I highly recommend Tanja and Scott. They are energetic, engaging, knowledgeable, responsive and get results. We needed to quickly sell our home in Ingelside while we were out of the country. Scott and Tanja managed this transaction flawlessly and had our home sold before we returned! We also used Tanja and Scott to purchase our forever home. We were very particular in what we were looking for and they carefully navigated us through the market and got us exactly what we desired. We couldn't be more happy. read more

Working with Tanja to find my dream house was a real game changer after having experience with non trustable real estate agents. She understood my budget and my needs right away and soon after few house visits she knew some of the top on my list items that the new house must have. I am now an happy owner and mega huge thanks to Tanja. I will recommend her to all my friends. Her professionalism and energy is to the top! read more

Tanja is amazing. She's detail-oriented, efficient, professional, and she gives valuable advice. She also put a lot of her own energy into making sure our house and our listing were in great shape, leading to multiple good offers coming in very quickly. I am grateful to Tanja and would gladly work with her again! read more

Hands down, Tanja is the BEST. I got to know Tanja through a friend of mine who highly recommended her. From our first meeting, both my husband and I could tell that she is a straight shooter, who will tell her honest expert opinion on the properties and what you can expect. She listens to you and was amazing about the properties she picked to recommend for us. And once we found a property we were interested in, she and her team was on top of their game! They were extremely thorough and detailed-oriented, took the time to explain everything for us (we were first-time home buyers) and everything just felt so easy. The whole process went very smoothly---we made one offer in this highly competitive market and got the house! Thank you Tanja!! We LOVE our new place! read more

Tanja Beck is the Realtor /Broker Associate and real estate partner with Realtor, Scott Rose. They are MY TEAM SF (from Zephyr Real Estate)! And believe me there are multiple reasons to chose this team. Tanja and Scott were strategic in their planning with us, were knowledgeable of necessary resources, and were very supportive in alleviating any concerns or issues that we had brought to their attention. Within a week from listing and an open house, we had multiple offers. We highly recommend Tanja Beck and Scott Rose, MY TEAM SF, of Zephyr Real Estate. Delivers ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS! If you're looking for a real estate agent who really knows the Bayview, Tanja is the person for you. When I set out to buy a home, I didnt have a lot of money, but I had a dream and the determination to make it happen. She did not make me feel badly about my income, instead she took it as a challenge to find me something I could afford in a seemingly unaffordable city. Tanja helped make my dream a reality. She is honest and real, always delivers on her promises, and takes her job very seriously. She is also a proud Bayview resident, which I appreciate. And once you successfully buy a home with Tanja's help, she does not disappear. She is still connected and engaged, as much as you wish her to be. I would (and do) recommend Tanja to anyone looking to purchase a home in SF. She will not waste your time, she will be clear and honest about what you can and cannot hope to find in a new home, and she will do what she can to help make that happen." read more

I have Tanja and Scott a five-star rating years ago when they helped us purchase a home, and I can happily give them another five-star review after they helped us sell the home. The SF real estate market is complex and, particularly given the volatility in the market right now, it was so helpful to have their deep expertise and insights. They helped us make the right choices in preparing and staging the house, and worked hard to get a sales price that we were happy with. I highly recommend them. read more

We have moved several times in our lives and worked with many real estate agents but we consider Tanja the most competent and caring agent we have ever had the pleasure of working with. Tanja's counsel was unfailingly candid and transparent, even when it meant we would walk away from a property. And because we were from out of state, Tanja took a lot of time touring different neighborhoods with us, carefully highlighting the pros and cons of each. Most notably, Tanja implicitly understood what we were looking for and did not waste our time showing us a property in which we would have little interest. And when it came time to put in a bid, Tanja guided us through the process with great care and integrity. And even after we closed on the property, Tanja stayed in touch, helping us assess contractor bids and addressing other issues attendant to the first few weeks of owning a new property. WIth Tanja, you have a very experienced and caring real estate agent . . . and then you have a friend. We consider ourselves lucky to have found her. read more

