***UPDATE....I emailed the business owner as asked below. Are you going to get this fixed? I pay…read moreyou and work hard to resolve your bookkeeping errors. I am waiting. Surgery in March. Paid in full, in April when the bill arrives. I keep having to prove I paid. It is now July, mailing more copies of confirmation number of paid bill. Another 30 minutes of my life, ink from my printer to print the paid receipt and USPS stamp gone...again. Can you get it right this time? I beg you!

I have been given the runaround from USAP since receiving a bill for $715 for a routine colonoscopy…read moredone in Jan of 2025. I was told by the Parker Adventist Hospital that this was a routine procedure. I have been reaching out to USAP since receiving the bill first to confirm why I was charged $357.50 twice in the same day for the same procedure. I thought for sure that was just a mistake. Evidently there was more than one person? I only met one when I was put to sleep. Then I asked why I was charged at all for something routine as I was told by my insurance company that there would be no charge. Bottom line, the hospital claims the procedure should still be billed as routine even though I had one small polyp removed. USAP took it upon themselves to use a code showing diagnostic and will not change it even after speaking directly to the hospital and insurance company in a 3-way call on 6/17/25 and confirming it should in fact be billed as routine. So after starting this run around in Feb 2025 I finally got shutdown by USAP on Sept 4th 2025 saying they would not change it and they're so sorry that no one told me that back when I first called. Btw I did reach out to the Patient Advocate for their company on 5/20/25, Courtney Cummings and I do not feel nor did I ever feel advocated for. She dismissed this as just another bill and there's nothing she could do about it. Oh well, not her problem. I will make sure not to use USAP in the future.

THIS WAS DELETED IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS ON GOOGLE AND I'VE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH EMTALA…read more I have a rare tumor that could potentially spread, waiting on an adrenalectomy, & I don't want to be on any type of birth control or have any other surgeries first. Based on my symptoms I strongly believe I have endometriosis & I've already had to diagnose all my other serious problems, including the 2 rare genetic disorders. I have an extremely high pain tolerance due to a near lifetime of cluster headaches but I was in excruciating pain & was actually crying in the fetal position on the gurney. He came over & asked me where it hurt, I said my uterus. He said, "Can you point to it?" I said, "Do you not know where it is?" & boy did that make him mad. Well, how insulting is it to ask a 42 year old woman without obvious brain damage if she can locate the source of her very distinct pain when she's got blood coming from the same place as the last month of the last 30 years?! I'd already reported this pain to my PCP and it was in my record. He kept almost yelling at me to sit up as I was literally shaking in tears from the pain & couldn't. I'd already suffered for hours at home before even going there. I told him I just wanted some Toradol & thought I'd be ok. He refused on the grounds of nothing & said I could only have Tylenol. Toradol is like stronger ibuprofen and has absolutely no abuse potential. Every time I'd plead for some Toradol or ANYTHING other than useless Tylenol he'd repeat his obnoxious "We do things in a step-wise manner here" line, & I guess Tylenol is always Step 1 at PSL. It's stupid to take a step that's only going to set you back or delay your progress if you already know for certain that step is useless! I have a "multi-gene deletion", and have a lot of odd little problems like not metabolizing a lot of drugs well or having paradoxical reactions and have proof of this in my records! Absolutely nobody abuses Toradol anyway and it's stupid and cruel to make me take something I'm 100% sure won't work and wait around an hour before he'll actually try to help me. It would be great to just be believed for once. Pain is not a virtue and there's a psychiatric term for people who enjoy watching others suffer when they could help and it's not supposed to be physician. This was clearly about punishing me for not treating him like a minor god bc he decided I needed an intravaginal ultrasound and he should have known I wouldn't be able to sit through it I was in so much pain so it just furthered my suffering without any additional information. Of course, at that point he could have actually given me a real medication and gotten it done but I guess it wasn't that important after all bc he was just determined not to give me anything but ineffective Tylenol. And as a victim of SA, I really don't appreciate having strangers down there for no good reason. I have medical PTSD as the result of the obvious cancer it took them 5 years to diagnose after saying I had it for 5 years and being treated like a lunatic. I also have PTSD from the SA. This whole experience was incredibly traumatic and I would NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS go to an ED if I thought an OTC drug would help and I'd already been prescribed one thing that didn't work. It doesn't get you high and isn't dangerous for short-term use so why was he so determined to give Tylenol & not give some kind of reasonable medical explanation for why it wouldn't be safe to take a different drug? I really don't think there was any, Ryan Reinkin, DO is just a misogynist. I think that was his name but he wasn't exactly impressive enough to remember after submitting my complaint to the medical board. Nobody better tell me to contact the patient advocate, these people are completely, utterly useless for actual help. They are there to try to prevent violence & lawsuits & don't care about you, they work for the hospital. They "investigated" & determined that they do things in a step-wise manner there. *Insert cursing here*

