To say I was upset is a HUGE understatement. Not one person could tell I got my hair colored. I tried contacting the salon via the email address on their website with no response, I FB messaged them after a few days and they said they'd look at the email, still no response so I messaged them again asking for a refund. Only then did I get a response. I was chastised for not calling and choosing to email the address that is clearly posted on their website. (I don't handle phone calls well at all!) I had to explain over and over that I did not want to come back, I just wanted a refund or at least partial refund. The whole back and forth I had to go through left a VERY bad taste in my mouth. When all was said and done it boiled down to either come back in, which after all the back and forth I would NEVER feel comfortable doing, or have a good day. She would not even consider a refund. Not a great way to run a business. Which is too bad because my stylist and staff were super super nice and the salon was so cute. So consider this a caution if you choose to go to Reflections.

We searched online and found this shop not far from our hotel. After calling and getting lost for the 7 minute ride (lol), we drove up with our service dogs in tow. The staff didn't even blink or give us a hard time about the animals. We really appreciated that! The salon was clean and open. It was very busy but they got to us and we didn't feel rushed. We both got a detox pedicure. I nearly fell asleep in the chair and my friend was humming! That's good work!!! Both dogs took naps! Happiness all around! She consulted me at length before beginning the cut and color to make sure I was 100% confident in my decision. She made sure to educate me on the pros and cons for the health of my hair, rather than just upselling for herself. She even took the time at the end of the session to teach me fun and quick ways to put my hair up on days not washed. She is extremely personable and I LOVE my color. I live in Chicago and have had countless bad experiences. No bad experience here with Angie! Will definitely be coming back.
