He is a nice, funny guy with a lot of knowledge on paint and how it works with wood. I loved that he explained a lot of things to me, and how to best care for the cabinets. I get compliments all the time on how good my cabinets look, and you would never know its not their original color. He has an excellent warantee on his work and he came back 11 months later to do some touch up work. I had messed up one of my cabinets and he fixed it free of charge and was very responsive and happy to do it. I would highly reccommend him to my friends, and have several times.

From providing an excellent quote to the final walkthrough after the job was done, I had an amazing experience with the company. I had regular contact with both the owner and the project manager throughout the entire project. They stuck to the promised timeline, used high quality paint, and did an all-around amazing job. I was incredibly impressed at how thoroughly the house was prepped before the job - they spent hours going around with a razor, scraping off loose bits of paint. As a result, my previously terrible-looking 60-year-old beams and cedar siding look as good as new! The painters were also very courteous and tidy, and did not leave any paint messes to clean up afterwards. My house looks incredible, the financing process was easy, and I will absolutely hire SwiftHand for any future paint jobs I have.

I am very detailed oriented, so I made sure the quote and contract contained ALL of my expectations. I was also present for the work everyday to both ask questions and to answer questions. This helped to avoid miscommunication/misunderstanding issues a couple of times. This is important for all contractors in my opinion. Based on the other reviews, I would suggest you do the same no matter what contractor you use. Kiesha's sons and brother finished the job a few days early (quoted as a two week job). I asked for a change order mid way through, which they gave a fair price on. No one is perfect so here are my only suggestions for how they can improve. Visual quality of the work performed is 4 stars, and clean up after the job is 4 stars. For the low price they gave me, this is not a problem. Despite these shortcomings, the value they provided was by far the best deal! All other aspects of my experience was 5 stars!!! They are all very nice people, and I was happy to give them business.

I hired Keisha Foketi to pour a driveway and patio. It took six weeks and was a total mess. Keisha…read morewas always hard to pin down and had excuses. She said she couldn't give me an exact price for the concrete job because she claimed the cost of concrete was constantly changing. The finishing work was subpar. Numerous slabs are wavy, chipping, cracking, pitting, indentations, off-colored concrete, finish marks, etc. There are over 100 feet of concrete and issues in each section. I contacted Keisha numerous times about the cracks and poor quality, including the sinking of the patio and the 24-foot-long crack. I emailed her shortly after the work was completed and throughout 2023, asking her to fix the concrete. When she finally came over she tried blaming some of the driveway indentations on a cat, which they were not. She was very dismissive about the cracks, wavey concrete, etc. I ended up taking her to court, where I was awarded a judgment against her. I also found out through the Division of Professional Licenses that her insurance had expired in 2019, even though she claimed she was insured. I would not hire her. As of April 2024, she is not licensed in Utah.

After this past brutal winter we had water damage on one wall of the house and in our sunroom. We…read morecontracted with Fred Marshall painting to repair the damage. We obviously did not get the "A-Team". When the painter was finished I went in and saw that he forgot to take tape off of one window and left approximately 8 ft of tape on our glulam. Numerous spots in the sunroom where the painter scraped and sanded but did not fill with putty. Very noticeable. Paint was applied so thinly under the glue lamb that I can still see the water lines from this past winter. The worst part of the whole thing was on the second day he was in our dining area sanding, my wife was upstairs and heard a buzzing sound. When she came down about a half an hour later she was horrified to see him using an electric sander on the wall. He put no plastic sheeting up or anything. We had a fine white powdery dust all over the first floor of our house. It got into everything even display cabinets. We've spent days dusting and cleaning and we still find spots we've missed. Would not recommend and will not use again. I got an estimate from Peek... It was a little more but I should have gone with him I'm sure it would have been much more professional job.

Victor and his team painted our plantation shutters in our new home before we moved in. They…read moreworked quickly and professionally and used excellent quality paint and primer. The shutters are PERFECT! They dried flawlessly and all the parts function as they should. Prices are very reasonable, especially for this type of painting, which is not something the typical homeowner will get good results from if they do it themselves. I am extremely picky and particular about painting work, and so, before meeting Victor, I started the monumental task of painting our kitchen cabinets. Victor was there as I worked and was great about discussing what I was doing, along with some pointers that I appreciated. In hindsight, I should have had Victor do the cabinets for me too, as it was not so fun for me to do. I trust he would have done as great a job on the cabinets as he did the shutters. We were told from others that shutters are tedious work to paint, as there are moving parts that have to be painted from all angles, and that it is probably best to just replace the shutters instead of paint. But the shutters were still in excellent condition, and it just didn't sit right to me to throw them away. We were referred to VC paint by another painter (who I highly trust for good work.) I am very happy with how the shutters turned out, and I'm so glad I had them painted instead of replacing them. I highly recommend VC Painting, and I will definitely hire them again for future projects.
