This could be a great attraction for Sherman, if done right. The courses does not really need to be redesigned just renovated.. 1. Sand the entire course or improve the fairways, and greens. 2. Put sand traps back. 3. Add restrooms and Water stations 4. Widen the practice range, get a ball dispense machine, etc.. 5. Need a new or renovated club house. NOTE: Sherman need to look at what Allen Texas did.

This resort is HUGE and beautiful, with a gorgeous lobby, tons of seating, great restaurants, golf, Mokara Spa, and even custom cowboy hat fittings. The service was the real standout--from valet and check-in/out to room service, the spa, and restaurants, everyone was consistently kind and helpful. The food was fantastic. The avocado toast at Mokara was so flavorful I went back the next day and ordered it again. No shame. I also had a facial with Shelby, who was professional and incredibly kind. Her facial massage was unlike any I've had before--and trust me, I've had my fair share of facials. My only tiny complaint: the bar closing at 11:30 on a Saturday felt early. Thankfully, the drinks were strong enough to soften the blow. Beautiful resort, exceptional service, great food, and apparently robes good enough to become souvenirs. I'll absolutely be back.

The tech in the main room makes it a great experience to host and attend. What would improve the experience? Firstly, parking costs extra. I don't expect that. Second, there are no device charging stations or options in any of the spaces. Third, the rooms bordering kitchens are thin and kitchen sounds dominate the volume in those ballrooms. Finally, catering provided by Omni was not tasty.

I had a great breakfast omelette which was perfectly prepared to order, and with crunchy hash browns to boot. We took a walk around the clubhouse and met the golf shop staff downstairs as well. This is a really nice club, and if you were looking for a great place to relax, have a drink, and chase the rock around some nice bent grass greens, this would be the place to join!
