This place is pretty large for a boba shop. Got the oolong milk tea with boba. Not bad, albeit a little watery and the boba was very soft, almost Mochi-like in texture. I've definitely had worse, but it isn't great either. read more

Probably the worst tapioca express I've been to.. Sorry but true. Once they run out of rice they don't make anymore ! It's so stupid it takes like 20 minutes in a rice cooker. This has happened to me not once but two times in a row! I don't know who became disabled and couldn't work a rice cooker but they need to get their shit together. I also ordered a mango tea and a peach tea they handed them to me and said "sorry we don't know which one is which" WTF? what is that supposed to mean ? The teas were going to different houses what was I supposed to do GUESS?! Love their snow bubbles with regular boba. It's never been too busy when I've gone to this location. The parking lot is full of people who can't park or drive but that has nothing to do with Tapex. Tapex gets 5 stars! Love it. read more

Ordered two mango snow bubbles after they didn't have my original choices of matcha green tea snow nor pudding milk tea nor vanilla cookie snow. I mean, I couldn't be mad, it was kind of funny how the cashier apologized to me every time I ordered something else and had the expression like, "oh. f*ck." Came here with some friends multiple times to get their drinks and disappointed every time!!! Their snowbubbles have almost no flavor and taste like blended milk with ice. Ice cream milk tea comes with almost no ice cream what so ever and wasn't even full! The cup was only filled 3/4. Customer service is terrible! I just went there and they're not even paying attention to who is grabbing drinks. So someone took my order and what they did to fix my order was grab new cups with the jelly I wanted and pour the other customer slush drink into the new cups. The drinks didn't even taste good. I went in here around 10pm tonight. It wasn't very busy, there was maybe a few other people in the store. We bought 2 combo plates of crispy chicken, and came home with 1 plate of a combo and another of the chicken with fries. The guy had our order sitting there for a few minutes too and we were confused as to why he put our order in 2 separate bags but we didn't think anything of it. Granted, we're partially at fault for not checking our order, but it wasn't even busy and our orders still got messed up. I've worked in the food industry so I get that it can get stressful at times, but we waited awhile and the worker even apologized to us for the wait, AND still got our order wrong. I haven't had any of their dishes, but their customer service sucks! My wife was craving avocado boba and we went there New Year's Eve. Got there at exactly 450pm and before we walked in saw a sign saying they close at 5pm. So we made it in time to order. The ladies saw us walk in and didn't say anything to us until we were about to order and they said that they were closed. I noticed that they were washing up and getting ready to close. If they were going close at 450pm, then post a freaking sign that says you are closed at 450pm. Don't put a sign up saying 5pm and let guests walk in 10 minutes before expecting to patronize your lousy establishment! whenever i come to this TapEx, it's always grab and go. i've never really tried their food, but their drinks are okay. it's a hit or miss with their staff sometimes as well. there are times where i go in and i'm greeted, and times where i go in and i'm not even noticed. either way, i never stay long enough. read more

This was my first time at the national city tapex. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the bad reviews but let me tell you, the drink/food is worth the wait! And I have a recommendation that just might change your mind about this place. Ask for RAYMOND, and ask him to make a RED SKITTLE. I'm not sure if any of the other workers know how to make this drink. A friend of a friend of a friend told me to ask him to make a special drink and he did just that. No customer service whatsoever. The line was so long and instead of having two cashiers to alleviate the line, the cashier took her sweet time and even took the time to chat with her coworkers. The drinks here are soooo different from the Tapioca Express on Convoy. I feel like they just make up their own recipes. I don't understand why the drinks are so inconsistent from the other location when it's the same company. You don't go to another Starbucks and expect the drink to be different. I seldom give bad ratings for places but everything was just wrong about this place. I decided to try something new and get a Tropical Fruit Iced Tea and it was so disgusting!! I took one sip and asked a man behind the pick-up counter if it would be possible to just get a regular black tea with boba and he told me to go around to the front of the counter. I asked him if I had to stand in line again and he said no. Which I DON'T UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YOU'RE ALREADY BEHIND THE COUNTER and there's a big ass line so why can't YOU just help me !?!? So I go to the front and ask if it would be possible, the cashier steps away to ask her boss, holding up the lines (again I don't understand why the first person I asked couldn't help me, he was doing to-go orders) and even agrees with me that the drink is too bitter and comes back and says since the drink order wasn't their mistake, there was nothing they could do. Food and drinks are awesome but dining area and restroom are dirty, the cashier is very friendly and jolly.

i live down the street from the convoy tapex, which has more food and drink item selections. however, convoy tapex does not have THE SISIG COMBO PLATE!!! when i'm craving sisig and tea @ the same time, which is most of the time, i feed my craving here. like most tapex's, the majority of the crowd is young, although i feel this tapex has more high schoolers than convoy's, which seems to have more college peeps. better parking than convoy's lot, but definitely more ricers here. stupid ricers.... read more

Service was "ok" as in I walked in and no one greeted me or took my order for over 3 minutes while I was standing at the counter. I ordered an Almond Snow bubble with boba, which is was I always get when I go to any Tapex. As usual the flavor never disappoints. The only thing I can say I dont like about the snow bubbles is that the consistancy is not very good. The flavor and liquid end up running out and you end up with just a bunch of flavorless ice when your done. read more
