Great locale, front and center parking, and you can hop right onto the main road through Holland. They also don't push you into package deals or contracts like some of their in-town competitors. This salon doesn't try the "Tropical Tiki Bungalow" look, instead opting for a warm, clean, and streamline atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, never too pushy or trying to sucker you into buying anything for a commission sale (again differing from some of their competitors). They used to offer student discounts with a valid student photo ID, but I'm not sure if they still do. If you walk in on the right day, they might have a sweet sale going on!! They also have a great selection of well-known and favored tanning lotion brands. I had tanned here for around 3-4 years on-and-off, and they offer great package deals and bundles that are appropriately priced for the area. I've only stopped visiting because I moved. I only had one snafu a while back, and I'm sure this happens at ANY tanning salon. One new employee that was clearly just a bad hire didn't clean my bed very well, if at all. She did it twice. Regardless of how good/bad a business is, you can't blame them for hiring one bad egg. I took my concern to management thereafter, and what could have been a terrible customer experience, turned out to be one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I was taken very seriously. The manager understood completely and I have a feeling that their worst fears were confirmed: that they had accidentally hired a rude and lazy bimbo. They fully reimbursed me even though I was content with a partial refund. There are bigger businesses that are far less generous to their customers! This sort of thing can happen with any business. The difference is that these guys know how to respectfully deal with a serious issue if one ever arises. I applaud them for that!! Needless to say, that employee doesn't work there anymore. Elite Images has a wonderful reputation for cleanliness and some great, genuine people that aren't fakely trying to sell you products until you're orange. Instead of shopping at big competitors that have bought out all the small, locally owned tanning shops, and probably just want memberships and commissions, I say go here. This will always be my favorite tanning salon in Holland. From what I've seen, all of their customers feel very welcome and are treated like VIPs. Plus, they have a cozy little hair salon that I need to visit next time I am in town!

Comes up to ME And rips a paper out of my hands because I was going to write instead of engage in her abuse. I had to get away from her physical aggression to another part of the store to write my letter. As you can see, I had to pull out paper and pencil that I keep for my kids to draw on, out to leave a note - since that was NOT allowed by Miss Katie.

It was the lightest shade, but it was super not it. Maybe I am just not a spray tan person, idk- but it was no bueno. It was sticky for a long time, even after showering. I will admit... I was kind of a "know it all" towards the woman who did my makeup, so I apologize for that. She was really sweet, and I really appreciate that. The makeup turned out to be okay... the jaw contour she did on me was AMAZING but you couldn't really see my eyeshadow. I had to fix a few things myself. The hairstylist kinda scared me, lol. Pretty stubborn. Not someone you'd want to mess with. Anyways, as for my experience with her services, it wasn't too bad. She said that I had a lot of dead hair and asked if she could cut like six inches off, which I said yes to. I appreciated that- I'm glad that she noticed that. It shows intentionality... even though she was super angry about it. When I asked for a blowout, though, all she did was straighten it. The hair stayed straight throughout the night, though. That was nice. I did not go back. For the price paid, it was not worth it for me. Maybe this place will work for other women, but it doesn't work for me. Please read the other reviews to see the good experiences that people have had here!!! I've heard that this place has worked SUPER well for others.