One of those doctors was a specialist so I just followed their advice, but for the first doctor, I'd say it's better for patients to hear "I need to consult with our specialist" then get the right answer over guessing and being wrong especially when you are frantically googling a condition you're not familiar with on your phone in front of me. Billing could be vastly improved - I cannot count how many different bills I received so any sort of consolidation would be lovely. Additionally, I don't understand how it's so hard to send the correct billing document to the patient. I've requested the same document multiple times now using the specific form name and I keep getting sent the wrong thing or being thrown into an email loop.

Pre and "During" COVID-19 review…read more I've been a patient of Western Orthopaedics for quite a few years now, I'd say over 6 years. I've seen three of the doctors here, and I wouldn't go anywhere else! I've seen Dr. White for my left hip (replaced 3 years ago now), Dr. Hatzidakis for my left shoulder (worked on 5 years ago), and Dr. Bazaz for my right knee replacement, 8 months ago. Yes, I had my right knee replaced at the end of February, 2020, about 1.5 weeks prior to the shut down of all elective surgeries everywhere, due to COVID-19. I got in just under the wire. I'm very glad I did too. Knee replacement has been hard, I'll admit that. The hardest thing has been getting the ROM (Range of Motion) back. I'm doing fine now, with over 125 degrees of ROM. I'm now working on strengthening both of my legs. Anyway, when I went into Western Orthopaedics yesterday (yes, during COVID-19), I could see that they are taking the virus pandemic very seriously. Only the patient and one other person can go in to the see the doctor. The waiting area chairs are marked as to "yes you can sit here," or "no, don't sit here" sort of thing (you know what I mean). The doctors wear masks, along with the remainder of the staff. The technician taking my xrays as well. Thanks, Western Orthopaedics, for taking such good care of me. I truly appreciate it.

I hurt my back after a fall and thought I would see him, well it was a horrible uncaring experience. He was brief and didn't give any advice but a pain shot. Said I didn't hurt my hip, but it was my spine and he showed me the X-ray and it didn't look good. I asked if I should get physical therapy, stretches anything to help! He gave me a pain shot in my back with NO NURSE present and said if it doesn't work in 10 days to call back. That was it!!! Zero bed side manner, not caring at all.............when this is a huge deal to me. I called and complained to the front desk and they had him call me back. I told him my concerns and he didn't care at all and never apologized. I'm going to Spine One and they actually care. I would never go back to see Dr. Ted Parks ever again and I will never refer him to anyone. What a cold hearted human being. Not the doctor for me.

After some discussion I realized that my definition of tarry stools and The medical professionals definition are different. My definition was that the toilet paper never gets clean. I called twice to talk to the physician and was told that I couldn't speak to God Almighty unless I scheduled another appointment and paid another $25 copay. This is the same place that told my daughter that she had celiacs disease after speaking to her for 10 minutes and later retracted that as well. I don't trust this place. I think they're a racket. I explained that I had several recent medical visits (urgent care, ER, MRI, and two spinal injections) that all still needed to be processed by insurance, and I preferred to wait until everything cleared so I'd know the actual amount I owed. The front desk told me I couldn't be seen unless I paid at least half. I repeated that I didn't want to pay an arbitrary amount and then have to fight for a refund that could take weeks. I simply wanted them to bill my insurance and charge me the correct amount afterward -- the way every other facility has done. They refused, so I left. A few minutes later, the same staff member called to say she had "rerun" my insurance and now it showed I only owed around $350, so suddenly that amount was acceptable. Which just proved my point -- it clearly fluctuates. What if they ran it again tomorrow and it showed I owed $0? I had fasted for two days, taken a PTO day, spent money on supplies for the prep, and sacrificed time with my son for absolutely nothing because they insisted on collecting an inaccurate estimate up front. This was incredibly unprofessional and showed zero regard for patients' time, money, or basic dignity. I will be taking my care elsewhere. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY!!!
