This is the most ridiculous place you will ever live. There were so many issues when we moved in, less than 1 year ago, and there are still issues 6 months later that never change! Just to get in the building they have a system set up whereby you must use YOUR personal cellphone and open this ap called Blue Diamond. It's the most ridiculous, useless piece of junk ap, that NEVER works. Not kidding, every single day just to leave your residence and return, you must go through wasting a great deal of time and aggravation, because the system sucks! They seem to get rid of all the things that work great, yet they keep the things that don't work, which makes no sense. They used to have a key fob system, which was great. You could have your hands full with groceries, and the key fob in pocket and if you stand close enough to device, it opens door. The key fob was also used to operate the elevator. Now, its turn your cellphone on that's asleep in your pocket...then open BD App that sucks, then wait for it to say unlocked, then connected, which 98% it doesn't connect. I can't tell you how many times I came home with ice cream that melted or a pizza that got cold by the time I got in my residence! The management has been made aware of it but does nothing about it. There are many other issues too, but even if this was the only issue, and I assure you, it's NOT, that would be enough to make me want to move! Imagine, every single day you waste time leaving your residence and going downstairs in elevator, then returning home, and having to get into building and use elevator. It averages like 10 minutes a day, so by month end you wasted 280 minutes! That's 4 hrs wasted every month in this nonsense! Other issues waste time as well. Just to name another example, the only parking is on the 3 levels of garage parking. There are gates to get in and out of garage. They are supposed to open when reading your license plate. They don't always work for cars, and they NEVER work for motorcycles. So, if all you have is a motorcycle you ae really in trouble. But even as a leisure vehicle, you must exit through the gate that people walk through, otherwise you can't leave out the normal gate, because it doesn't open for motorcycles. As I mentioned there are many other issues, like the water being shut off for hours, never a reason as to why, etc. I would NOT recommend living here! We have lived at many rentals and purchased many pieces of property and we have never seen so many issues at one place! read more

Lived here for 3 years as an owner. Consistently, not just once in a while, consistently YOUR AC UNIT WILL BE SHUT OFF. Not during cold weather days to compensate for South Florida humidity and weather, but random when they decide. For over 3 years, AC being shut off for more than 48 hours, hot water being shut off multiple times a year. And again, not just for a day or a few hours, a few days, sometimes a week you are expected to have zero working AC and hot water. Even more, elevators are constantly down. 3rd year now where the elevators "need repairs" again. The cleaning crew is rude, they will complain that you have to use the elevator after it has been mopped because that's normal and common. If you have to exit the building but the cleaning ladies are mopping that area, be ready to argue since they will yell at you to go around or find another way out, because once again, they just mopped. Wow. Save your money, save your sanity, and put yourself somewhere that is respectful to you and your money. Tao is a pretty-looking building that beyond sucks to live in due to very poor management. read more

No words......horrible disrespectful staff. They don't say anything to anybody else at the pool,gym, lounge where everybody is close to each other. But going in the elevator or walking to my apartment/car by MYSELF. They continue making me wear a mask. One time I had my hands full of groceries and they had the nerve to tell me to put on my mask as I was walking into my apartment. The office staff is a nightmare to deal with. On several occasions, I was treated as a nuisance rather than a valued guest. It seems as though the staff focuses solely on attracting new clients -- once I signed my lease their attitudes toward me completely changed. They became cold, unresponsive and seemingly annoyed any time I would contact them. Rosaire, in particular, was consistently condescending in the way she approached me and had absolutely no respect for my time. Tao makes a great first impression -- the building itself is wonderful, clean and very well-kept. It is such a shame that dealing with the front office staff is enough of a headache to make me seek other living arrangements in the future. read more

Tao is a beautiful place but if you're leasing, beware of the manager named Rosesaire Antoine. She is the epitome of horrific customer service. It's unfathomable that this person even has this type of position. After three years of residing at Tao, because of a computer glitch with our renewal she told us we had to pay additional costs and the new lease has an increase of 150.00. I have my suspicions that she is a racist as well. Look to The Palms, newly renovated gorgeously and much more economical. Nexxus is also beautiful and brand new. read more

The 5 star ratings on Yelp are being placed by Tao's administration and real estate agents looking to make a sale. The building has great amenities, but unfortunately a highly incapable, inefficient and disrespectful administration. Don't expect any of the rules and regulations in this building to be enforced by the administration, especially the building manager (Evens) or his assistant Carolina. Centrally located, well maintained, and abundant in amenities, Tao and it's staff represent the ultimate in luxurious living. Security is present but not overbearing and there is ample parking for guests despite the popularity of the location. I just renewed my lease after my first year. I wanted to live in a high rise but be closer to work. This is the place for me. My leasing agent Doron has always been there always going above and beyond for me and has always been helpful. John in the maintenance department is prompt and solves problems with the greatest speed and always exceeds anything I have experienced in my past residences. The amenities are top notch and well maintained. If you are looking for a first class high rise in the western communities Tao is the place for you. read more

Worst management I've ever come across. We moved to A different unit two months ago and the front desk still has us under the old one. every time guests come over or I forget my key fob I have to remind them we moved and they give me issues every time. They are always rude and disrespectful telling me "it's on me" every time they refuse to let me up because the system still has us under the old apt. The manager is by far the most disrespectful. Did not greet me but bosses me around telling me to sign in to then give me a problem AFTER I had explained the issue. Mid conversation she decided to answer a call and had me waiting as she was laughing on the phone for what seemed like 10 mins. They messed up our deposit by scratching off the names on the check to give it back to us which of course the bank never took and they again said "that's on you" Every time I have people over the parking is an issue, the front desk people are the rudest I've ever come across and no one seems to know what they are doing. A monkey could manage this building better. Don't buy here, it's not worth the disrespect every time you step into the building. read more