We worked with Tanja as our buyer's agent in San Francisco in the spring of 2021. We interviewed several agents and she struck us as the most practical and knowledgable, as well as responsible. This was our second time exploring the SF home market and the first time actually completing a transaction. We were shopping during Covid so there were extra hoops she had to jump through to get us in to see homes, but she did it all without complaint. She is extremely organized and knows the city very well, and also gets along well with other agents. She also knows the trade-offs of different options. For example, in one of our first tours, she noticed a place where water was pooling and pointed it out to us as a potential red flag - I wouldn't have noticed it otherwise. We went on 3 tours, and made offers on 2 different homes. Tanja found us our home in the "coming soon" listings, we were the first to tour it and she helped us get a great price during the negotiation process. Tanja is a lot of fun, too, and was a real pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone buying a home in SF. read more

Tanja helped us both sell and buy a new place in SF. She's been in the business a long time and loves what she does and knows SF. Tanja was the agent for our TIC partner 16 years ago, and we were impressed from what we saw then, so we knew we'd go with her when it came time to buy and sell again in a market that's only gotten crazier. We appreciated her thoughts and judgment about the big picture about pricing and strategy and then her quick follow through and skill with the details. She was right about pricing and timing. For buying, she was forthright about what was realistic for us and once again, was right. We found the perfect place for us and got the price for what we were selling too. Highly recommended. read more

Phew, I'm glad there's only one other review! Sometimes I feel awful for not writing about great service but if everyone knew, the secret's out and all the friends I've referred may not get the same quality of service. Being just the second reviewer means this will still be low on the search results and I still get to review a real pro. Two years ago I attended one of their first time home buyer seminars. That was the peak of the bubble and prices were way out of mine and most regular folks' range. Instead, over the past couple of years I put into practice what I learned. In July when I sort-of had a 20% downpayment and I'd found some properties I liked, I contacted Tanja. She got the ball rolling. Actually it was more like an avalanche. The offer was accepted the same afternoon, how crazy is that? I didn't even have time to feel buyer's remorse because in a month and a half I moved in already. I'm planning on throwing a housewarming party this weekend and she's right there on the top of the invite list -- and even if she's working I sure hope she'll pop by for a bite & a drink! read more

Tanja and Scott and the rest of their team helped us learn how to shop for a house, what we could afford, how to put in an offer, and eventually close. We were first time home buyers before we met them, and we knew nothing. We felt like they took care of us and were patient with our ridiculous questions. The good news: with their help, we found, offered, paperworked, inspected, appraised, inspected again, and eventually closed on a house in San Francisco in under a month. How's that for efficiency? To top it off, we've been in the house for a month now and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommended, especially for first-time buyers. read more

Anyone who has worked with Tanja knows how lucky they have been. She listens to you, looks for what you want, and will fight to make sure you get it! She is the best! read more

Sometimes you take too long to get around to something and this is one of those times. About 18 months ago, I used Tanja as my agent for purchasing a condo in Diamond Heights Last night, as I was sitting at home enjoying what has become a wonderful oasis from the urban hustle, I realized such great service deserves a shout out. So here is my first ever Yelp review. And I am pleased to give it, even after so much time. Tanja Beck ROCKS IT as a professional real estate agent. She works harder than any agent I have ever dealt with, making sure the [property fits her client and that the deal for that property works for her client's situation. She even takes on the work of the agent on the other side when that agent slacks off . She negotiates hard on behalf of her client and makes sure the paperwork gets properly lined up. seeing the deal all through to the end. No hassles for her client and definitely puts the client's interest before her own. I say this from my experience with her as my representative. 5-Stars! I'd use her again. And that says it all. read more

Tanja and Scott are great to work with. Responsive, reliable, on time, and always available. I have worked with quite a few real estate agents and this was by far the best experience. My goal was to purchase an investment property on a fixed budget. Tanja and Scott did not give up even after we were outbid twice. They found me a property that was not on the market yet. The transaction was smooth and I am very happy with the purchase. I recommend MyTeamSF as the "dream team" for your real estate transaction. read more

Miss Tanja is the best there is ... She's patient, extremely knowledgable, goes for the gusto, and generally persists until you get what you want. She takes time to get to know you, is always available to answer questions, and genuinely loves to work with people across the financial and experience spectrum. As first time homebuyers, we sometimes put the "freak out" meter off the charts! Not once did Tanja retreat but rather stuck it out with us because 1) she cared; and 2) she proved she knows what she's doing! There's no question in my mind that I wouldn't contact anyone other than Tanja to hook us up again in the future! Don't look back - just hire Tanja to help you out, you'll be glad you did. read more

