Meh. Typical doctor's office that makes you wait forever to get mediocre service. They rarely call with test results even when they say they will. I always have to call them and even then they're slow to respond. Not too impressed. Not sure if all providers are the same - I see Dr Butler. Time to find someone new I suppose. read more

Scott Bishop at Tanner Clinic is by far the WORST doctor I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. When I went in for a sinus infection, he gave me the runaround. He prescribed medicine used for a condition that I didn't even have, forcing me to waste money on it. I knew all along that I needed antibiotics for a sinus infection, but he failed to give them to me the first time. I had no choice but to return to his office a second time, causing me into paying yet another copay. He finally prescribed the antibiotics and I got over the infection, but it was only after a completely unnecessary visit that I still had to pay for! Never under ANY circumstances EVER bother seeing Dr. Bishop!! He will only waste your time and money and he clearly does NOT care about his patients! read more

I had a really hard time finding a pediatrician. Not every doctors office has pediatricians plus then there's the issue of finding somebody in network. I saw Dr Noel Nye was in network and he had great reviews. I called Tanner Clinic and it was easy to get an appointment. I've seen Dr. Nye twice now for my infant and both times he was very caring and helpful. He gives a lot of great advice without being pushy. We really like him! I also haven't had any problems with their billing through my insurance and when I've had to schedule/reschedule appointments it has been easy! This is my first time going to Tanner Clinic and so far it has been a positive experience for me. read more

The staff here is very friendly, they did a great job assessing my needs and pointing me in the right direction to get the care I need. The only reason I left two stars, is I have been in the process of trying to receive a letter from a doctor to live with my service dog. I moved here from California and unfortunately had to leave my previous service dog behind. In terms of the Doctors help, I feel I have been sent in circles and jumping through hoops, passed along from doctor to doctor in order to get an assessment and signature that I need to reside with my current service dog. I understand in situations like these, it can get complicated. Legal obligations can mean it is difficult for a doctor to sign without risking their license. I only feel my needs and voice wasn't heard, and that I've been passed off as a fake that simply wants to bring their pet with them to a store or restaurant whenever they want. That's not the case. My service dog is not a pet, but an extension of me and a support I NEED to function in day to day life. At Tanner clinic it doesn't feel the doctors see me that way. Besides the impersonal feeling of neglect, the Doctors are knowledgeable and do things by the book. The nurses and receptionist are helpful but seem to be apologizing often due to the neglect I've experienced from the Doctors here. At my visit today, I scheduled the appointment over the phone at the Syracuse location and was told Dr. Stevens would most definitely be able to sign the letter for me. When I arrived, the nurse said the doctor would NOT sign the letter, but that she would ask and explain the situation to the doctor. Hearing the conversation just outside the door, Dr. Stevens wouldn't even agree to speak to me himself, and told the nurse there was no way he would sign my form. I immediately felt dismissed, ignored, and undermined. The nurse came in and apologized, said that there may be a website I could go to to get what I need, yet again another hoop to jump through. I hope I can get what I need, and soon, but also don't think it's right for me to have to convince doctors that my needs are real, or to even consider listening to me. read more

Tanner Clinic has always been great. The office and staff are professional and well kept. The wait times are generally short and the nurses and assistants are great. The least painful blood draw I've had was done there. read more

