They sell desserts at the counter too and I got a banana pudding. I knew it'd be good but it was better than I expected. I live an hour away from Farmville but I will make a special trip to eat at Gorham's cafe again for their homemade goodness.

An outstanding evening at The Mulberry House!…read more From start to finish, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time, and a huge part of that was my server, Kylie. She was warm, attentive, and genuinely made the night feel special. She was happy to accommodate modifications to my order without missing a beat, checked in at exactly the right moments, and brought such a positive energy to the table. Service like hers is rare, and it truly elevated the whole experience. The food was fantastic. The Torched Tuna Crudo was fresh and beautifully balanced, the Spicy Honey-Garlic Shrimp was packed with flavor, and the Seared Salmon was cooked perfectly. And the view! Sitting outside and enjoying the setting made the evening feel like a true getaway. If you're visiting, ask for Kylie. She's a gem, and The Mulberry House is lucky to have her. I can't wait to come back!

The sun hits just right in that little space. My point being, if you're coming at that time, opt for indoor seating. We were told that new owners recently took over and that the food was better. I can't speak to how it was, but it wasn't great this night. We ordered the whipped burrata cheese dip and it was tasteless. The bread was cold and hard and also tasteless. We then ordered the Caesar salad and they do offer anchovies, which is rare. But, it was also not good. At all. It literally had one crouton. One. We decided to call it and head out. The server was very sweet and attentive.