I absolutely love my unit and had interest in buying it. I also really like the amenities, staff, and location. However, there have been issues the last couple of months with irresponsible dog owners. Most of the pet owners are responsible and follow the rules. However some residents unfortunately allow their dogs to bark incessantly for hours, meaning all day- not an hour or 2. One neighbor in particular sounds like their may even be a neglect or abuse issue as sometimes the poor animal sounds like it is in pain. Management has not been able to resolve this issue, so I'm updating my review to 1 star. read more

Great amenities, yes. Management terrible, absolutely terrible. I was absolutely robbed by them, never returned my deposit "because they didn't have a record of it" I sent them a copy of the cashier's check with the name "TAO ASSOCIATION" on it, receipt given directly from my bank, but they THEN said they could not return it because "I made a damaged on the wall when moving out" this was completely erroneous, they to this date do not have any proofs of it and in addition, the "damaged" was not even on the hallway we had to use to move out. Not only this, but the attitude and effortless communication with me was absolutely disrespectful. My only advise to anyone wanting to live there is to be extremely careful with the association's scams. read more

I'm in the second year of my lease and my time at the Tao has been a time too remember. My fiancée and I signed our lease with Doron who has been nothing but professional and accommodating to all our needs. Anytime we have any issue with our apartment Doron makes sure to have someone come up to our home the same day and fix whatever issue we may have. The only issue I have with Tao is they are very very Strict when it comes to simple things like going down to the Jacuzzi anytime after 9pm. Depending on the security that works that night they wont even let you down near the pool to lay out and enjoy the weather at night. I personally think that for the amount that we pay to live there that's one rule that they should consider looking into. Other than the little things like that you will love living here. read more

My daughter and I recently moved into TAO after selling our home in Weston. WE LOVE IT!!! Everything is taken care of for us or is right at our fingertips. The amenities are very nice and well kept. We have gorgeous views day and night, the location is perfect (we love to shop) and most importantly, with the extensive security provided, we feel safe and secure in our new home. The team in the Leasing Office have been great and JOHN has supported our move in needs in a responsive and professional manner. The building has organized activities that help the residents get better acquainted and they provide on site car washes, pet grooming and fitness classes. We couldn't ask for anything more. Great community to live in. It feels like a resort and the staff is exceptional. Our leasing agent Doron, is always very helpful and informative and willing to help. The pool is one of the best in all South Florida. One of the advantages is the promptness in maintenance requests. We submit any issues/inquiries online, and they usually get to them within a few hours. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Terrible management, new stupid rules every day, just to make your life miserable, no security whatsoever in the parking lot, not even 1 camera, know of several motorcycles being stolen from inside the parking garage, definetly by a resident that has access to the garage and nobody does anything about it. Any area that has no cameras there's sign of vandalism, like the elevator access from the garages, you'll see scratches on the elevator doors, dry food on the wall, dirt marks on the wall, terrible. We have lived here for one year now and have seen a lot of negative changes. The apartments are beautiful. View is relaxing. Fairly quiet. But here's the issues. Hot tub has not worked in 4 months. It is warm enough to breed bacteria but not hot enough to kill the bacteria. New management will not fix it. Because it sits in pool area where water can flow into the pool I do not use either facility. Next. Security sucks. This is not a secure building. When AC is on you can't hear the tv so you have to constantly adjust your volumn. AC has gone off about 5 times this year and yes it was fixed eventually. But it was miserable. We have new management and I hate to blame this on them. But everything started going bad when they took over. We used to have a facility website but no more. We have to decide if we will renew our lease. We are looking at nexus now. The cost to move is high. But overall it may be worth it since I do not see any hopes of improving the problems here. Btw. The cost to move in is high because you have to secure the elevator at $500 and travel down long hall to move your furniture thus increasing hourly cost to pay movers. When I first moved here three years ago, it was great. But as time went on my family and I began to feel more like prisoners rather than residents. Rules and regulations have changed since we moved in. What used to be a relaxing and accommodating place to live is now a strict and hostile facility. Families with young children will not want to live here. Our kids and some neighbors' kids were playing by the pool with a small ball with parental supervision for years, but just the other day staff and security comes out to tell them they can't play with the ball. They were not even near any windows and were not near the lake which would have been worse. Another thing is, if someone complains about the slightest noise while out by the pool, you could get fined according to staff. Music is looked down upon and I wouldn't be surprised if there has been complaints about talking, laughter and splashing as well (all things that come with outside pool activities). If you pay a lot of money to live somewhere, you should be given some basic rights of passage. When you live at Tao, don't look forward to having fun. The staff here is also part of the problem. They seem to find it funny to have you sit in the elevator for a while until they finally buzz you to the level you need to go to. Unprofessional and immature. Just recently they've implemented several new cameras around the premises, which is safe but one comes to feel like they are being spied on. While in the lounge area, someone will come down to tell you you can't do this, you can't do that, literally EVERYTIME you're in there. It's like they want you to stare at the wall and do nothing but breathe. It's almost like the residents are always in the wrong and we're inconveniencing the staff/owners. read more

The building is nice, but the management is awful! These people couldn't manage a gas station. Their communication is abysmal and they are not friendly or customer service oriented at all. They just want your money!! This is probably because they are unable to sell their units and try to rent these at ridiculous prices for the location. I could get a condo on the beach with better features and amenities for less than what I paid for here. Other issues are people not cleaning up after themselves or their dogs...eew! Poor cable, internet options.(Only Dish Network which sucks). There are weird noises. (Had to wear earplugs to sleep) and while the location is good for food and shopping, it's way to far from anything else. Lived here for 2 years, regret it...you can do better and should. read more
