I had 6 consultations prior to meeting Dr. Shawn Moshrefi and from the moment I walked in to his office, I knew he was 'the one'. Every question, no matter how small or repetitive was answered thoroughly and honestly. I never felt pressured, only supported and informed. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Moshrefi for a Mommy Makeover/Fat Transfer to buttocks…read more On 9/30/25 I had a mommy makeover with fat transfer to buttocks. I'm Absolutely disappointed that I chose Dr. Moshrefi to do my procedure. After first week I had to be aspirated on the sides of the breast as well as fluid in the abdomen area after surgery. Sides of breasts are lumpy and lower abdomen Still protrudes outward. I told him I should get an ultrasound to see if I have any issues? He had David hand me over a prescription to get it done. I knew he was irritated that I wasn't happy. I did go to Northridge Diagnostics and had the ultrasound done and they sent results to him. of course he never called me with the outcome because he knew he screwed up. He took no accountability. I had to go and get my results printed up and I took the scan to a reputable surgeon to have them read it. I immediately requested my medical records from Modern Plastic Surgery and I have yet to receive them. They Refuse to give them to me. I had to file a complaint with the CA State medical board. They assigned me a case number. HIPAA states that those medical records should always be given upon request. They exceeded the timeline. Also, My Fat transfer to the buttocks looks lopsided and flat. I told him one week after surgery it didn't work I'm still flat and he actually told me maybe because you're sitting down on it right now at my postop appointment. (I'd been sitting on a bbl pillow every moment. He knew he did a horrible job and made sure to say " it's nothing I've done". Lipo 360 was not done correctly. Every surgeon I've gone to regarding getting a revision done to correct his work said Lipo 360 should be the side of the breast all the way down through the waist.. it's sculpting. He made sure he charged me for everything. Even the day of surgery his brother told me you are probably going to need a lift with your implant exchange. I said why wasn't this discussed in my preop? He has pictures of what I wanted. And we discussed it already. Today is my surgery, And I'm paid in full. He said yes but after review it's going to be extra. We can just take the extra 6000 now, and that's a deal for you.. Dr normally charges 8k!! He then Brings in a credit card machine and puts it in front of me and said you can charge it or we can wait to do your surgery so you can get qualified for care credit. This is all while I am prepped and ready for surgery, and already taken off work I wish I would've known how these two shady characters worked.. I should've ran as fast as hell out of his office. Huge mistake on my end. Please do your research. I chose the local route, which is now come back to bite me hard. 35k and he said it was such a deal! Waiting on the medical board to see what can be done but as of today, I have revisions surgery scheduled for April 27th with another DR. to fix abdomen, sides of breast and fat transfer. Please get second opinions. I don't wish what I've been through on anybody.

Injectables can be a very nerve wracking thing, but the nurse who helped me, Raquel was so kind and sweet. She made an assessment based on what I told her I needed the most help with and helped to make me feel more confident in my skin. Raquel was so gentle with her injectables, it didn't feel like anything! The place is really well kept and clean, which is definitely something you'd want to see when going to a medspa. After we were done, the staff asked me how everything was to ensure that I had a good experience (in which in fact I did). They're located in a plaza where parking is pretty easy too, which makes it a a plus! A few weeks later and I'm loving my results so far. I'm super excited to continue getting my treatments here in the future!

Twenty minutes later they had approval. What??? So I made an appt to see Dr. Wareham the following Thursday (today). Today I go there at 10:00 to fill out necessary history. My appt was at 10:30. I then was called in at 11:15. The nurse told me Dr. Cho would be right with me. Dr. Cho?? I said. My appt is with Dr. Wareham I told her. The office booked me with a different doctor! The earliest I could get in to see Dr.Wareham would be in 3 weeks they told me. While in the back before all this happened, I gave the nurse a list of all medications I'm on for Epilepsy, Diabetes and Heart Disease. When I was leaving the doctor's office I asked for my list back. The nurse gave me a printout from their computer which she had already entered and ripped up the list I gave her. Fine. I could print out another copy; however, once I was home I looked at the printout which she entered and it was wrong! So now I can't get in to see Dr. Wareham for 3 weeks. This is my 5th week with Vertigo. Office staff was nice however incompetent and beyond frustrating.

Last year I received my Medicare along with a supplement plan so I was happy to find out that this procedure (which is not cosmetic) would be covered. From the time I entered the facility I was greeted very warmly by the front desk and also the administrator. I met with the doctor and he assured me this procedure could be done in office without an outside facility. He also reassured me that this procedure would be paid for by my Medicare and supplement plan. What I like about this place is the surgeries are performed st this facility as he has his operating rooms inside. Dr Kryger was fantastic when I had the procedure in the operating room. I was awake and given a local all of the nurses and the doctor were talking in the operating room and having a great time and I believe it was to calm me down. As they were going through the procedure they asked me what I wanted to name my lipoma when it was removed! Lol. It took a bit to get it all but and he did a fantastic job. I was pain free as well after!! I highly recommend this place if you need a plastic surgery procedure.