Scott Rose is the best realtor in San Francisco. I live in SF, which has an insane housing market. I did not have a very big budget and wanted to buy a home back in 2012 but the realtor we tried to contact before said they do not work with people below a certain budget amount (oookaaay...). That dissuaded me from pursuing a home. Fast forward to 2014 and I went to Redfin to look for homes because I think we were ready to buy one. Thank goodness I did that and Scott responded through the redfin site. Despite a still modest budget, Scott worked with me as if I'm buying $5M dollar homes. He provided information knowledgeably and patiently. I had a lot of questions and he always responded quickly. Within a week, I was already putting a deposit on a new construction. That new construction was delayed for almost a year and my husband and I were very frustrated. Scott always calmed me down when I would go off the handle every time the builder said they were delayed again. He has great relationships with other realtors, the builder, our lender, etc. so I always received the best information so I can make decisions. At the end, we are glad we stayed with the purchase because we like our new home and it has appreciated considerably, again thanks to Scott's knowledge of the SF neighborhoods. We love Scott. He is patient, knowledgeable and personable. I appreciate his very down to earth nature because the San Francisco market is overwhelming. He will guide you throughout the complexity of the process and will always have your interest at heart. read more

We had an outstanding experience working with Tanja and Scott. They represented us for two transactions. They are a great team and are great at what they do. They advised us on the best time to list our home, they have great local knowledge and are very responsive and transparent throughout the process. They put us in contact with a few vendors that did great work at our house with reasonable pricing. Scott knew our neighborhood very well. We were very happy with the quick sale of our home. Throughout the process of finding our next home, Tanja and Scott were really helpful and always had our best interest in mind. They gave us advice on repairs, construction and associated costs which was very valuable to us. With their help and expertise we bought our dream home and couldn't be happier. Tanja and Scott were genuinely happy for us and extremely helpful throughout the close of the transaction. I would highly recommend working with them. read more

I must admit that I use Yelp all the time. It is not very often that I write a review. (I know...bad Yelp karma). However, this is one of those times I feel inspired enough to take the time to write a review. My wife and 2 young daughters moved back to the bay area from Chicago recently and had to endure the long distance house hunt. Thank the real estate Gods for our finding Tanja Beck! Trying to buy a home in San Francisco can be stressful enough. But trying to buy a home flying back and forth from 2000 miles away borders on insanity! Locating the right home for us, giving us insight and perspective, and having a sense of humor while remaining professional is what Tanja brought to the table. For us, she went above and beyond the call of duty. I have had several real estate deals and closings under my belt, so I know how unpleasant the entire venture can be. Our time with Tanja was productive and stress-free. She's prompt, efficient, kind, HONEST, helpful, knowledgeable and easy to be around. I highly recommend Tanja Beck. read more

Tanja is professional, genuine, pragmatic, kind, and thorough. When helping us to buy a new home last month, she went through the disclosure packet in such detail that she found an error that the seller's agent had made which could have cost him his closing fee. Being Tanja, she pointed this out to him, and he was so grateful that it helped our offer to stand out amongst the fifteen that were received. She is also great with people, and she has a natural ability to read people and situations. Her ability to make a genuine connection with the sellers and their agent was a huge part of what made our bid a success. Tanja also owns several properties and has lots of hands-on experience with construction, remodeling, and owning rental properties. She really has the full picture of the San Francisco real estate market, which is especially helpful if you are thinking about buying a property that needs work or that might have income potential. Tanja is also extremely hard working. The house we ended up buying was on lock box, and she very patiently agreed to show it us on multiple occasions. At one such visit, her children were returning from being away all summer that day, but she showed it to us anyway before rushing directly to pick them up at the airport. Since then, we've continued to stay in touch with various updates to the house and she's put us in touch with all sorts of contractors. She's just an excellent resource for all things related to home transitions even beyond the actual sale/purchase. Go Tanja! And thanks!! read more

Tanja was great throughout the entire process of buying our first home. She took her time to make sure we were comfortable with the whole process and worked hard on the sellers for a great deal. We would definitly recommend Tanya to anyone, especially first time buyers. read more

