I never used any of the services other than having my hair dyed once, and it was so long ago I can't remember how much it cost--next time I go home I'll check. But they have a full range of services, including nails and massage. My favorite stylist is Sherri Wagaman. She is sweet, efficient, and always gives a great cut. Her husband Ed's talents are famous (in a small town way), so he is always booked. If Sherri is booked I'll ask for Liz, who has done my hair a few times, including for prom and before I went to Mexico on vacation--I made the mistake of getting that one professional dye job and the sun, sand, and surf stripped the color out of my hair in 3 days. Liz is the youngest in the salon and her take on hair is a little edgier--she'd do well in DC! Now that I have a wonderful hairdresser in DC I don't really get my hair done at home anymore--but you never know when you'll need an emergency fix, and it is good to know they are there!

When I said I had an appointment they looked at me like I had two heads and then said they were "glad they stayed" The woman who I later learned was the owner told me she is not a loctician she is just a braider who knows what to do with locs, she then proceeded to call my hair dusty "like I was working construction" because of the product build up and said I started my locs with my hair too long. She also said she needed a day when she had "more time" to actually do it. So I wasn't getting my hair done that day. By the end she could not give me a price and said it would be "more than 150" and that she "prefers cash" I'm not sure how I'm supposed to bring cash when you cannot tell me a price. I left without getting my hair done and found a lovely place closer to my home that had fair pricing and kind staff.

The front section is the "salon" and they have a "barbershop" space in the back for the little gentlemen. There are TVs to help keep the littles occupied while they get a haircut. Miss Marley is always great about asking what our kids would like to watch. They also have some toys and books to help pass the time. She is fabulous with kids. I also love that it's a real manicure that includes hand soaking, lotion, base coats and top coats, etc. Everything from the scents to the colors to what's on TV is geared towards kids here and it was just a delightful experience from start to finish. Worth every penny.
