10/10 must do if you're in Argentina and haven't seen a tango show! Food was amazing and the portions were huge! Wine was flowing all night. The dancers were spectacular and came around pre-show for photo ops. The opening act was entertaining and when the show began, it was a magical performance by all. I loved the story line and the art behind it all. Best part was after the show, I only had to walk across the street to my hotel! You can come dressed as you like but most people opted for a dressy night out. I had a great time in my solo business trio and this was a nice treat to myself to indulge in the formal tango culture.

Do I know much about Tango shows? Nope. But this did impress me not only with the dancing but the expression on their faces. For 55K Argentinian pesos that comes with 2 meat empanadas and almost unlimited wine(red or white) and coke, I think it's a good deal.

El show y los artistas son geniales, muchísimo talento, de bailarín y de músicos!! He visto el show 3 veces, y no deja de impresionar. Mi favorito manera de verlo es en el centro con el dinner show, pero también se ve muy bonito arriba en los asientos de solo show

Excellent show! The entire event was magical. The dinner was good, but our steak needed a bit of salt and it could have been more tender. The wine was tasty and champagne as well. We had appetizers and desserts- very classy presentation. Dancers were extremely talented and the show had for everyone- I liked the musicians were above the dancers and not below as theatre performances are. The theatre was full on a Monday night!! The theatre is in a good location because of its tourist attractions such as Teatro Colin and the Obelisk centered in a Avenue of Hotels! I recommend the dinner show. We sat in the "pink section " 80,000.00 pesos October 23, 2023.

Me and five friends did the dinner and show and were all completely amazed! The food exceeded our expectations and the show was so fun. It was more than janitor tango dancing and every employee went above and beyond. The performers, the band and our server were just wonderful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting Buenos Aires!

It is a rarity that the show and the food are both exceptional....usually a great show...only has so-so food-but here they did a good job. Also-make sure you get tables right at the stage....the back of the room tables are blocked as people stand up to watch the show...and block you view....they do have a balcony view but I do not think that is with a dinner...it's a show only ticket. From a cost, be ready to pay.... Our young adult children were captivated and impressed which is no easy task.

Being in Argentina, watching a tango show is a priority. I don't know why I was under the impression that a tango show was solo one on one performance, but this was actually a play with several dancers and performers with a story/theme line. We got the package which included the show and dinner. We were picked up at hotel and brought to the theatre. After check-in, we were seated by our hostess and our orders were taken. Before dinner is brought, you get to take picture with a female or male dancer, depending upon your gender and they sell you those photos. Dinner was a standard 3 course meal with appetizers, main entrée and dessert. For appetizers, we went with empanadas, and steak for main entrée that came with mashed potatoes and it was a strip. Dessert composed of various treats like cake, flan, pastry, brownie, rice pudding etc. Our food was good. Steak was good too but I had better in other restaurants in the city. The show itself was fine too, although it was below my expectations. I guess I was looking forward to a one on one dance rather than a theme based play. They had a band accompanying all the various scenes etc. I definitely recommend a tango show, if you happen to be visiting Argentina.

I was not sure what to expect because I deiced to go to the show only which was only 420 pesos or $28 ! which is so inexpensive but I was just blown away. The theater is beautiful and so grant. The staff is super sweet and friendly, I ordered a drink and they did not have it so they went above and beyond to come up with an alternative. Just so so nice. The show was fantastic ! it included 12 people live band with live singing by a solo man and a woman act and different styles of tango from classic, contemporary to ballet like. The costumes were colorful and beautiful. It does not get better to be in a heart of Buenos AIres and see this performance.

We waited at our hotel lobby for 45 minutes, had the Front Desk call and they said they were still making their rounds but would be with us in five minutes. We were finally picked up at 8:30 in an empty van so I'm assuming either the prior bus was full or they forgot about us Anyway, we arrived to the theater and most people were well over halfway, finished with their dinner, so we were seated at a table at the edge of the stage and they quickly tried to get us caught up with everyone else. I wouldn't say that the meal was anything memorable, it was acceptable. We both had the butternut squash soup, and I had the fish special of the day which was Hake and my husband had a steak. There were certain parts of the steak that were a little tough, but overall it was good. You choose a red or a white wine, they bring you a Bellini when you arrive in a bottle of water so you have plenty of fluids. They do bring a pallet cleanser at some point, but they missed us on that. A dessert is included as well, and my husband had the dolce de Leche and I had the pears minus the ice cream. Service is very good, we had two different waiters serving us, but it was a little frazzled since we were so late being brought in The show started promptly at 10 PM and lasted until 11:30 PM. There were three different tango couples as well as some incredibly talented musicians. We were absolutely mesmerized by the accordion player, he is fascinating to watch! There were several singers as well as a man playing what look to be a ukulele, but I know it has a Spanish name. All of these people were incredibly talented. The grand finale was.' don't cry for me, Argentina.' and was incredibly moving and brilliant close to the show. We were back to our hotel around midnight. As our Tour company arranged all of this as part of a package deal, I really do not know how much it cost to go so you will have to check current rates. We went on a Monday night and all seating was filled. We obviously missed the early part of the evening with the tango lesson so you'll have to figure out how to make that happen if that's something that you want to do

The downside of this…read moreevent sadly for me was the dancing, as someone who grew up as a competitive dancer the technique from the tango dancers themselves were missing on some points through it the routine for various performances. I wish the performances or show as a whole followed a structure or spelling Storyline to help them engage their audience. The positives: the food and the ambiance. Whoever was in charge of decoration for this place killed it, it's is so well detailed and you kept it was almost distracting from everything else. The food was the middle ground some amazing bites and some I probably wouldn't order again but the personal hit at the table was the cheese gnocchi and the dulce de leche crepes so if you pass by here make sure to include those two dishes on your list!

Absolutely amazing experience! During a recent group travel trip to Buenos Aires, I had the…read moreopportunity to attend a Piazzola Tango show with dinner. I had never seen a traditional tango dance or performance so I was very eager to attend. Upon arrival, we were seated in the immaculate auditorium. The waitresses' took our meal and drink orders then shortly after, we were invited to attend the tango dance class. The tango class is not a one-on-one or structured tango class. Its a basic group gathering where two of the dancers show you a basic counted step then you partner up with someone and practice. The dancers also lend themselves to perfect the step with you. Honestly, the tango class was alright, not amazing. The instructors only spoke in Spanish, so it was a little confusing at times. Upon finishing the class, we went back to our seats and had dinner. Dinner was good. I started my meal with empanadas then continued on with a meal consisting of steak and fries, paired with chimichurri sauce. Both items were delicious and prepared well. I did not like my dessert, it was some sort of pudding/mouse, which didn't taste very great. The waitresses/staff did not provide the best service and I'm not sure if it was due to the language barrier or just bad service, but it wasn't great. For example - I had to ask for a refill on my drink at lest 3 times before I actually received it. Also, my steak wasn't prepared as I had requested, took forever for it to come back to me. The show is AMAZING but starts very late. If you have been traveling or fall asleep early, please keep this in mind. We went to the venue around 7pm. The show itself did not start until about 9pm and ran until about 11pm. I was exhausted after a traveling almost 16 hours and began to fall asleep by 10. All-in-all the show was beautiful, amazing, and so entertaining. The dancers were graceful, the music wonderful and authentic, and the singing was beautiful. We also got a chance to see the 2019 world tango champions perform - absolutely stunning! Overall, a great experience. If I could, I would give 4.5 stars for the show alone. The dinner is what really took away from the experience however, I would highly recommend attending. Its worth a visit!
