So we took a little detour for a Monday afternoon lunch, so I was taken to this little place in town. One of the first things we noticed was actually the one big negative this place has and why I can't give this any higher than what this is getting. So this was a cute little place where you could even get some outdoor seating, but because of the bustle this place has gotten, you can notice right away how cramped this can get. Over at some tables, you might get a little trapped if you sit their at the wrong time. It works against waiters and waitresses too because they could easy bump into tables and spill a bit of food. For example, I did notice a few chips fall on the floor on its way to a table. So if you choose to eat in, do keep that in mind. That or either eat outside or get it delivered. That being said, everything else about the place was pretty good. My brother and I got large lemonades, and their idea of large fits! We got jumbo cups of the stuff which is nice on a hot summer day. For lunch, I had the triple grilled cheese, no tomato and extra bacon while my brother went with the Reuben. When we get the food, my brother said a little prayer of grace before we began eating. I totally devoured that sandwich like it took my lunch money. It was a good sandwich with a nice char to the bread. As for the Reuben, my brother replied it was alright. Nothing bad, but nothing spectacular either. That was about fair. So overall the food's good. So is the attitude of the employees as well. I have no complaints with their customer service. So overall, good spot to eat as long as you don't mind it being a bit cramped. This is about a 3.5/5 and is what this would get if half-stars were available on Yelp. For now though, it has to settle for a 3. read more

Small hometown Cafe. Simple menu. Soup and sandwiches and they do it very well. If you enjoy a lighter lunch they offer a half sandwich and cup as an option. Was easier to park near before the city messed up the street and limited parking due to planting things every 2 spaces. ​ read more

The outside is a cute old timey store front. The inside it BAM bright orange smack in the face! Wow! That's bright! The decor is nice and elegant, except for the chairs! They need to update those. The cheese tortilla soup is fantastic in my mouth! Love the mild spice and density! The California Dream sandwich is just that; did I dream it?!? The roast beef, ham, spouts, Dijon, and cheese are panini-toasted slammed together for a great taste. Served with chips and a pickle. Ooo, and a Jumbo sweet tea; don't for get to try that! The Tannery is a fabulous little deli in downtown Greeneville with fantastic sandwiches and some pretty amazing raspberry sweet tea. They have a large menu with soups and salads in addition to their delicious sandwiches. Just order at the counter and pick up your tea, then it's just a short wait before you are delivered your delectable deli lunch. The only thing that is disappointing about The Tannery is that they are only open for lunch on the weekdays, which is sad, but makes each trip there that much more special! So if you're ever in Gvegas looking some good inexpensive lunch eats The Tannery is a top choice of mine! So so so good :) read more

I wish I had come here weeks ago! I'm doing a project at the hospital in Greeneville and found this place last week. What a winner! It's a very small, order at the counter place. Check out the chalkboard for the daily specials because I almost missed the amazing Hawaiian sandwich and that would have been a pity. ham, pepperjack cheese and pineapple. I've had Hawaiian sandwiches before but they've always had mozzarella and were missing something. The pepper jack as well as the jalapeño ranch dressing added a much needed kick. A side salad that was fresh and tasty was added and equaled a very delicious lunch! The ladies that work here rock by the way!! Just ate there today with my aunt and great aunt. All three if us loved our sandwiches! I had the daily special - Hawaiian Ham that had pepper jack cheese, crushed pineapple as well as herbed cream cheese. My aunt had chicken salad and she loved the shredded chicken and cucumber as well as the sprouts. My great aunt had the authentic Reuben ans she said it was one of the best she's ever had! I heard about the place and drove by a few times. They are only open for lunch. I had the ham sandwich with pepper jack and it was very good. The food is delicious, extremely blessed with business.... But not personable... I understand that large orders are stressful, but it's disheartening when the cashier is so frustrated with me for paying separately that she verbally and loudly let's out a big UGH!!
