The massage studio was clean and quiet and private. The only thing is the room that shared the wall to the exterior of the building you can hear the noise of the people walking past. But I was so into my zone of trying to relax and enjoy the loosening of my tight and sometimes painful muscles the noise didn't disturb me. They massaged my scalp and ears too which was so nice. By the end of my massage the therapist detected that I had tightness in my feet. Which I really did from all of the walking about downtown New Orleans through the crowds and parades. So for $30 extra bucks I stayed and got a 20-30 minute (I can't remember how long it was) feet massage. It was so nice and I could tell the difference after the massages. We all felt much better as far as relaxed legs and back muscles. I was afraid I would be hurt during the massage of my lumbar area as it hurts a lot sometimes and the massage studio/salon didn't take any intake information about any health issues. However they did great and I wasn't hurt at all. I recommend this location when in New Orleans.

I so do not recommend this place and have never given a negative review before but it was just so bad.

I arrived as the owner was wrapping up with a client in one of those massage chair things you see in the airport where the people kneel lol. I was led to a back room with a table and tranquil music and told to change. I like a firm massage and let me tell you this tiny little lady delivered. She got my knots out went deep did fully body including my feet which were last (saved the best for last) and adjusted pressure as requested. Since there wasn't another masseuse we did get interrupted by walk in's a few times and lost a few minutes but overall it was a great massage. I've paid double for worse and have walked away feeling like I needed another half hour or more. Whereas here I felt fully relaxed and so much better within that limited time frame. The music was tranquil and not too loud. The masseuse could not tell me exactly what was in my massage oil so if you have allergies steer clear. I really felt I got the best bang for the buck and left feeling like a million bucks.

Things they could do to make it five stars: my roommate and I noticed, they do not consistently have the same amount of time. I set my watch now. They could put a sign on the door when full so the workers don't have to leave to answer the door and phone. I'd love if they could get the hot towels ready in the room--they are all big enough--so no one is freezing while waiting for the massage personnel to return. And don't ask for more of a tip; it's just tacky.

Not realizing how knotted up my body was when I came in, Renata was able to massage me, relax me, then educate me regarding my body & the stress I was carrying. I came in for a relaxing massage, but instead I got a massage & very helpful information regarding my body!!!! Talk about a bonanza!!! Additionally, Renata further aided in my relaxation process by providing the level of modesty (regarding my body) that made me comfortable. Not many times does a therapist that takes the time to inquire about your comfort level; whether your 1st or 100th time, this can be an issue. My hot stone massage wasn't long enough, as I didn't want her to stop. From the top to the bottom, there wasn't area that was untouched by her. She made sure all my muscles received a fair amount of stimulation and "unkinking"; as I was truly full of knots.