Tanja is great! She's very knowledgeable, and gives GREAT follow-up which is much appreciated. She's also honest -- if you want to put your house up for sale and think you'll give one price and you're off, she's not afraid to (gently) bring you back to earth. She's not out for a quick buck, but for long-time business relationships. She's also very cool and personable... and that never hurts either. read more

We had the pleasure of working with Tanja a few years ago when selling our TIC unit in San Francisco and purchasing our new home here in San Mateo. With both transactions Tanja did a fantastic job, she was very energetic, professional and dedicated to getting the transactions done. Without her the sale would most likely have fallen through. read more

Tanja worked with me and my partner to buy our first house for almost a year. She was very patient with all of our questions and concerns -- we had a lot of them. I highly recommend working with Tanja. She helped us make home ownership a reality. read more

Tanja is outstanding. We interviewed three agents and Tanja was head and shoulders above the others- really clear about her process, extremely kind and thorough in explaining what it would be like to purchase our first home. We ended up taking a really long time to make a decision, for various reasons, and Tanja was accommodating about that as well. When we finally found a place we wanted to buy, Tanja proved herself to be a real pro. She negotiated a great deal with the sellers, and helped us get through what ended up being a very stressful close. And now we are homeowners and moving into our new place! I highly highly highly recommend Tanja to anyone looking to purchase a home in San Francisco. She knows the market, she knows everyone in the business (and we heard from lots of listing agents that they knew and respected her), and she's fantastic to work with. So what are you waiting for? It's a buyers market, people- hire Tanja today! read more

Scott and Tanja are fantastic! I cannot possibly say enough good things about them. They were so amazing and nice, that at first I thought it was a scam and was a little skeptical. GO WITH TANJA - you will not be disappointed!! Efficient, perfectionist, professional, warm, knows the right people, knows the market! 2 Months is ALL it took for Tanja's team to get us our condo. She listens and is smart and suggests and makes perfect decisions on the type of places to see. I have never worked with a more professional person in real estate. She is not a schmoozer, and will give you the low down on the property and when needed she will remind you of your expectations which as we all know fluctuate when we see properties which will almost fit our budget:) You know we all have moments where we know we can work extra and make those slightly higher payments. read more

Tanja is awesome. She not only sold our two-unit home over our asking price, but guided (and tolerated) us during the renovation of that home. We were most impressed by her track record with our target market -- first-time home buyers. Tanja has a firm understanding of the TIC market in San Francisco. This made us feel confident in not only getting the right buyers into the house but also making sure the offers were solid and closed efficiently. Tanja is honest, hard-working, very cool, and, best of all for us, patient. It was a pleasure to work with her. read more

Even after we closed on the house Tanja has stay engaged with us as we look to do some remodel and improvements. Scott helped us in the past with our property search and he was very professional and helpful . In this specific purchase, we mostly dealt with Tanja and I can't say enough good things about her. Very professional, knowledgable ( I'd vote for her as the Bayview Mayor! :)), very patient with us as we were not quite sure what we were looking for, responsive and helped us negotiate the best deal in such a selfless manner. And way, way beyond helpful during the search, buying process and even now, months after we closed the deal, as we are working on remodeling the house. I would recommend Tanja and Scott Team any day, any time, all year round. And would certainly use their service again in the future, either for selling or buying properties in San Francisco. read more

Do yourself a big favor and work with Tanja. She is brilliant! She knows the SF real estate market inside and out and she is tireless in her efforts to find the right place for you. I had a very limited budget, was a frightened first time home buyer, and Tanja moved heaven and earth for me. She is honest, cares about her clients, and is the hardest worker I've ever met. I worked mostly with Tanja, but did work a little with Scott; he is down to earth and helps you exhale during the whole process. Buying a house is stressful. Having Tanja and Scott on your side makes it much less so. You can't go wrong with them. read more

If you want a real estate agent who gets you, but pulls no punches and tells you like it is, get Tanja. We met her at a seminar she was offering. She made buying our house really easy and spent lots of time with us first - for us this translated to buying the first house we put an offer on. She told us what we could afford, what we couldn't, understood our abilities & finances (or lack of either!) to do major work. We knew we were in for the long haul, not "flippers" and she found something we could make a home. And we got a view. I will gladly email anyone who wants to know more about our experience with her. read more

