This is the first time she did not come home and do some trimming of her own hair after she spent money on a hair cut and she did not complain about the hair salon or stylist. I came in here because of a previous review where their hair was "butchered". I was having the same experience from a local shop within eyesight. As I walked out of that shop, unhappy, I saw this place and grabbed the phone number. When I called the new owner, Jessy/ Jessica, was super sweet and easy to make an appointment with. A few weeks later, I was in her chair hoping for a savior. She understood a man's "permanent" haircut, as she and her Lubbock friends called it. The stylist/ hairdressers are patient and will take their time, so if you are waiting for someone specific you might have to wait a while. However, from what I have seen, most of them are pretty talented. If you have a simple style, you can usually get a seat pretty quickly. I have seen them work on kids, adults, and elderly. They can do it all, and most of these ladies have built a loyal clientele! That's not easy to do. I have been to almost every place in this county for men's hair. My hair is not a simple buzz cut or shave, and it does require styling. This is the only place I could find someone who knew how to work with medium length men's hair, and could be consistent. I do not like clippers on my hair, it just never works out right... and this place will do an actual scissors cut. 4 Solid stars!