Usually I love tanner clinic but for covid testing you should NOT go here. From my personal experience the 2 times I have been tested here my test has been lost and they called 3 weeks later for me to reschedule because they lost my test and the other time just barely they told me i'd receive a call within 15 minutes and when I called to let them know I hadn't received my results they transferred me repeatedly until I was finally sent to a voicemail. If someone would give me an actual accurate timeline I wouldn't be so upset but I am left completely in the dark deciding if I need to get tested somewhere else. Flew in to Utah from Dallas to help my sister as she was set to give birth two weeks after I got there. About a week in I got extremely sick and found Tanner Clinic through Apple Maps. Did a virtual appointment with Dr.Stevens which actually went fine he got me strep and COVID test within the same hour and I am really happy with him. As far as the office it has to be one of the most frustrating things to try and get in touch with them. I was told I would get my strep results the same day and COVID within 2-3 days. I ended up in the ER the same night I originally got tested because I got hit like a brick with more symptoms (Fever, couldn't breathe well, body aches) and they couldn't do much other than all of us wait for the results. I called everyday starting at the 2 day mark because I was quarantined in the babies nursery/ guest room and he was due to arrive soon so we needed answers... I also wasn't getting any better. It took 5 days to hear anything from them even though I called and left messages daily. 5 days for my strep results and COVID results. They both came back negative thankfully but I do have other issues such as no spleen to where if I get sick I need to be on general antibiotics especially while traveling but was told to wait until I got my covid results but with the 5 day wait I had a lot of making up to do health wise. On the 5th day they called back and told me they had tried to call the same morning (which I had no record of and def was waiting for the call so I would've seen it) but since they called it was a whole new struggle trying to get electronic proof today to give to my employer to return back to work. Overall very disappointed and I will continue to rant about this place, especially during a pandemic, and I'm sure they're glad they haven't answered or returned any of my calls cause they wouldn't hear anything nice! read more

Went to Tanner Clinic to establish a doctor. I was refused service unless I paid a $200 deposit because of a previous bankruptcy. This place is a joke and they only got one star because I can't leave less. I do not reccomend anyone going to them because they are refusing service to those who need it just because they dont have enough money. I do have very good insurance and they still required the deposit. read more

Because of an insurance change, my husband and I were forced to change all of our doctors from IHC to the Tanner Clinic System. We made an appointment for both of us to see Dr. Warren Butler at the Syracuse Clinic at the same time. I presented with a very painful left hip and a painful stomach. He examined me and said it's probably a Lipoma on my hip andd I suggested it could be an ulcer in my stomach, but I was guessing. He ordered blood work, stool and urine samples, as well as a MRI, CT scans and an ultrasound. Tests showed that I didn't have an ulcer, so he said no further testing is needed. I say BS on that. If it's not an ulcer, then find out what it is then!!! I'm still in severe pain and I want to know why. Then he got the results from my Lipoma on my left hip. It showed its a large benign Lipoma and he says there is no reason to take it out unless it's causing pain or if it's impeading on my life. I told him it was very painful; I can't walk, sit or lay down without it hurting and my hip to my toes are numb. He actually said, "good luck in finding a surgeon that will take out a benign tumor". I have NEVER been so insaulted and disrespected by anyone. Between both issues, I'm in so much pain, I'm constantly crying and can never get into a position that doesn't hurt so I can relax. I'm now in the process of looking for a better, more compassionate doctor that actually cares about their patients. Seeing Dr. Warren Butler was the worst experience I've ever had dealing with ANY medical professional. Dr. Butler, if I were your wife or daughter, would you push them out of your door as quickly as you did with me???? Or would you insist they get the best quality of care ever, to eliminate the pain so they can have a better quality of life?! I was hoping that you would have a better bed side manner than just ignoring your patient's issues just to get them out of your office. I've been going to tanner clinic for 17years. I'm very pleased with most of the staff and Dr's. I highly recommend Dr. Stuart he is extremely knowledgeable, listens and try's to find the route problem instead of just being complacent. read more

I saw a Dr. Teela Sorensen, M.D. for a yearly check up and to ask about a recurring issue that I have been having. I did not like how I was treated. I felt like I was impeding on her time. She was short with me and rude. I will never set foot back in a Tanner clinic again especially not to see Dr. Sorensen. read more

Our family had recently moved into the area and started having our two children (2 years and the other 2 months old) see a pediatrician at Tanner Clinic early Jan. 2015. After seeing the pediatrician several times, we did not feel he was taking care of our needs and listening to our concerns. Over the course of 6 months, we felt a larger scope of neglect from the whole clinic. For example, we were not notified of a bill and later that bill was sent to collections without us being notified. There was a clear lack of communication from the billing department to us. That combined with the apparent lack of concern from the pediatrician, we decided to leave and never go back to this clinic. read more