My partner and I met Tanja at a first-time homebuyer's seminar in 2009 when we had first started thinking about possibly maybe buying a home. I was a little embarrassed to admit this to Tanja as I was sure she would prefer to work with people who are ready and able as soon as possible, but she was extremely accommodating and flexible, checking in with us every few months on our readiness. So of course, when the time came, we knew we wanted Tanja to help us navigate through the somewhat overwhelming amounts of information out there for homebuyers. During the period where we were casually going to open houses, my partner and I would go without Tanja (not wanting to take up her time when we weren't completely serious). When we saw a particular unit we liked, I called Tanja, and within an hour, she would call me back with her opinions after seeing the unit for herself. And she certainly wasn't shy about expressing them! We ended up closing on a short sale in the middle of 2010, so for anyone keeping track, it took us about a year and a half to complete the whole process. Throughout, Tanja was friendly and professional, never seeming to mind my constant phone calls asking if we had heard from the seller's bank for approval. She walked us through the escrow process with utmost professionalism and friendliness, being honest about properties and setting my expectations accordingly. She is a true expert in the San Francisco market, and I will definitely be using her services again when I go to sell. read more

It is a pleasure to recommend Tanja Beck. Tanja helped us buy our first home and made the difficult journey to home ownership much easier and a lot more pleasant. Tanja is a seasoned agent, having spent years in San Francisco real estate. She knows the game well, and her clients benefit from that knowledge. Her advice was always realistic and accurate, particularly with regards to how much a particular place might go for. Besides that, Tanja is just a great person to be around - genuine, humorous and sympathetic. The key to Tanja's success as real estate agent is that she really connects with people, instinctively understands their needs, aesthetics and values. This allows her to evaluate properties from the eye of her clients, helping them sort through what is available, preparing them for what it would be like to live in each place with its possibilities and its limitations. She is sensitive to her clients' pace, ready when we were to power through dozens of open houses, or go low key when we felt we needed a break. With Tanja, I promise you will never feel either pushed or slowed down. We love the place Tanja helped us find and buy. It has everything we were looking for, but we actually paid less than we were expecting to spend. Perhaps above all, Tanja is professional. She always does her homework on the property, is excellent at following up, and on top of all the details. She doesn't miss anything. You get the sense that she is someone who takes great pride in what she does, and wants to be the best at it. Success for her is not so much in closing a deal as in helping her clients realize their aspirations of home-ownership. As with many, she has earned our admiration and our respect. We highly recommend her. read more

Tanja Beck and Scott Rose are outstanding realtors. They are great examples of how realtors should serve their clients. They work for myteamsf.com with Zephyr Real Estate. They can be contacted at Tanja@myteamsf.com and scott@myteamsf.com. After interviewing several realtors representing different companies, my sister and I decided to sell our parents' home through Tanja and Scott. Tanja and Scott are a team who possess remarkable talents and skills to sell homes. Selling a house can be an overwhelming experience, but Scott and Tanja made the process seamless to navigate and reach our ultimate goal of selling our house beyond our expectations. Actually, I had thought that the house would take longer to sell than when it actually did. Scott and Tanja have a great deal of confidence and motivation in their ability to deliver what they promise in selling the property to our satisfaction. We put full trust in their capable hands. Tanja and Scott have great knowledge in selling houses in the area of our family property. They utilized aggressive and thorough techniques in marketing. They paid particular attention to the highlights and details of the home to be able to feature areas that would bring in the most interest from the many people who came to see the house. All during the real estate process, Scott and Tanja demonstrated a high level of respect and responsiveness to my sister and my queries, whether they be about real estate terminology, process, or title/escrow related questions. They were also extremely timely in the communications with us and returned calls and emails promptly. In addition, they were able to inform us about the current real estate conditions, financial implications, and about how to best present the house. I was especially impressed with how they personalized their service to our particular needs and were great listeners. After working with Tanja and Scott, my sister and I felt that we definitely chose realtors with whom we could trust to deliver the level of service that they had promised with honesty and efficiency. They were knowledgeable about the use of technology related to the real estate market, were tenacious, and were attentive in all of our conversations. I would not hesitate to refer them to others for their real estate needs. Their combined skills and talents were a perfect match for our purposes. read more
