It's hard to play with creativity in a restaurant: often the results are just strange mixtures of…read moreingredients, and originality seems to be an objective itself instead of a way to create great dishes. At La Rima creativity is perfectly used: results are incredible fusions of perfumes and tastes. All the dishes we had, besides an excellent presentation, have been wonderful discoveries, like the risotto with blueberries, licorice and smoked eel, the pasta with Jerusalem artichokes and duck speck, the red mullets with tapenade and celeriac sauce, the monkfish with saffron sauce.
Also the wine list has a lot of unknown and interesting proposals, like the excellent Faius we choose, a great blend of Fiano, Greco and Coda di Volpe grapes, balanced, persistent, with a rich mixture of tastes: mint, vanilla, oak, ...
Beside this, the dining room is calm and relaxing: right distance between tables, good music, not too loud.
Finally a great service, with complementary starters, right speed, friendly and expert staff, ready to provide all info and curiosities on wines and dishes.
