I have long curly hair so finding someone to cut it properly is difficult. Debbie did a great job, did everything I asked for and offered suggestions as well. I also got partial highlights which turned out looking very natural- exactly what I asked for. I personally appreciated that Debbie didn't constantly force conversation the whole time. I was scheduled with Deb to have some grey covered and add highlights. Deb never brought out any samples of color to compare to my very dark blonde hair. What I got was a dark brown hair, which is nothing like my natural color, it covered the grey but made me a completely different color. Then when I returned to have more highlights added they were put in a stripe and line that was not like the normal weave. My hair is a dark ash. I wanted to cover the gray with ash not brown and add highlight. Deb really messed my hair up twice! I pay a lot and expect better service. read more

This is hands down the best salon in town, and I've tried many. They are all very educated/trained in their profession. If you are not happy with something, they make sure they make it right with you. Just recently I had my hair colored and highlighted, (Feb 24th, 2018) I had to go back a week later (Mar 5th, 2018) after I had a chance to really look at it and I decided there just weren't enough highlights for me. I wasn't totally satisfied. So my stylist added more highlights to my liking, now I'm sooo very happy with my new style. Also you can book appts online, which is so easy and convenient. The atmosphere is so relaxing and cozy. Every woman needs to be pampered, this is the place to go and they offer a variety of services. read more

I made an appointment to come here for a haircut & style on a Saturday, it wasn't too busy (I guess that can be a good thing?) I am a cosmetologist myself so I know what should & shouldn't happen. The person I had was nice, although the haircut wasn't all that great. I wanted a long bob cut with layers in the back, & what I got was a blunt cut at the bottom and little layers going towards the top. For the style she didn't ask me how I would like it styled & she just blow dried it straight (I already have straight hair). I did ask her to thin it out at the bottom & she did do it, but it was still very thick & blunt. At the end of the service, she didn't show me how the haircut came out in the back & just took off the Cape & walked me up to the front. For $38 for this haircut & style, i could have done it myself at home for free. I think these stylists needs classes to learn how to layer hair better & how to handle different texture hair. Very unhappy about this. I will be making an appointment at a different salon to get it fixed. read more

I've never actually been to Tangerine Salon but I can speak direct to their amazing customer service. I live out of state and needed a birthday gift for a family member. The customer service I received over the phone was top notch. They went above and beyond to make this an easy process for me. They even mailed the gift card from their location to my family member who actually received it the next day. I was so happy with the customer service I received for that gift and the feedback about how wonderful the massage was, that I decided to call back and do it again for another family member.This time I purchased the Tangerine Pedicure. I got the exact same excellent customer service and the gift card went in the mail the same day. In this day and age, I feel that wonderful customer service really needs to be recognized! read more

I've had trouble finding a decent salon in Sheboygan. I recently tried out Tangerine and was super happy with the results. Rebecca cut my hair and did a fantastic job- i was leery at first b/c a lot of hair was coming off but she gave me a cut that not only suited my face, but also that suited my lifestyle. I mentioned I wasn't big on waking up early to style and junk, and she gave me something that looks awesome when I roll out of bed. The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars instead of 5/5 is it was a -little- more pricey than i wanted to pay, but a good haircut is worth it. read more

If Rebecca is still the manager, then the owner seriously needs to place an ad for a new one. I am planning my wedding and looking for salons to do my bridal party's hair & make-up.
